These results show me
that more than 90% of my
responses are from the
younger part of my target
audience, so the
magazine is more likely to
suit the needs of that
particular age bracket.
However some responses
were from the middle of
my target audience.
4. Question 3: What is your favourite colour?
These results show me
that the most prefered
colour was blue, with
purple and green being
the other most popular
choices. This results in
those colours being the
most likely to be used in
my colour scheme for
the magazine as my
target audience prefer
those colours.
5. Question 4: Who is your favourite band/artist?
These results show me
that 70% of people prefer
other bands compared to
the suggested ones,
however Bring me the
horizon had the highest
response out of the
suggested bands. This will
result in me including a
little amount of information
relating to Bring me the
horizon and most of the
magazine including other
different bands as my
audience prefer other
bands.
6. Question 5: How often do you buy a music magazine?
These results show me
that over 80% of my
target audience are more
likely to not purchase a
magazine in the other
time periods, however
monthly got the highest
response compared to the
rest. This will result in me
publishing my magazine
every month or possibly
more as that is what will
suit my target audience.
7. Question 6: What music magazines do you like?
These results show
me that KERRANG
received the most
positive feedback
compared to the
other magazines.
This will result in my
magazine taking
inspiration from the
KERRANG layout as
my target audience
have a positive view
on KERRANG.
8. Question 7: Would you prefer a male or female on the front
cover?
These results show
me that my target
audience would prefer
a group on the front
cover compared to an
individual artist. 65%
of people voting for a
band will result in my
front cover having the
full band on but only if
appropriate to my
magazine.
9. Question 8: What do you prefer in a magazine?
These results show me
that posters are the
most prefered option in
a magazine compared
to the other options. The
second most prefered
option is reviews within
the magazine, this
means that my
magazine will be
focused on providing
reviews with posters
available as that is what
my target audience
would prefer to see.

me that more than
50% of people
would prefer a
smaller amount of
pages within a
magazine. This will
result in me
creating a
magazine including
less than 100
pages as that will
suit the
needs/desires of
my audience.

images compared to
text within a magazine.
This will result in me
including more images
compared to text within
my magazine as my

result in my magazine

audience would pay
