-Building a data base for all company field production, process key parameters and operating
conditions, chemical consumption, monitor the daily variation, investigate the causes and
response to the plants Operation.
-Building plans for the plant configuration changes and/or modifications in order to match the
foreseen mode of operation, production profiles or/and products specs updates, through the
optimization of existing facilities utilization and/or installing new ones.
-Perform debottlenecking studies by Proceed continuous process simulation for current and
foreseen changes and/or modifications using Aspen HYSYS.
-involved in the conceptual design of Ras Gara zero flaring project including the choosing of the
optimum recycle gas compressors, finding optimum Piping routs to the SAGP plant and verifying
the capability of the plants for handling the new capacity.
- Issued a technical/feasibility study to improve the performance of El Gamil gas treatment plant
by utilizing waste heat produced from No. 4 frame five turbines for heating the raw condensate
and produce power for plant consumption and for export to national grid by using of organic
Rankine cycle.
-perform a verification study for No. 14 shell and tube heat exchangers for El Gamil gas
treatment plant after rich gas reallocation to the LTS units by using Aspen HYSYS and HTRI.
-Participate in the basic design of El Gamil gas treatment plant liquid production increase to verify
If the existing liquid facility can accommodate the future liquid increase and to solve the frequently
plugging of the condensate boiler coils caused by water carry-over.
-perform a verification study for No.35 offshore well flow line in terms of erosion velocity according
to API RP 14C criteria using Aspen HYSYS.
-involved in preparing the SOP (stander operating procedures) and EOP (emergency operating
procedures) for Abu Madi and El Qar’a LPG recovery plant and accountable for lock out and tag
out of all PSV’s and BDV’s for the previous mentioned plants safety improvement.
-participate in El Gamil plant HAZOP study for the onshore new and existing plants, and offshore
platforms.
-develop process flow diagrams (PFD) and process and instrumentation diagrams P&ID’s using
AutoCAD Plant 3D suit.
-accountable for NOOROS field development plan, making a short term and long term plan to
accommodate the production through an existing or a new gathering network to the existing
facilities. A flow assurance study was performed using PIPSIM and OLGA to verify the criticalities
of the system, pipeline sizing, transportation capacity vs. the pressure, glycol injection and
hydrate issue, erosion velocity and slug catcher sizing.
