3. Most Useful Tool
Can take students on otherwise impossible field
trips.
Can show experiments, illustrate complex concepts, or
animate literature.
Can reach children with a variety of learning
styles.
4. Allows me to use video clips from my iPhone or iPad.
Simple to use and can incorporate stills as well.
Lots of online tutorials to help in every aspect.
Easy to upload and publish right from my phone to
YouTube.
5. Gained a broader scope of how technology plays a role
in today’s classroom.
Gained confidence to begin publishing my own
multimedia excerpts.
Learned of several online and app forms of editing
tools.
Had fun playing around with the different tools.
(After all…doesn’t that may learning more enjoyable).
6. Working within the confines of my own technology.
Finding a meaningful way to relate to the assignment
(since I am just starting to return to substitute teaching).
Overcoming my own insecurities.
8. Pros Cons
Work at your convenience
Able to connect with
teacher/class 24/7
Limitless amount of resources
No personal interaction
Not my strongest mode of
learning
Overall, the pros outweigh the cons. I would enroll in
another Moodle class.
9. This course gave me the tools to enrich my teaching
in the future.
I still have much to learn, but that is the joy of internet
tools. They are continuously evolving as well.
Thank you to Mr. Kiker and all those who offered their
insights and assistance.
