NCM 101 Prerequisites:  NCM 100   Course Description:  The course is designed to provide the students the developmental theories and concepts, to critically analyze health needs and concerns of the individual, family and community. Classroom and RLE provided the students with activities to develop SKA and values on health promotion and identification and management of risk factors and with problems.
NCM 101 Competencies: Given a client with simple to complex health problems/ work related health problems and life-threatening conditions in any health care situation, the student provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process.

Class room rules and regulations Be attentive to classroom discussion. Questions can be raised and entertained. If you have something to add, you may do so but in a manner not offensive to the lecturer. Difficulty on some topics is expected, clarifications and questions are very much appreciated.
Class room rules and regulations Sleeping is prohibited during lecture hours. During the 4 hours lecture, one break for 30 minutes is only allowed. Rest room privileges are limited. Going out of the classroom is prohibited since you may cause distractions and miss out on some important topics.
Class room rules and regulations Failure to attend the class, will  require you to present an excuse slip from the office prior to the next lecture. Same rules applies to late comers The attendance sheet must be submitted before the lecture.
