The plant will be located in Malad west
keeping in view the availability of raw
material is easily available there i.e. easy

Mumbai-- Malad will be taken on rent. It will be
a row house. It will be divided into sections
with respect to the work performed there.

Production planning and control can be defined
as the process of planning the production in
advance, setting the exact route of each
item, fixing the starting and finishing dates for
each item, to follow-up the progress of products
according to orders.

A house of 40 * 25 fts duplex row house in the
Malad malvani area will hired on rent .
The rent will be 40000 per month.
There will be three rooms on the ground level
that is kitchen, wash area & office room.
Sections on the top will be store
room, packaging room, terrace & washroom. The
sections will be divided by the staircase.
34. MISCELLANEOUS ASSESTS
Assets like furniture and fixtures, plastic
crates & tubs, working tables, storage racks etc.
shall also be required for which a provision of
Rs.70,000/- is adequate.
UTILITIES
Power requirement shall be 15 HP whereas per
day water requirement shall be 550-600ltrs. for
washing of fruits or vegetables and for
potable and sanitation purposes.(Rs.200
monthly),(Rs.3000 monthly).
35. RAW AND PACKING MATERIALS
This project will be set in Malad malvani so
there will be easy available of
mangoes, lemon, and other and vegetables which
is required for manufacturing the pickles.
Since except green chillies and lemons, all other
products are available only during certain
seasons, they should be cured and dehydrated
during the season and stored properly for use
during off-season.

Machines worth Rs 97500/- shall be needed as
spelt out earlier.
2) MISCELLANEOUS ASSETS
A provision of Rs.70, 000/- is adequate as
mentioned before.

Some assets like a refrigerator costing Rs
8000/- will be bought.
Another important asset will be the delivery van
which will be second hand again. This will cost
about Rs 80000/-.

38. 4) PRELIMINARY & PREOPERATIVE EXPENSES
Many expenses shall have to be incurred prior to
commercial production like market
survey, registration, establishment and
administrative expenses, trial run
expenses, interest during
implementation, travelling etc.
A provision of Rs. 50,000/- should be adequate.

emergency requirement of raw
material, snacks, etc. will cost up to 500 s a day.
