My Questionnaire Results

 From the five people that
answered my questionnaire, I had
three females answer it and two
males answer it. This shows that
there is about an even mix of
people that watch horror films.
 From the five people that answered
my questionnaire, I found out that a
majority where 17 years old and there
was one 18 year old. This shows that
more younger adults/teenagers
watch horror movies.
Age
 From the five people that
answered my
questionnaire, I found out
that all of them were
students and one stated
they were also a waiter.
This shows that people
that are still in education
watch horror films.
Occupation
 From the five people that
answered my questionnaire,
I found out that many had
similar hobbies. Playing
sports and listening music
were the most popular
hobbies. There was also
shopping and seeing friends.
Hobbies
 From the five people that
answered my
questionnaire, I found out
that a majority of people
enjoy horror films because
of the suspense they
create. They also enjoy
the tension they create.
Other reasons are that
they make you jump and
just because they like
being scared.
What do you like about horror films?
 From the five people that answered
my questionnaire, I found out that
there was basically an even split of
what films people enjoyed. Three
people enjoy paranormal horror
films and two people like
psychological horror films.
What is your favourite type of horror
film?
 From the five people that
answered my questionnaire, I
found out that the suspense it
creates appeals to certain
people. I also found out
montages, cliff hangers, a
good storyline and good
setting appeals to the
audience.
What makes a horror film trailer
appeal to you?
 From the five people that
answered my questionnaire, I
found out that a majority of
people expect to see the main
characters in the trailer. They
also expect to see a brief
outline of the story and
montages are very popular.
What would you expect to see in a
horror film trailer?
 From the five people that answered
my questionnaire, I found out that a
family home was the most preferred
location for a horror film. One
person said they enjoy horror films
in a isolated place.
What is your favourite setting for a
horror film?
 From the five people that
answered my questionnaire, I
found out that the most
appealing character in a horror
film is children. Zombies,
families and psychotic
characters where also popular.

  • 2. Gender  From the five people that answered my questionnaire, I had three females answer it and two males answer it. This shows that there is about an even mix of people that watch horror films.
  • 3.  From the five people that answered my questionnaire, I found out that a majority where 17 years old and there was one 18 year old. This shows that more younger adults/teenagers watch horror movies. Age

  • 5.  From the five people that answered my questionnaire, I found out that many had similar hobbies. Playing sports and listening music were the most popular hobbies. There was also shopping and seeing friends. Hobbies
  • 6.  From the five people that answered my questionnaire, I found out that a majority of people enjoy horror films because of the suspense they create. They also enjoy the tension they create. Other reasons are that they make you jump and just because they like being scared. What do you like about horror films?
