3. Market Study
• Most of the current demand is fulfilling by the imported product like BMC, MDH,
Tikhalal, Haldira, and many other Indian brand. These are directly consumer health
related product so we must be assured about the quality . Consumer never knows
what sort of product they have been buying, they pay for brand rather than
quality. Because many problem still exist regarding quality about these product like
duplicating trade mark and using low quality raw material and chemical for instant
test. In the contest of imported goods domestic product are very low and very
small portion of market is with domestic products.
• It has great potentiality if we assure the quality and value the taste of consumer
and care their health. Its demand will go upward everyday as the population will
raise. And in this globalized age market are open globally, we can send these
products all around the world specially in Gulf and to the most of the Asian
Country where these spices have been taking in food traditionally and in Europe
too, because they consider and knew the reality of Turmeric, Cardamom, Ginger,
Cumin Seeds etc( Asian Spices) are great medicine.
4. General Statement of product
• The product will be foiled pack from inside and outside rapper will in box sized by
12cm,6cm,and 3cm height, length, width respectively.
• Focusing catering and hotel restaurant business We will also produce 1kg and 5 kg
as per requirement of consumer. It will be in plastic with silver foil from inside.
• We also focus on local market for that we will make small pack of 50gm
100gm,200gm in silver foil with plastic pack from outside.
• We seriously focus on consumer health so our product will be with clearly printed
best before date and MRP for not to get cheated.
5. Establishment of business
• Location of the Business: The Factory will be located outside the ring road and corporate office and marketing
office will be located centrally where other offices will be.
• Construction:
1. Factory space will depend upon the size of plant and required space for its set up, determined
later on.
2. Warehouse for raw material needed to be 2000square ft and another 1000 square ft for finished
goods store.
• Market area and scope: It has tremendous market with very short life, once it used than consumer must buy
next and specially who used spices they cannot absent it in there food even one day. This is basic need of Asian
food, specially Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and some other country. In the beginning we care our local
market and network outside Kathmandu and possibly we make our target to gulf.
• Comparison between competitors: We value the of our consumer and there health, we will avoid using
chemical and mixing supplementary. It will be totally organic directly buying raw material from the local farmer.
So as I believe existing brand in the market will not be our competitor but again if there are any such
committed toward consumer health then obviously market will be shared with them.
• Main Customer: Our main costumer are those who buy quality product we say all Nepalese, because we make
costumer wise product concentrating there needs, we also focus there purchasing power with quality.
• Total Market: We measure total 3000 millions trade annually in Nepal. Among total we expect at least 5%
market initially which is 150 millions trade annually.
• Market Requirement: Most of the product that we are going produce that has similar demand some product
may have low level of demand which depends upon it usages. But It is sure market need continuous supply
and quality product in which they can believe.
• Capacity of Production: Capacity should not be below 1 Ton per day. We may increase later on as it required.
• Sales Promotion Procedure: Sales promotion will be effectively done through different means of
advertisement.
