Project : Sohar Refinery Improvement Project.

Engineering, Procurement and Construction activities associated with Modification of existing
facilities and provision of additional facilities.The main scope of work involves Sulphur Recovery
Unit, Sour water Stripping unit, Amine regeneration Unit and utilities.
Project : Alrar Inlet Separation and Boosting Facilities.
Client : SONATRACH, ALGERIA.
The Alrar field is an existing gas and oil field located in the Illizi Basin in South-East Algeria.
The field has been in operation since 1987 and is depleting. SONATRACH is the sole
owner/operator and proposes to extend the life of the gas field by adding new Inlet Separation
and Booster facilities, adding new infrastructure to support those facilities and modifying the
gathering system
Project : KOC – Effluent Water Injection
Client : Kuwait Oil Company (KOC)
Engineering, Procurement and Construction activities associated with the brown field facilities
were taken up to enhance the capacity of Raudhatain and Sabriyah oilfield reservoirs through
treated effluent water injection in addition with treated sea water injection. The facilities
associated with the Central Injection Processing Facility (CIPF), modifications in gathering
centres (GC), Sea Water Treatment Plant (SWTP), pipelines and associated utilities were the
major scope of this EPC contract.

Engineering, Procurement and Construction activities associated with the brown field facilities
were taken up to fuel gas and gas oil pipelines from Mina Al Ahamadiya to Al Zour and Gas Oil
pumping station.

Engineering, Procurement and Construction activities associated with installation of 140km 40”
fuel Gas pipeline from BS-140 to Mina Al Ahamadiya refinery.
II. Sep 2010 to April 2011 worked for Egyptian Propylene and Poly Propylene Company, Egypt
as Senior Process Engineer.
UHDE PDH Plant, situated at Port Said, produces Propylene from Propane feed. The Process uses UHDE’s
licensed process which involves catalytic dehydrogenation of propane and downstream separation of
Propylene. The plant consists of UHDE STAR Reformer, Oxy-Reactor, Gas compressor, Gas
Dehydration unit, BASF Gas Sweetening unit, 3 Phase separators, Distillation columns, Cold Box,
Expanders, and Refrigeration unit.
 Review of Plant Commissioning, O&M Manuals and Performance test procedures.

downstream separation of Propylene.The plant consists of Continuous Catalyst Regeneration
unit (CCR), Fired Heaters, Cold Box and Expanders, PSA, Vent Gas Treating unit, H2S Removal
system, Centrifugal Compressors, Distillation Columns, Regenerating Driers and Refrigeration
unit.
 Actively involved in the Pre-commissioning and Commissioning of UOP Propane
dehydrogenation Plant (PDH) costing US$1 Billion.
 Review of Commissioning Plan and Participation in daily commissioning meetings.
