My chosen genre

- 2. My target audience • The target audience for this genre will be teenagers and young adults ages 16-25 • These are my target audiences due to the fact they listen to this type of music a lot.

How my artists will be represented • The artists will be represented in an urban culture by this I mean they will have back stories to how they used to be average young people from poor backgrounds who wanted to change their lives. • The clothing will be related to the forms and tones of hip hop and how other artists have been shown to wear in hip hop music videos.
- 4. Which conventions will I follow • The conventions I will follow will be with the style of costuming: Gold chains, • As I am using male artists in my magazine they will be represented by wearing hooded coats and baggy trousers and t-shirts. This is commonly represented a lot in the hip hop culture. • The masthead will be in red font because this is seen a lot in hip hop magazines as well as have my artist wear something designer or outstanding that the audience can admire them.
