The Shawnee Tribe lived in small round dwellings called wigwams in South Georgia. They wore breechcloths made of deerskin and wraparounds for clothing. Their diet consisted of foods they farmed like corn and squash as well as game like deer and fish. Men hunted and went to war while women farmed, cared for children, and cooked. Children played with miniature bows and arrows. The Shawnee believed in a grandmother spirit and respected animals like panthers and raccoons.
