Q8 What do you like about the music magazines you are
reading?
Series 1
From the research I gathered I will definitely make sure that I
add all these into my magazine contents page, I will also add a
lot of images because from my research that is what most
people find easy to understand.
10. Q9 What do you dislike about the music magazines you
are reading?
adverts
too many images
too much text
After asking 20 people, 12 people didn't like reading too much
content/pointless content, 2 people didn't like the page to be full of
images and 6 people didn’t like seeing adverts. For my magazine I am
going to use this to make my magazine the best for my audience, I will
focus on not putting pointless content in my magazine that doesn’t
really relate to the article, because this is the main area that people
don’t like about a music magazine.

From my research I am clearly able to identify my top
competition which is NME, this means that in some parts

to differentiate itself from any other magazine on the

Images Text
Q15 Do you prefer more text or more images in a music
magazine
From the research that I have gathered it is clear that a lot
more people prefer images to text this means that I am going
to add images to my contents page, but from the research
that I received in Q9p people don’t want the page to be
completely covered in images, so I will only place a couple on
each page of my magazine.
