This research provides guidance on content, design, pricing, and format for the new magazine.

This question will be useful to ensure that my magazine suits the
needs of my target audience which is 16 to 25. My results, as
demonstrated in the pie chart, show a clear lead with 50% of
the answers being 21-25. The second most predominant age
was 16-20, which also falls into my target audience. This

•
I asked this on my questionnaire as it is important to know whether
male and females want the same content in a metal music
magazine, as my magazine will be targeting both. Mostly males
answered my questionnaire. The research allows my planning to
suit the needs of a gender neutral magazine.

4. What amount, per month, would
you pay for a magazine?
•
This question allowed me to get an insight on a fair price to
charge for my magazine, while knowing the common prices due
to my previous research. Interestingly, there is no predominant
option; £2.01 - £3.00, £3.01 - £4.00 and £4.01+ are all 30% whereas
£1.01 – £2.00 is 10% and below £1.00 was not chosen. This shows
me that they expect to pay over £1.00 for it and would even pay
past £4.00 for it.
