Introduction
Peste des petits ruminants (PPR) eradication
in low- and middle-income countries requires
participation of small ruminant keepers. The
evaluation of the knowledge, attitudes, and
practices of the main beneficiaries of control
strategies is an important component.

Burkina Faso, Mali, and Senegal as part of
the Epidemiology and Control of Peste des
Petits Ruminants (Eco-PPR) project
implementation.
▪ Intra-household interviews conducted in
2,250 households from each of the 15
selected departments/provinces of the 3
countries (map below) from January-
August 2021.
▪ Targeted men and women respondents in
pastoral and agro-pastoral production
systems.
