Children are noisy , you can't expect a quiet class with young children
It's more a matter of controlling the noise level and teach then little by little
to have quiet times as well. Allow them to be noisy in a positive way by
getting them to play action games and by letting them to speak to each
other during their working activities.

9. CLASS ROUTINE
is important for young children to have a routine class
young children have no sense of formal time , so saying that 20 minutes means
nothing to them but a routine help them what to expect and do and starts giving
the a notion if time
Kindergarten is often a child's first experience with traditional schooling, but even
students with preschool experience may find the transition into kindergarten
difficult as they face new academic challenges. Providing exciting and safe learning
opportunities in kindergarten provides a basis for a continued love of learning, but
routines must be in place in order for students to be successful
when routines and procedures are carefully taught, modeled and established in the
classroom, children know what’s expected of them and how to do certain things on
their own. By using creative methods of teaching classroom routines, you can
ensure your students are ready and prepared for the lessons you will be teaching
and that your classroom is as safe and friendly as possible for your young students.

17. TEACHING YOUNG CHILDREN LANGUAGE
speak at normal speed and don’t break up your sentences
thinking you are helping your kids identify individual words,
remember at this age children learn from imitation
use English when ever possible all your instructions and
questions
use full sentences or phrases
insist your kids to use full sentences so they can get a sence
of context
when you are teaching a new vocabulary let the kids listen
and watch you as you speak and mime

an enjoyable way to teach vocabulary to children is to make
into a story witch you can illustrate on the board with pictures
drawings or actions. try to work with simple stories

28. VIDEOS
young children like watching videos but only in short sessions
teach the main vocabulary items before showing it so they are encourage to
listen
stop the video once in a while and ask questions what ? who ?? how ?
after showing the video describe a character and ask the children to guess
who he is
get the kids to draw a picture and make them tell the class about it .play the
same video often so the more they hear the more they understand

29. RHYMES, SONGS AND DRAMA
rhymes and songs are fundamental tool for teaching young children a new
language they develop the ear which is very important for learning a new
language,
they teach pronunciation
most rhymes and songs are repetitive language
they are always well accepted by children and are fun
they make the children feel good and happy
always reinforce the meaning of the words with actions
music helps children develop a sense of rhythm which helps them in many
other areas
