 Definition of organization :
“ Organisation is a system of consciously coordinated activities
of two or more persons ‘’
(Chaster I Barnard )
“ Networking refers to the systematic establishment and
Use (management ) of internal and external links
(communication ,interaction ,and coordination )
Between people ,teams or organization.
NETWORKING ORGANIZATION :
 A network organization is a collection of autonomous firms
or units that behave as a single larger entiity ,using social
mechanism for coordination and control .

1-COMPOSITION OF INTERRELATED
INDIVIDUALS :
 Organisation is a composition or aggregation of interrelated individuals
.the organizations are not merely a number of individuals collected at
random but they are composed of individual who are interrelated .the
identifiable interrelated group of individual determines the boundary of
the organization .
 It shows the organization as a separate entity from the other elements in
its environment
2-CO-ORDINATION :
 Coordination of various activities is as essential as their
division .it helps in integrating and harmonizing various
activities :
 Coordination also avoids duplication and delays
 In –fact various function in an organization depends upon
one another and the performance of one influences the
other .
3- COOPERATIVE RELATIONSHIP :
 An organization creates co-operative relationship among
various members of the group
 An organization cannot be constituted by one person it
requires at least two or more persons
4- DELIBERATE AND CONSCIOUS
CREATION AND RECREATION:
 Organization is a social unit which is deliberately constructed
or reconstructed .
 It’s a system of consciously coordinated activities of two or
more persons .
 This feature differentiates the organization from other social
units .
5- DIVISION OF WORK
 Organisation includes breaking up the entire work into
different segments
 Different segment of work are then assigned to different
persons for their efficient accomplishment .
 This bring in division of labour
6- IN THE CENTRAL (or HUB)
 In the central (or hub ) organization of networking structure
,usually there is an absence of horizontal and vertical
boundary within the organization
 There is emphasis on cross hierarchical teams and
participative decision making
7- SHARING OF INFORMATION :
 Sharing of information among constituents of the networking
organization is greatly facilitated by electronic technology
,such as computer , e-mail ,fax etc

organization ,as the central organization has relationship and
arrangement with many business partner beyond its own
boundary lines .
 The network structure is newer type of organization structure
often viewed as less hierarchical (more flat ),more
decentralized,and more flexible than other structure ,in this
structure managers coordinate and control relations that are
both internal and external to the firm.
