According to Oxford Dictionary (2011),
multidisciplinary is combining or
involving several academic disciplines
or professional specializations in an
approach to a topic or problem.
MULTIDISCIPLINARY APPROACH TO
    EDUCATION IN MALAYSIA

1. In 1994, subject Science and Local Research combine
     together become one subject called as Human Nature

2. In Form 4, students given options to choose science
     stream or art stream
.
3. Students in primary standard one is compulsory to study
     subject history combining with subject Civic.
Multidisciplinary Approach in Foreign
              Countries

• In Finland, Aalto University is a multi-disciplinary
  university that brings together the University of Art and
  Design Helsinki (TAIK), the Helsinki University of
  Technology (TKK) and the Helsinki School of Economics
  (HSE), and was formally inaugurated in January 2010.

• In United Kingdom, institutions at UK embed the design
  into science and technology and introducing creativity
  and team-working into management and business
  education.
Advantages                     Disadvantages
