N2Africa works to develop public-private partnerships in Africa to promote sustainable agriculture. The document describes N2Africa's partnership process, which involves mapping value chain actors, defining roles, designing frameworks, and implementing agreements. As an example, N2Africa has partnerships in four regions of Ethiopia that involve farmers' cooperatives and unions working with private companies on input supply, production, and market access for over 120,000 smallholders. The goal is to ensure the long-term transfer of knowledge about and adoption of nitrogen-fixing legume technologies.
