2. Job Duties and Responsibilities :

Production and Process Operation Engineer:
- ROLE AND SCOPE:
- Supervises monitors control and co-ordinate the operation of production facilities on Oil to ensure safe and
efficient operation and ensure the Company's oil production targets are met in terms of quality and quantity. Coordinates the routine / planned maintenance activities, including issuing work permits for maintenance jobs, shutting-down / starting up additional equipment to ensure that plant's operations are not interrupted.
- ORGANISATIONAL RELATIONSHIP / LATITUDE:
- Daily contacts with work associates and operations personnel up to oil Team Leader level to discuss production plan
targets, productions plant operating activities and operating procedures.
- Daily contacts with maintenance personnel within oil operation team up to Supervisor level for implementation, coordination and progress of maintenance activities.
- Occasional contact with personnel in Commercial division at equivalent level to discuss Chemical requirements.

- WORK PERFORMED
- Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervision : Directs, control and supervises the activities of assigned personnel involved in operating the oil production facilities, including starting up / shutting down the oil treatment units and production wells, first line maintenance, housekeeping, etc.
- Operations Activities : i) Monitor wet Steam ( 80% quality) injection with Steam crew in the flooding or cyclic wells.
ii) Monitors and supervises through the Local Control Room facilities the operation of crude production/treatment plants to meet the Company's oil production targets in terms of quality and quantity.
iii) Supervise the preparations of oil equipment for routine, break down and planned maintenance activities as per established procedures.
iv) Troubleshoots minor operation problems and reports major problems and emergencies to Oil Operation Team Leader with proposed solutions.

vii) Try optimizing Tubing pumps production by using SAM VSD.
