It is located on a 58-hectare site in Jurong Island Singapore. With, investment value of US2.4Billion, JAC will be one of the largest integrated aromatics plants in the world Maintenance Engineer (Static & Inspection) 1) Engineering & Maintenance a. Repair and replace steam tracing lines b. Repair and replace choked sprinklers for all 49 tanks (Internal Floating Roof/Spherical/Intermediate) c. Replace damage insulation on heaters due to water ingress cause by poor cladding d. Maintenance of portable water tank (repair/cleaning) e. Pump failure during operations, fabricated pipe re-route from 120-P3 to 100-P16 (Install temporary piping to ensure continuous pumping of caustic) f. Installation of furmanite clamps to arrest leaking flange g. Installation of C-Channel and I-Beams to strengthen base of vibrating pipes h. Jetty loading arm vacuum breaker swap 2) Inspection a. UTG inspection of interconnecting pipeline (Jetty to JAC) for SCDF license renewal – calculate remaining life for individual pipes (ASME B31.3/API 570) b. External inspection on piping/surrounding structures (after 800-TK1B tank fire) c. Inspection of hydrotest on new pipeline, lifting equipment/lifting machines with MOM registered AE/PE
- 2. d. Inspected all17 OSBL tanks converted to free-venting and obtain measurements for submission to Vocano and supply group to prove all 17 tanks are deemed free venting e. Inspected N2 Blanketed internal floating roof tanks with HMT Tape installed except for Benzene tanks and provide feedback for repair work (Aluminum strap was installed to secure HMT Tape) f. Inspection of water tank with PUB registered license plumber to obtain yearly license for plant wide use g. UTG Inspection of the 24” and 36” pipes from JAC to JRC corridor with SembCorp 3) Chemical/Catalyst/Clay – Loading/Unloading a. 431-V3A/B – Clay Treater b. 300-V8A – Alumina Change-Out c. 322-R2 – Catalyst Loading d. R650 Chemical Injection e. De-hazer EC5459A Chemical Injection f. DHDT Chemical Injection g. Merox WS Chemical injection 4) Projects/MOC a. 800-TK1B Tank Demolition b. Excavation to extract 8 Leaking U/G PIV’s for repair c. Assist to co-ordinate and supervise all U/G HDPE firewater pipe repair d. PVRV weight change out (Pressure Side) - MOC e. Cursory steam blowing - MOC 5) Documentation & Mics a. To provide static team with overall activities (daily updates) for critical jobs b. Represent static team for daily morning meeting c. Draft a supporting letter to MOM for EVT approval d. To provide JAC with supporting documents to Vocano to obtain approval for 17 OSBL tanks to be deemed free-venting for supply group e. Update documents & drawings for discrepancies in line number for inter-connecting pipeline f. Updated master list of lifting equipment in JAC g. Review of quotation and provide comparison for its terms and conditions h. Provide report/supporting documents for every maintenance work done in JAC i. Verify material purchased by JAC (Heat Number etc.)
