Essay on The Environments of the Earliest Australopithecus
Background and goals
The conditions in which bipedal locomotion emerged are still unresolved. However they are all
closely dependent on environment reconstructions. This project will contribute to the scientific
community s understanding of the environments of the earliest Australopithecine.
Australopithecus anamensis is the earliest species of the genus and the first indisputably bipedal
hominid. According to paleoecological analyses (isotopes, fauna, soils, etc) (2,3), these hominids were
generalists who lived in mosaic environments , e.g. a mix of habitat types. However, the specifics of
the exploitation of the environments by the hominids need to be further explored.Understanding the
conditions of local environments is essential ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Also, it has been reported that a number of bones of the Kanapoi collection show carnivore induced
damage . In addition, Allia Bay and Kanapoi yielded A. anamensis remains, but Mursi has not. Does
the Mursi collection differ from the two others, and if so how?
Methods
Because of the antiquity of the Pliocene environments, the only remaining witnesses of the behaviours
are the bones and the stones. One of the main approaches to this type of issue is using the faunal
remains. They are more abundant than the hominid fossils, and some indicator species are excellent
proxies for paleoecological inferences. In addition, we can study their taphonomic signature, i.e. the
processes that affect a bone between the death of the animal and its discovery as a fossil, and how
these processes affect information in the fossil record (6). By looking at the different kinds of traces
(grooves, cuts, abrasions, or any physical or chemical deformation) on a bone, a researcher can study
its individual history. By identifying these traces on all animal fossils collected from a particular site,
we can address the question of what the local environment was like. To evaluate taphonomy, the
researcher looks at the surface of each bone with a handheld magnifying lens and records the type and
intensity of the traces on each bone. Extant floral and geological data will also be exploited.
Schedule and Materials
Taphonomy is unique among

Studies on Memories
Human beings usually depend on memory to accurately recall or describe the past events that have
happened. However, many researchers have shown that human memories can be imperfect and fallible
(Lilienfeld et al., 2012). This essay will argue that human memory for the details of past events is not
reliably accurate. The evidence for this argument can be seen in two empirical studies which will be
reviewed. Schmolck, Buffalo Squire (2000), found that percentage memory distortions and mistaken
recollections after 32 months is higher than 15 months. Lastly, Roediger III, Jacoby, and McDermott
(1996) found an extensive misinformation effects occurred in memory recall and the effects increase
with repeated testing.
First evidence is study by Schmolck et al. (2000) which is to examine memory changes about the O.J.
Simpson trial verdict after 15 months and 32 months of the incident. The IVs for the study is the time
taken for the interview of the participants. The IVs has two levels which are the interview were
conducted after 15 months and 32 months of the incident. Meanwhile, the DVs for the study is the
percentage of memory distortions after 15 and 32 months of the incident. They surveyed 222
undergraduate psychology students. The participants rated several questions and answered a few
questions (how they heard the verdict, where were they and what were they doing when they heard the
verdict) after 3 days of the verdict was announced. Then, the 222 students were divided into

Don T-Stop Believing Poem Meaning
Some will win / Some will lose / Some were born to sing the blues (Journey lines 24 26), and some
were born to be poets. In this case, it is Maggie Smith s Good Bones and Journey s Don t Stop
Believing that serve as great examples to that. All poetry, including songs, are artistic in one way or
another; short or long, rhyme or no rhyme, but they all have a meaning. They also all contain poetic
devices, which is what really makes them artistic. Journey s use of allusions, repetitions, and
metaphors is why Don t stop believing is more artistic and poetic than Maggie Smith s Good Bones .
These two pieces of art, Don t Stop Believing and Good Bones , share a very similar message which is
to believe that there are good things in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Repetition is a pretty basic poetry device that just repeated words or phrases to emphasize their
importance. Metaphors on the other hand are a thing that can make ideas go above and beyond.
According to Dr. Peter Fuda metaphors make big, complex things simple and are more familiar (Fuda
1). That is why they are so vital in making these two works good. Repetition especially in Good Bones
is used a lot for little parts of the poem that make them stand out, and show importance. Maggie Smith
repeats Life is short twice back to back (lines 1 2). Also at the end when she makes her biggest point
and repeats This place could be beautiful / right? You could make this place beautiful (Smith lines 16
17). She wants people to see that for the repetition of all the negative aspects of life, there is also the
good which is why she repeats this key phrase and the end of the poem. Journey s use of repetition is a
little different and broad in the fact that it is the chorus that repeats. Although it is a longer text it still
is an important part which is why they chose to use

Disadvantages Of Police Discretion
Assignment 2 Discretion can be defined as the availability of choice of options or actions. We all use
discretion each and every day with all the decisions we make in our day to day lives. With that being
said police also use discretion but theirs have the ability to change people s lives on the daily basis.
They have to make those decisions each and every day not knowing how it will affect the person s life.
Discretion is something that is a very necessary part of police work. One of the reason it is mainly
exercised is because of all the vague and ill defined laws that we have in our country. Although most
instances when police discretion is being used the violations are minor. Another why police discretion
is much needed is because if ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Police can also use discretion in a very positive manner as well. There was a case in London when a
man was shoplifting out of a Kroger and the police officer got the call but when got there he saw the
man was stealing baby formula. It turned out that he was stealing for his six month old son, who was
with him at the time. The officer said Me citing him for court wouldn t have done any good for him,
he said. He s already short on money, can t afford formula, so me making him appear in court, he s
still not going to have any food for that baby. To me that was an excellent example of discretion used
with restraint and not only did he not arrest the man he actually bought him the formula and informed
him about how he could get help to get things like that. I feel like that would be totally wrong to arrest
someone for committing that crime. The officer also said I think when [a lot of people] look at us, they
see just the uniform and just the car, just the tools that we have on our belt, Roby said. But behind the
uniform, I m a human being and I m a person out in this community just like any of them. I have a
little boy. I m a father just like that gentleman was. That is the way I feel all officers should think
before they do certain actions towards a citizen. Because they do not

Does Polonius Love Ophelia
In the story Hamlet there are two characters who loves Ophelia but in their own way. There s an event
in the beginning of the story where Hamlet shows his love and affections to his love Ophelia.
However, the two characters Laertes (brother) and Polonius (father) react to the situation differently.
Polonius orders her to stay away and do as he says while Laertes advises Ophelia about men and
Hamlet. From the choices the these character chose reveal how much they truly value dearest Ophelia.
Therefore, I believe polonius loves Ophelia more than Laertes. In Act 1, Polonius is explaining those
offers (love notes) that Hamlet is giving Ophelia, and that if she believes them then she is a fool.
Furthermore, if she continues her actions and believes in these offers then she ... Show more content

Then Polonius said not to fall for those gift from Hamlet because it would show she has no self respect
(because it s seducing her), and that he taught her better. However, Laertes actions show better and
greater love for Ophelia. In Act 1, Laertes stays a few minutes with Ophelia talking about Hamlet.
Then he gives her an insight of what young men want and they will say to get it (sex). To add on, he
tells her to be careful and not to do anything reckless/regrettable or it will ruin her reputation (1.3, 15
44). The summary of this quote shows that Laertes cares and loves Ophelia more because he stays
with her a for a few minutes even though he is running late on time to leave Benchmark. He stays to
warn her of Hamlet and not to expose her body to him. Then not to give into his desires for her
because he may love her but not for long.then he may be with her but only for reputation and for the
country. The fact that he truly cares and loves her. Except, Polonius over power Laertes love and cares
for Ophelia because he stays with her (by her

Beethoven Comparison
Both Richard Wagner and Ludwig van Beethoven were incredibly influential composers of their time,
incorporating techniques and changes that soon led to a shift in musical direction in their respective
eras. Given thought, it s hard to discern which was the more influential, however they both contributed
greatly to music of the time and music to come. The two permanently changed the face of music, but
also differed in person and the centuries ahead that they influenced.
The pair of composers were both born in Germany, to musical fathers who heavily influenced their
careers. Wagner s alleged biological father, Ludwig Geyer, was constantly working within the theater,
and often brought Wagner along with him. Beethoven was born into a highly musical family heavily
involved in the church, and his father was his first teacher of music. Beethoven and Wagner both
shared unique ideals about music that shaped the future of music, namely Beethoven s break with ...

Beethoven was most well known for his nine symphonies, while Wagner was best known for his
operatic works. Beethoven was a heavy innovator of the symphony, most evident in the final
movement of his ninth symphony with his incorporation of a full choir. Wagner was one of the first
composers to completely drop the idea of tonality, which became very popular during the advent of
twentieth century music. Wagner also created the Leitmotif, which is used heavily in the scoring of
movies. Also, while both were German born composers, Wagner was heavily nationalistic to the point
of denouncing the musical works of those without german heritage, and being anti semetic. Wagner
and Beethoven both differed on how they lived their lives as well, as Wagner was known to
accumulate debt in a location until he became hated, then leave that town for another, while
Beethoven spent the majority of his life in Vienna,

The Trial And Death Of Socrates Analysis
In order to leave a memorable past, you have to learn how to stand tall for what you believe in.
Anyone who can be easily persuaded is not someone who cares to be remembered. The ones who are
always remembered are the ones who didn t follow the rest of the crowd. In the Trial and Death of
Socrates, Socrates was brought up on false chargers and was still able to hold his stance. For Socrates
he thought he would think logically instead of like the others. However, at that point it was frowned
upon to think a different way. Socrates tries to use his own ideology and make others see from his
point of view. When he is put on trial, he uses good arguments to defend himself. For example, when
Meletus says that majority improve the young while the minority corrupt it, but Socrates brings up a
great point with horses and other animals. While with animals the minority improve and the majority
corrupt. (25B) During Socrates trial, a lot of details cluing into a bigger picture showing how he is
able to prove his innocence and also stand up for what he believes in. One example, is him trying to
focus the attention away from him being a sophist. Socrates was not charging his student to learn his
teachings. He was teaching from his own will, not for a pay cut. Most of the leaders who start big
movement do it ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

because, the people will feel as if he is going against what he believes; and if this becomes the case
then Socrates will lose his support from followers. Socrates believes that the opinion of the many do

The Foreign Miners in the American Gold Rush Essay
The Foreign Miners in the American Gold Rush
One Saturday night, a mob of masked men, who numbered forty to sixty, approached a small house.
Arriving at the house, they dragged two slumbering men from their bunks and hustled them from the
house, without even allowing them to put on their clothes, and started to kick and beat them. One of
the invaders drew his pistol and shot at one of the victims. The bullet pierced the body of the man and
inflicted a terrible wound. Both men who were attacked that night died. This event occurred in Rico, a
camp in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado on May 13, 1882. The two Chinese miners that inhabited
the village were kicked, cuffed, and dragged over the ground by the hair of their heads, clubbed ...

Marshall at Sutter s Mill in 1848. The discovery of gold was one of the most remarkable events in the
history of the American West because it stimulated worldwide migration to the area. The Gold Rush
began as soon as the news about the discovery of gold spread throughout the country. The rush
exploded within just a few years and continued to attract numerous people for the following decades.
The rushes occurred in many places: In the 1850s, it came to Virginia City, Nevada, and Cherry Creek
Colorado. In the 1860s it came to Montana and Wyoming. And, in the 1870s, it came to the Black Hill
of South Dakota (Hine Faracher 197). Randall E. Rohe indicated that the major gold rush in the
American West attracted from 10,000 to 100,000 people per year (Dirlik 3). The census in 1848 shows
26,000 people lived in California, but in 1860, the total rose to 380,000 (Nugent 63).
It was the opportunity for employment that attracted workers from foreign countries, as well as
America, to the mines of the West. The mining industry was the largest source of jobs in the world at
that time. Many mines were in need of laborers; everyone could get a job if they wanted to. The sense
of adventure also attracted many people (Milner 206). The fortune seekers who had a desire to be rich
by digging gold clustered in mining camps in the west.
However, being a miner in the California gold Rush was a tremendously challenging experience. The
life in the tunnels was not always exciting.

Informative Essay On Thanksgiving
Did you know that Pilgrims and the Indians made the day of Thanksgiving on November 29 1623?
Well, if you did than that s great. I wrote about Thanksgiving because it s the holiday that our family
always cherishes. Sometimes I would watch cooking channels to learn how to cook Thanksgiving
food for my family. It s really what we do every Thanksgiving.
The definition of Thanksgiving is the expression of gratitude, especially to God. It also means an
annual holiday marked by religious observances and a traditional meal including turkey. The holiday
commemorates a harvest festival celebrated by the Pilgrims in 1621, and is held in the U.S on the
forth Thursday in November. A similar holiday is held in Canada, usually on the second Monday in
October.

Globalism And The Growth Of Income Disparity
Globalism and the Growth of Income Disparity
Globalism and the Growth of Income Disparity
Globalism refers to connectedness and communication networks that span continents and bring the
world s people closer together, and globalization refers to how globalism increases or decreases.
Digital technology has increased globalism, global marketing and business opportunities, but this
growth doesn t mean that everyone gets a share of the wealth. There has been a growing gap between
the richest and poorest people that only seems to increase as globalism generates more opportunities.
The top fifth of U.S. households, for example, own 84 percent of the nation s wealth while the bottom
two fifths only own 0.3 percent of the country s wealth according to the a href=

while median income households only earned 25 percent more in the same period, and most of that

Income Disparity Between Poor and Rich Has Grown Steadily Under Globalization

hard facts that the disparity between the haves and have nots continues to increase. These

Fallacies In The Film Religulous
The documentary Religulous by Bill Maher, appeals the audience asking if they can believe in
something like religion or God on blind faith without proof that he even existed. Maher preaches the
gospel of I don t know but in his way of searching for the truth he comes off as contradictory, and he
criticizes confident people about their beliefs while declaring that religious faith is not legitimate.
Maher commits many fallacies through the film like for instance he does not grasp the implication of
his ideologies. in the interviews with religious leaders and believers it felt like they were just going
around in circles when he asks why they believe in God and Bible. They all said mostly the same
thing they believe God is real because it said so in the Bible, and it has always been like that since the
beginning of time. No one gave a clear answer as to why they belief or faith is unquestionable. Maher
s religious position is that he s not sure God exists but every time he interviews someone he ridicules
their belief, and in turn, his arguments seem as if they came from a place of ignorance. Thus, Maher
can only conclude that he doesn t know, and he cannot claim that another person stance that God
exists is wrong. Base on his premise that no one knows for certain if God exists one or the ... Show

Teaching Style Of The Instructor
Each teacher is different no matter what the course subject is. When I find myself in a new class with
a new professor I seem to notice the little details that make up the teaching style of the instructor. In
total I have four classes all of which are part of Chattahoochee technical College. Two of those classes
take place at the Paulding Campus and the other two take place at the North Metro campus. I take my
American Government class at the North Metro Campus every Tuesdays and Thursdays. Every
Monday and Wednesday I go to the Paulding Campus to take College Algebra. These two professors
differ in more ways than just the subject of their course. My American government teacher is pretty
cool. He has a very fun way of teaching. By cracking jokes and making cheesy remarks on every
chapter, he always succeeds at making his class an interesting one. Every lecture does not even seem
like one. I always look forward to sitting in the front of his class ready to learn everything. However,
my college algebra professor is, with all due respect, a more old schooled instructor. He does crack a
few jokes from time to time but he s mostly serious. He is very focused because in math one flaw, no
matter how small, can cause the answer to be wrong. His way of teaching is quite interesting as well;
not only does he teach the class the easiest way to solve a problem, he also teaches the class the harder
way. Every student is different so the line between the easy way and the hard way

Boxing is Not a Violent Sport Essay
Boxing is a sport full of hard hitting, fast movements and lots of blood, but being a boxer is not too
brutal for the society but it does have its good and bad.
Boxing was found back in 697B.C in Germany. When it was first aired on TV people didn t like it
much and was commented as the worst TV show. But as the years went on more people started to get
interested in the sport, and then kids wanted to become like their favorite boxer. And soon after boxing
was the number one show that everyone watched. This caught the eye of Muhammad Ali the world s

staying in the hospital. The dangers about this sport is getting punched in the head and stomach
multiply times that can lead to broken ribs, swelling, painful stomach pains, hemming, skull fractures,
concussion, broken nose, and jaw bones. Boxers risk their lives to put on a show for the fans, but the
loser gets paid less or might not get paid depending on the contract. A boxer s worst fear is getting
seriously hurts and not being able to provide for their family. Some of them would spend more time in
the gym training with their coaches thinking of new ways of beating their opponents and gaining more
support from the fans, which takes away spending time with their family. All boxers wanted to
become the best boxer they can be and win lots of belts along with more money. But by doing that
puts their family in jeopardy of falling apart.
The best thing about this sport is being a V.I.P fan. A V.I.P. is a person who has won or earned the right

bags, interviews with their favorite boxers, autographs, and after parties. With more fans

Why Are Hawaiian Animals Endangered
Imagine that Hawaii the tropical 50th state is losing all of it s natural animal species because either
animals had to migrate here or be brought over here by humans for a purpose which causes new or

native animal species, including bird, reptile, and mammal species due to the very dangerous invading

Throughout the years, many native animals are declining because of many reasons and that is why
preserving Hawaiian species is a worldwide problem. The purpose of this paper is to share the history
of why most of these animals are endangered through factual evidence. First, the Monk Seal

The Bolsheviks now had control of the Soviets and the Red Guard, control of Petrograd, and a small

the used furniture proved to be a good choice that in the long run worked for our coffee shop. We also

Challenges We Overcame A challenge that we faced with our coffee shop was making the staffing

to go downhill with our staff. As a result, this had an effect on the overall service of the workers. They
were not as happy or productive as we had hoped. Our managers were becoming stressed out and our
servers were being overworked and even a couple of our servers quit. This lead to us hiring more
servers, another manager and giving our managers a raise. These necessary adjustments were a must
in our attempt to increase productivity. We also thought that by giving the managers a pay raise, it
would make them feel appreciated and motivate them to work. Recognition is what is needed to
inspire employees to do their best.

The Role Of Independent Agencies And The White House Staff...
The modern American presidency is defined as the presidency s transition to the center of American
governance. Distinct from typically passive and isolated presidencies during the 18th and 19th
centuries, the modern American presidency of the mid 20th century set the use of power and
popularity as precedence. The transition to the modern presidency can be understood through the
development of the presidency s institutional, international, and perceptual identity. In this essay, I
will argue that the increasing role of independent agencies and the White House staff that spearheaded
executive policymaking led to a significant institutional change to the presidency. I will also argue
America s expanding international function in response to globalization placed the presidency,
responsible for foreign policy, in a newly found position to exercise power. Finally, I will argue that
the public perception of the presidency as a living reality (Reedy, p. 10) shifted it from a peripheral
political entity to one at the center of policy discussion and leadership. In this essay, I will present
examples of the modern presidency in the attributes of administrations from Franklin D. Roosevelt
through John F. Kennedy, as well as evaluate scholarly models that contextualize how attributes of
these administrations shaped the modern presidency, such as John Burke s Institutional Presidency,
Aaron Wildavsky s Two Presidencies, and George Reedy s American Monarchy.

Lent signifies the beginning of spring...after all, the name itself is derived from the Anglo Saxon word;
Lencten, meaning Springtime. It s the time of year that many of us look forward to all winter long. A
time where the flowers bloom and the birds begin their yearly song and dance. This is a time of new
beginnings, a time where we purge what we no longer want or need, ridding ourselves and our homes
of the stagnant, either physically or energetically. During this time of the year we start fresh, looking
forward to the bright and sunny days ahead...
Last week I took advantage of the unseasonably warm weather by taking a walk with my son. It was
the first time we had been outside in what felt like ages. (I don t count running from the house to the
car and vise versa cloaked in my wool coat and snow crunching beneath my boots as spending time
outside). So with a perpetual smile on my face, I walked along the streets near my home and reflected
on this idea of purging the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Would this new season bring with it new beginnings and new opportunities? Each year we grow a
little bit more, navigating our way through this thing that they call the American dream . We begin to

Symbolically throwing away that which does not serve us anymore. Things come to mind on how to
be more efficient and make our process easier and convenient for our customers. Though, I do not
believe that we have clutter or weeds in our garden per say, we are always looking for ways to make
our garden more beautiful, more noticeable than, say, other gardens. Constantly searching for

Persuasive Essay On How To Get A Driver s License
Getting my driver s license was a huge milestone in my life. There are a lot of steps to take in order to
earn a license. You need to be prepared to drive in a world where rules are an abstract concept, and are
rarely applied. Here is the process I went through to obtain my driver s license, and how I barely
achieved a goal that was very important to me.
Before I could even think about driving myself to school, I had to obtain a learner s permit for 6
months. Most teenagers earn their learner s permit at 15 and a half, their parents give them $365 to go
to driving school for 2 weeks, and then they have their license at 16 years old. That was not the case
for me. My parents were not as supportive of me nor as excited as most parents would be for their
teenagers to get their driver s license. I was unable to earn my permit until I was 16. When the long
and torturous 6 months of me driving with my mother were finally over, I simply asked my parents if
they could financially help me out with driving school. They never had the money for those kinds of
things. That meant it was all up to me to be independent and get a job. At seventeen years old I had
enough money to take to the Springfield School of Driving and place a deposit to start my classes.
After I finished driving school, I was eager to schedule my driver s exam.
August 22, 2017 was a rainy day. At the time, I had never even driven once in the rain. I was unaware
how to use both windshield wipers and headlights. This

The Parable Of The Good Samaritan
I have decided to lock my doors so no one would interrupt me, and I have told everyone in my
household that I am working on a very important assignment. I have confined myself in my room
turned off every electronics to keep myself from free of distraction. The direction required me to read
the Parable of the Good Samaritan in at least two different versions of the Bible. Therefore, I decided
to read this passage with New International Version, The Message by Eugene Peterson, English
Standard Version, and Korean Revised Version. I decided to read in Korean as well because I wanted
to have better verbatim understanding of the passage. After reading the passage for three times in each
version, I reflected on my role as a Christian and my understanding of a neighbor. Reading through
this passage, the definition of neighbor for me is one who is in need of help. My role as a Christian is
embedded in Luke 10:37. In the passage, a man who was attacked by robbers needed help. The
neighbor to the wounded man in the passage was The one who had mercy on him (Luke 10:37, NIV).
In this translation of the Bible, the role of the neighbor is one who have mercy on others. When I
reflect on the word mercy , I think about God s Grace on us. Paul writes in Ephesians 2:4 5 that But
God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead
in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ by grace you have been saved (ESV). God
showed his mercy

Business Plan For A Strategic Plan Essay
Introduction In this paper, I will select an organization and prepare a strategic plan to grow the
business over the next three years. This strategic plan will include certain criteria. That criteria
includes:
Describing my organization s history and major competitors.
I will explain the current situation of my organization in the market.
I will conduct a SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) to determine areas
that offer opportunities for change.
Additionally, to the SWOT, I will choose three areas and why they are essential to the strategic plan. I
will also, use theories that support these three areas.
Lastly, I will explain my method to determine the level of success for my strategic plan.
The organization that I choose for my strategic plan is BoatUS. As I am currently serving in the
United States Coast Guard, I am very familiar with companies that work near or on the water. Boats
and other recreational vessels that operate on the water are also a passion of mine so I have interest in
this subject for when I retire from the Coast Guard.
Body BoatUS is an organization that offers a variety of services to the recreational boater. In fact, they
are the largest organization of its type in the United States with over 500,000 due paying members.
Founded in Richard Schwartz in 1966, it claims to serve the interest of the recreational boaters in the

Thesis Outline Of The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire
Bella Katz Humanities 10 Mrs. Beer and Mr. Wagner October 26, 2017 Triangle Shirtwaist Factory
Fire INTRO PARAGRAPH Thesis = Even though the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire was a horrible
event and killed a lot of people, it helped the United States improve their factory working conditions
and helped strengthen the woman s work unions. The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory was owned by Max
Blanck and Isaac Harris. This factory produced shirtwaists, which are high necked cotton blouses that
working woman wore in 1911.These shirts resembled men s shirts. The factory was located on the
corner of Greene Street and Washington Place, Manhattan in the Asch building. There were ten floors
in the Asch building but the factory was only on the 8th, 9th, and 10th floors. All of the workers who
worked at the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory were very young and were not treated well. They were all
around 15 years old and were mostly Italian and Jewish immigrants. Their work was 7 days a week
and 12 hours a day. For all of this work and time, they were only paid about 6 15 dollars a week which
is not a lot of money. Lunch was their only break during the 12 hour day and it was for just a half an
hour. However, during the factories busy season, their work was basically non stop and even more
demanding. Also, in some cases, they were required to bring their own supplies including needles,
thread, irons and sometimes even their own sewing machines. Surprisingly, around 500 people worked
there every day. Not only were the workers not treated well, the building was also very unsanitary and
unsafe. They worked on top of each other in cramped spaces where there were just lines and lines of
sewing machines. The exit doors were locked in order to stop the workers from leaving to go to the
bathroom. Only the foreman had the keys to unlock the doors. There were four elevators that had
access to the factory floors but only one of them were in working condition. In order to get to the
working elevator, the workers had to go down a long narrow hallway. This elevator was only able to
hold 12 people at a time. Factory floors had no sprinkler system and the entire building only had one
fire escape that was not big enough for all of the people in

Bakken Pipeline Spill
Spill, baby, spill: As Sierra Club s Michael Brune puts it, It s not a question if a pipeline will
malfunction, but rather a question of when. And, though they spill less often than trains do, the
International Energy Agency found that pipelines spill much more in terms of volume three times as
much between 2004 and 2012. The Bakken Pipeline s route takes it through active farmland, forests,
and across the heartland s major rivers: The Big Sioux, the Missouri, and the Mississippi, some with
multiple crossings, though the US Fish and Wildlife Service claims that no critical habitat is
endangered. It also runs through sacred Native American lands (more on this below).
Enbridge Inc., a stakeholder in the Bakken pipeline, has a speckled track record on spills. In 2010, an
Enbridge pipeline spilled 1.2 million gallons of crude into the Kalamazoo River, one of the worst
inland spills in American history. Because the pipeline qualifies as a utility (despite being privately
owned and for profit), the Army Corps of Engineers was able to certify it without performing an
environmental impact statement, as all utilities projects qualify as minimal impact. These projects are
subject to environmental assessments every five years.

China Missile Of The South China Sea
China deploying missiles in the South China Sea Since September 2015, China has begun to increase
the arming of the islands in the South China Sea on the islands that China claims belongs to them. The
claiming of the Paracel Islands and the Spratly Islands by China are creating panic for its neighbors,
Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan, and the Philippines. Because, China is ignoring the claims the nations
have on the Islands in the South China Sea. Most recently, China has made a political decision to
deploy missiles on Woody Island in the South China Sea, an island that is very close to the Philippines
and Taiwan. China claims that the island belongs only to China and no one else, but there are
Vietnamese, Philippine, and Taiwanese claims on the islands in the South China Sea as well that China
is ignoring that is creating unrest in the South China Sea. China s claim on the islands in the South
China Sea for themselves and the creation of artificial islands are very important to me because China
is violating international law and the claims of other nations. As a result of this, if China was to
disregard the claims that Vietnam, Taiwan, and the Philippines have on the Paracel chain islands in the
South China Sea then a war might take place between China and the allies of the U.S. such as, Taiwan
and the Philippines. If war was to break out between China and the allies of the U.S. it is very likely
that the U.S. will send forces to assist its allies in war. Because I am eighteen

Nature Methaphors in The Battle of Issus and Starry Night...
Since the beginning, nature has been one of mans many inspirations. It is used to convey emotions and
bring meaning in many ways in art. During the Northern Renaissance Albrecht Altdorfer was one of
the most distinguished painters known for his expressively detailed landscapes. The Battle of Issus
done by Altdorfer focused on nature to further amplify Alexander s victorious battle. Three hundred
and sixty years later, the Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh creates a work that also showed how nature
can bring emotion and significance to his painting Starry Night. Albrecht Altdorfer s The Battle of
Issus in one of the artist most famous works depicting the exploits of historic heroes. [1] It was created

Above the battle, in the sky nature seems to have it own dramatic conflict that elaborately mirrors the
historical battle of Issus. The Post Impressionism artist Vincent Van Gogh created his masterwork
Starry Night in 1889. Unlike the painting of Altdorfer, this painting was more personal and had the
conflict of man vs. himself. The painting of Starry Night took place in France while he was in the care
of the Saint Remy of Provence Psychiatric Hospital. Van Gogh yearned for a life that was calm and
harmonious during his seemingly never ending depressive state. In Starry Night Van Gogh s point of
view is omniscient as well but, he detaches himself even further. He Van Gogh creates a night sky
embellished by the swirling of its clouds and the illuminating blaze from its stars. He uses lines that
are arabesque in continuation that creates a fluid like design over the work making it harmonious.
Located below the dynamic sky is a row rolling hills in which the artist used different tones to create a
sense of depth in his work by the use of atmospheric perspective however, the painting still has a look
of flatness. The hills lead the eyes to a small calm inviting town created using simple shapes. The
church in the valley towers over all the homes as if it was a guardian. The tall steeple of the church is
not able to touch the magnificent sky however, there is an eerie cypress tree in the foreground it is able

The Three Types Of Drama In Ancient Greek Drama
Ancient Greeks used drama as a way of investigating the world they lived in. There are three genres of
drama: comedy, satyr plays, and most important of all, tragedy. Greek tragedy and Greek comedy
formed the cornerstone of modern theatre.
While comedy was mainly a way to mock men in power for their vanity and foolishness and satyr
plays on the other hand were short plays performed between the acts of tragedies and made fun of the
plight of the tragedy s characters, tragedy dealt with the big themes of love, loss, pride, the abuse of
power and the fraught relationships between men and gods.
Tragedy is a form of theatre with poetic elements, which was originated from Ancient Greece and it
reached its most significant form in Athens in the 5th century BC. Although, the tragic plots presented
in Greek tragedy were based on myths from the oral traditions of archaic epics, they were presented
by actors. The most important authors or as they also called playwrights of Greek tragedies were

Even the death of a character was not allowed to be seen and it had to be heard from offstage. In
addition to this, the poet was not allowed to make comments or political statements through the play.
This gap was to be filled later by a less strict form of play, the Ancient Greek Comedy.
At the early years of Ancient Greek tragedy, the plays, which started in the morning and ended in the
evening, had only one male actor, who performed wearing a costume and a mask. The actor was
speaking to Corypheus, the leader of a group of 12 to 15 actors, called chorus that was only allowed to
sing and dance. Eventually, the number of actors was increased to three, no matter how many
characters were in the play. Each actor, after playing one character had to switch his mask and his his
costume and then reappear on stage as a different character.

SECURITY OF WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS
Introduction
Wireless devices, like all technologies that provide external access to corporate networks, present

Because of the great diversity of device capabilities, as well as their inherent security limitations,
MSD cannot provide security for data stored locally across every device. Instead, MSD provides
security for corporate data inside the firewall, by securing it against unauthorized access by wireless

In particular, MSD provides administrators with the ability to (Cohen, 1991):
· Associate a specific, authorized user with each mobile device ( Trusted Devices ).
· Specify what wireless networks can communicate with MSD ( Trusted IP Addresses ).
Trusted Devices
MSD s Trusted Devices feature enables administrators both to know what employee is authorized to
use each device, and to control the ability of each user or device to access Domino via MSD. For
example, if an employee loses his or her mobile device, an administrator can immediately disable the
use of that device with MSD, thus eliminating the risk that an impostor will access the network.
In addition to Trusted Devices, MSD offers a related security feature called Dynamic Device/User

Neoliberalism is a new form of economic policy. It is a very contemporary concept, having become

Right to Neoliberalism, Neoliberalism is the economic, social, and political analysis that best
describes the startlingly unequal distribution of wealth and power in the U.S. today. In other words,
everything that is wrong with our government today is a product or effect of Neo Liberalism. Because
of Neoliberalism, the people who are rich and in power remain and in power and actually continually

  • 2. Essay on The Environments of the Earliest Australopithecus Background and goals The conditions in which bipedal locomotion emerged are still unresolved. However they are all closely dependent on environment reconstructions. This project will contribute to the scientific community s understanding of the environments of the earliest Australopithecine. Australopithecus anamensis is the earliest species of the genus and the first indisputably bipedal hominid. According to paleoecological analyses (isotopes, fauna, soils, etc) (2,3), these hominids were generalists who lived in mosaic environments , e.g. a mix of habitat types. However, the specifics of the exploitation of the environments by the hominids need to be further explored.Understanding the conditions of local environments is essential ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Also, it has been reported that a number of bones of the Kanapoi collection show carnivore induced damage . In addition, Allia Bay and Kanapoi yielded A. anamensis remains, but Mursi has not. Does the Mursi collection differ from the two others, and if so how? Methods Because of the antiquity of the Pliocene environments, the only remaining witnesses of the behaviours are the bones and the stones. One of the main approaches to this type of issue is using the faunal remains. They are more abundant than the hominid fossils, and some indicator species are excellent proxies for paleoecological inferences. In addition, we can study their taphonomic signature, i.e. the processes that affect a bone between the death of the animal and its discovery as a fossil, and how these processes affect information in the fossil record (6). By looking at the different kinds of traces (grooves, cuts, abrasions, or any physical or chemical deformation) on a bone, a researcher can study its individual history. By identifying these traces on all animal fossils collected from a particular site, we can address the question of what the local environment was like. To evaluate taphonomy, the researcher looks at the surface of each bone with a handheld magnifying lens and records the type and intensity of the traces on each bone. Extant floral and geological data will also be exploited. Schedule and Materials Taphonomy is unique among ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Studies on Memories Human beings usually depend on memory to accurately recall or describe the past events that have happened. However, many researchers have shown that human memories can be imperfect and fallible (Lilienfeld et al., 2012). This essay will argue that human memory for the details of past events is not reliably accurate. The evidence for this argument can be seen in two empirical studies which will be reviewed. Schmolck, Buffalo Squire (2000), found that percentage memory distortions and mistaken recollections after 32 months is higher than 15 months. Lastly, Roediger III, Jacoby, and McDermott (1996) found an extensive misinformation effects occurred in memory recall and the effects increase with repeated testing. First evidence is study by Schmolck et al. (2000) which is to examine memory changes about the O.J. Simpson trial verdict after 15 months and 32 months of the incident. The IVs for the study is the time taken for the interview of the participants. The IVs has two levels which are the interview were conducted after 15 months and 32 months of the incident. Meanwhile, the DVs for the study is the percentage of memory distortions after 15 and 32 months of the incident. They surveyed 222 undergraduate psychology students. The participants rated several questions and answered a few questions (how they heard the verdict, where were they and what were they doing when they heard the verdict) after 3 days of the verdict was announced. • 5. Don T-Stop Believing Poem Meaning Some will win / Some will lose / Some were born to sing the blues (Journey lines 24 26), and some were born to be poets. In this case, it is Maggie Smith s Good Bones and Journey s Don t Stop Believing that serve as great examples to that. All poetry, including songs, are artistic in one way or another; short or long, rhyme or no rhyme, but they all have a meaning. They also all contain poetic devices, which is what really makes them artistic. Journey s use of allusions, repetitions, and metaphors is why Don t stop believing is more artistic and poetic than Maggie Smith s Good Bones . These two pieces of art, Don t Stop Believing and Good Bones , share a very similar message which is to believe that there are good things in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Repetition is a pretty basic poetry device that just repeated words or phrases to emphasize their importance. Metaphors on the other hand are a thing that can make ideas go above and beyond. According to Dr. Peter Fuda metaphors make big, complex things simple and are more familiar (Fuda 1). That is why they are so vital in making these two works good. Repetition especially in Good Bones is used a lot for little parts of the poem that make them stand out, and show importance. Maggie Smith repeats Life is short twice back to back (lines 1 2). Also at the end when she makes her biggest point and repeats This place could be beautiful / right? You could make this place beautiful (Smith lines 16 17). She wants people to see that for the repetition of all the negative aspects of life, there is also the good which is why she repeats this key phrase and the end of the poem. Journey s use of repetition is a little different and broad in the fact that it is the chorus that repeats. Although it is a longer text it still is an important part which is why they chose to use ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. Disadvantages Of Police Discretion Assignment 2 Discretion can be defined as the availability of choice of options or actions. We all use discretion each and every day with all the decisions we make in our day to day lives. With that being said police also use discretion but theirs have the ability to change people s lives on the daily basis. They have to make those decisions each and every day not knowing how it will affect the person s life. Discretion is something that is a very necessary part of police work. One of the reason it is mainly exercised is because of all the vague and ill defined laws that we have in our country. Although most instances when police discretion is being used the violations are minor. Another why police discretion is much needed is because if ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Police can also use discretion in a very positive manner as well. There was a case in London when a man was shoplifting out of a Kroger and the police officer got the call but when got there he saw the man was stealing baby formula. It turned out that he was stealing for his six month old son, who was with him at the time. The officer said Me citing him for court wouldn t have done any good for him, he said. He s already short on money, can t afford formula, so me making him appear in court, he s still not going to have any food for that baby. To me that was an excellent example of discretion used with restraint and not only did he not arrest the man he actually bought him the formula and informed him about how he could get help to get things like that. I feel like that would be totally wrong to arrest someone for committing that crime. The officer also said I think when [a lot of people] look at us, they see just the uniform and just the car, just the tools that we have on our belt, Roby said. But behind the uniform, I m a human being and I m a person out in this community just like any of them. I have a little boy. I m a father just like that gentleman was. • 7. Does Polonius Love Ophelia In the story Hamlet there are two characters who loves Ophelia but in their own way. There s an event in the beginning of the story where Hamlet shows his love and affections to his love Ophelia. However, the two characters Laertes (brother) and Polonius (father) react to the situation differently. Polonius orders her to stay away and do as he says while Laertes advises Ophelia about men and Hamlet. From the choices the these character chose reveal how much they truly value dearest Ophelia. Therefore, I believe polonius loves Ophelia more than Laertes. In Act 1, Polonius is explaining those offers (love notes) that Hamlet is giving Ophelia, and that if she believes them then she is a fool. Furthermore, if she continues her actions and believes in these offers then she ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Then Polonius said not to fall for those gift from Hamlet because it would show she has no self respect (because it s seducing her), and that he taught her better. However, Laertes actions show better and greater love for Ophelia. In Act 1, Laertes stays a few minutes with Ophelia talking about Hamlet. Then he gives her an insight of what young men want and they will say to get it (sex). To add on, he tells her to be careful and not to do anything reckless/regrettable or it will ruin her reputation (1.3, 15 44). The summary of this quote shows that Laertes cares and loves Ophelia more because he stays with her a for a few minutes even though he is running late on time to leave Benchmark. He stays to warn her of Hamlet and not to expose her body to him. Then not to give into his desires for her because he may love her but not for long.then he may be with her but only for reputation and for the country. The fact that he truly cares and loves her. • 8. Beethoven Comparison Both Richard Wagner and Ludwig van Beethoven were incredibly influential composers of their time, incorporating techniques and changes that soon led to a shift in musical direction in their respective eras. Given thought, it s hard to discern which was the more influential, however they both contributed greatly to music of the time and music to come. The two permanently changed the face of music, but also differed in person and the centuries ahead that they influenced. The pair of composers were both born in Germany, to musical fathers who heavily influenced their careers. Wagner s alleged biological father, Ludwig Geyer, was constantly working within the theater, and often brought Wagner along with him. Beethoven was born into a highly musical family heavily involved in the church, and his father was his first teacher of music. Beethoven and Wagner both shared unique ideals about music that shaped the future of music, namely Beethoven s break with ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Beethoven was most well known for his nine symphonies, while Wagner was best known for his operatic works. Beethoven was a heavy innovator of the symphony, most evident in the final movement of his ninth symphony with his incorporation of a full choir. Wagner was one of the first composers to completely drop the idea of tonality, which became very popular during the advent of twentieth century music. Wagner also created the Leitmotif, which is used heavily in the scoring of movies. Also, while both were German born composers, Wagner was heavily nationalistic to the point of denouncing the musical works of those without german heritage, and being anti semetic. Wagner and Beethoven both differed on how they lived their lives as well, as Wagner was known to accumulate debt in a location until he became hated, then leave that town for another, while Beethoven spent the majority of his life in Vienna, ... • 9. The Trial And Death Of Socrates Analysis In order to leave a memorable past, you have to learn how to stand tall for what you believe in. Anyone who can be easily persuaded is not someone who cares to be remembered. The ones who are always remembered are the ones who didn t follow the rest of the crowd. In the Trial and Death of Socrates, Socrates was brought up on false chargers and was still able to hold his stance. For Socrates he thought he would think logically instead of like the others. However, at that point it was frowned upon to think a different way. Socrates tries to use his own ideology and make others see from his point of view. When he is put on trial, he uses good arguments to defend himself. For example, when Meletus says that majority improve the young while the minority corrupt it, but Socrates brings up a great point with horses and other animals. While with animals the minority improve and the majority corrupt. Arriving at the house, they dragged two slumbering men from their bunks and hustled them from the house, without even allowing them to put on their clothes, and started to kick and beat them. One of the invaders drew his pistol and shot at one of the victims. The bullet pierced the body of the man and inflicted a terrible wound. Both men who were attacked that night died. Marshall at Sutter s Mill in 1848. The discovery of gold was one of the most remarkable events in the history of the American West because it stimulated worldwide migration to the area. The Gold Rush began as soon as the news about the discovery of gold spread throughout the country. The rush exploded within just a few years and continued to attract numerous people for the following decades. The rushes occurred in many places: In the 1850s, it came to Virginia City, Nevada, and Cherry Creek Colorado. In the 1860s it came to Montana and Wyoming. And, in the 1870s, it came to the Black Hill of South Dakota (Hine Faracher 197). Randall E. Rohe indicated that the major gold rush in the American West attracted from 10,000 to 100,000 people per year (Dirlik 3). The census in 1848 shows 26,000 people lived in California, but in 1860, the total rose to 380,000 (Nugent 63). It was the opportunity for employment that attracted workers from foreign countries, as well as America, to the mines of the West. The mining industry was the largest source of jobs in the world at that time. Many mines were in need of laborers; everyone could get a job if they wanted to. The sense of adventure also attracted many people (Milner 206). The fortune seekers who had a desire to be rich by digging gold clustered in mining camps in the west. I take my American Government class at the North Metro Campus every Tuesdays and Thursdays. Every Monday and Wednesday I go to the Paulding Campus to take College Algebra. I always look forward to sitting in the front of his class ready to learn everything. However, my college algebra professor is, with all due respect, a more old schooled instructor. He does crack a few jokes from time to time but he s mostly serious. He is very focused because in math one flaw, no matter how small, can cause the answer to be wrong. Challenges We Overcame A challenge that we faced with our coffee shop was making the staffing decisions. Around the beginning of the simulation, we had a nice amount of servers which resulted in us receiving an award for best staff. After we extended hours, things seemed to go downhill with our staff. As a result, this had an effect on the overall service of the workers. They were not as happy or productive as we had hoped. Our managers were becoming stressed out and our servers were being overworked and even a couple of our servers quit. This lead to us hiring more servers, another manager and giving our managers a raise. These necessary adjustments were a must in our attempt to increase productivity. We also thought that by giving the managers a pay raise, it would make them feel appreciated and motivate them to work. Recognition is what is needed to inspire employees to do their best. ... • 21. The Role Of Independent Agencies And The White House Staff... The modern American presidency is defined as the presidency s transition to the center of American governance. Distinct from typically passive and isolated presidencies during the 18th and 19th centuries, the modern American presidency of the mid 20th century set the use of power and popularity as precedence. The transition to the modern presidency can be understood through the development of the presidency s institutional, international, and perceptual identity. In this essay, I will argue that the increasing role of independent agencies and the White House staff that spearheaded executive policymaking led to a significant institutional change to the presidency. I will also argue America s expanding international function in response to globalization placed the presidency, responsible for foreign policy, in a newly found position to exercise power. Finally, I will argue that the public perception of the presidency as a living reality (Reedy, p. 10) shifted it from a peripheral political entity to one at the center of policy discussion and leadership. In this essay, I will present examples of the modern presidency in the attributes of administrations from Franklin D. Roosevelt through John F. Kennedy, as well as evaluate scholarly models that contextualize how attributes of these administrations shaped the modern presidency, such as John Burke s Institutional Presidency, Aaron Wildavsky s Two Presidencies, and George Reedy s American Monarchy. You need to be prepared to drive in a world where rules are an abstract concept, and are rarely applied. Here is the process I went through to obtain my driver s license, and how I barely achieved a goal that was very important to me. Before I could even think about driving myself to school, I had to obtain a learner s permit for 6 months. Most teenagers earn their learner s permit at 15 and a half, their parents give them $365 to go to driving school for 2 weeks, and then they have their license at 16 years old. That was not the case for me. My parents were not as supportive of me nor as excited as most parents would be for their teenagers to get their driver s license. I was unable to earn my permit until I was 16. When the long and torturous 6 months of me driving with my mother were finally over, I simply asked my parents if they could financially help me out with driving school. They never had the money for those kinds of things. That meant it was all up to me to be independent and get a job. At seventeen years old I had enough money to take to the Springfield School of Driving and place a deposit to start my classes. The direction required me to read the Parable of the Good Samaritan in at least two different versions of the Bible. Therefore, I decided to read this passage with New International Version, The Message by Eugene Peterson, English Standard Version, and Korean Revised Version. I decided to read in Korean as well because I wanted to have better verbatim understanding of the passage. After reading the passage for three times in each version, I reflected on my role as a Christian and my understanding of a neighbor. Reading through this passage, the definition of neighbor for me is one who is in need of help. My role as a Christian is embedded in Luke 10:37. In the passage, a man who was attacked by robbers needed help. The neighbor to the wounded man in the passage was The one who had mercy on him (Luke 10:37, NIV). In this translation of the Bible, the role of the neighbor is one who have mercy on others. When I reflect on the word mercy , I think about God s Grace on us. Most recently, China has made a political decision to deploy missiles on Woody Island in the South China Sea, an island that is very close to the Philippines and Taiwan. China claims that the island belongs only to China and no one else, but there are Vietnamese, Philippine, and Taiwanese claims on the islands in the South China Sea as well that China is ignoring that is creating unrest in the South China Sea. China s claim on the islands in the South China Sea for themselves and the creation of artificial islands are very important to me because China is violating international law and the claims of other nations. As a result of this, if China was to disregard the claims that Vietnam, Taiwan, and the Philippines have on the Paracel chain islands in the South China Sea then a war might take place between China and the allies of the U.S. such as, Taiwan and the Philippines. If war was to break out between China and the allies of the U.S. it is very likely that the U.S. will send forces to assist its allies in war. Because I am eighteen ... • 30. Nature Methaphors in The Battle of Issus and Starry Night... Since the beginning, nature has been one of mans many inspirations. It is used to convey emotions and bring meaning in many ways in art. During the Northern Renaissance Albrecht Altdorfer was one of the most distinguished painters known for his expressively detailed landscapes. The Battle of Issus done by Altdorfer focused on nature to further amplify Alexander s victorious battle. Three hundred and sixty years later, the Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh creates a work that also showed how nature can bring emotion and significance to his painting Starry Night. The Post Impressionism artist Vincent Van Gogh created his masterwork Starry Night in 1889. Unlike the painting of Altdorfer, this painting was more personal and had the conflict of man vs. himself. The painting of Starry Night took place in France while he was in the care of the Saint Remy of Provence Psychiatric Hospital. Van Gogh yearned for a life that was calm and harmonious during his seemingly never ending depressive state. In Starry Night Van Gogh s point of view is omniscient as well but, he detaches himself even further. He Van Gogh creates a night sky embellished by the swirling of its clouds and the illuminating blaze from its stars. He uses lines that are arabesque in continuation that creates a fluid like design over the work making it harmonious. Located below the dynamic sky is a row rolling hills in which the artist used different tones to create a sense of depth in his work by the use of atmospheric perspective however, the painting still has a look of flatness. The hills lead the eyes to a small calm inviting town created using simple shapes. The church in the valley towers over all the homes as if it was a guardian. The tall steeple of the church is not able to touch the magnificent sky however, there is an eerie cypress tree in the foreground it is able to touch the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 32. The Three Types Of Drama In Ancient Greek Drama Ancient Greeks used drama as a way of investigating the world they lived in. There are three genres of drama: comedy, satyr plays, and most important of all, tragedy. Greek tragedy and Greek comedy formed the cornerstone of modern theatre. While comedy was mainly a way to mock men in power for their vanity and foolishness and satyr plays on the other hand were short plays performed between the acts of tragedies and made fun of the plight of the tragedy s characters, tragedy dealt with the big themes of love, loss, pride, the abuse of power and the fraught relationships between men and gods. Tragedy is a form of theatre with poetic elements, which was originated from Ancient Greece and it reached its most significant form in Athens in the 5th century BC. At the early years of Ancient Greek tragedy, the plays, which started in the morning and ended in the evening, had only one male actor, who performed wearing a costume and a mask. The actor was speaking to Corypheus, the leader of a group of 12 to 15 actors, called chorus that was only allowed to sing and dance. Each actor, after playing one character had to switch his mask and his his costume and then reappear on stage as a different character. The Ancient Greek ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

As defined by Jean Hardisty in the article From the New Right to Neoliberalism, Neoliberalism is the economic, social, and political analysis that best describes the startlingly unequal distribution of wealth and power in the U.S. today. In other words, everything that is wrong with our government today is a product or effect of Neo Liberalism. Because of Neoliberalism, the people who are rich and in power remain and in power and actually continually get richer while the unfortunately, the poor stay poor and have little to no way to climb the ladder of equality.
