The Plains People lived on the prairies and hills of North America and consisted of tribes like the Sioux and Lakota. They lived in teepees and lodges, hunted buffalo and other game for food since farming was limited, and wore clothing made from animal skins. Their daily lives revolved around hunting and ceremonies marking important life events. They used tools like travois and par fleche for transportation and crafted items like peace pipes and winter counts from leather hides.
