Plant Growth Lesson PlanLets Tell A Story through Pictures<br />Analyze Learners<br />General Characteristics:  The students enrolled in this science class are of the third grade and of the ages between 11 and 13 years old. This is a public school within the central region, therefore the diversity of cultures amongst the students vary from students of Asian, Micronesian, and Caucasian descent. The class size consists of 8 boys and 12 girls equaling to the total of 20. One student has a disability of Mental Retardation.<br />Entry Competencies: The unit of stories began last week. Their was introduction to the different elements that make up a story, and the different types of genres. The students were also introduced to fictional and non fictional stories, while practicing to develop their own story.<br />Learning Styles: The class consists of verbal and visual learners; hands on activities draw attention and motivation. Also detailed instructions are needed for 10% of the students with Learning Disabilities.<br />Objectives<br />Students will be able to:<br />Develop a story line within a group of 5 people
Take digital photographs to interpret the scenes of the story.
Use an computer based media tool to edit their work
