Most Memorable Experience Essay
Crafting an essay on the theme of a "Most Memorable Experience" is both a challenging and
rewarding endeavor. The difficulty arises from the inherently personal nature of the topic,
demanding introspection and the ability to articulate emotions and thoughts with clarity. Unlike
more objective topics, this essay requires the writer to delve into their own memories, navigating
the vast landscape of experiences to pinpoint one that stands out above all others.
The challenge lies not only in the selection of a memorable experience but also in the storytelling
process. Effective narration demands a delicate balance between engaging the reader and
maintaining authenticity. The writer must convey the significance of the chosen experience,
capturing the essence of the moment in a way that resonates with the audience.
Furthermore, the challenge extends to the emotional vulnerability that such an essay may entail.
The writer must be willing to open up about personal experiences, exposing themselves to
potential scrutiny or judgment. This vulnerability, while challenging, can also be a source of
strength, as it allows for a deeper connection between the writer and the reader.
The difficulty in writing a "Most Memorable Experience Essay" is also rooted in the subjective
nature of memory itself. Memories can be elusive, and the challenge lies in accurately conveying
the nuances of an experience that may have occurred in the distant past. The writer must grapple
with the limitations of memory, striving to present a vivid and authentic portrayal.
Despite these challenges, the process of writing such an essay can be incredibly rewarding. It
provides an opportunity for self-reflection, allowing the writer to revisit and make sense of
significant moments in their life. Additionally, successfully conveying the essence of a
memorable experience can evoke powerful emotions in the reader, creating a shared connection
through the written word.
In conclusion, crafting a "Most Memorable Experience Essay" is no easy feat. It demands a
careful balance of introspection, storytelling, and emotional vulnerability. However, the rewards
are significant, as it offers a chance to explore and share the profound moments that shape our
lives. For those seeking assistance with similar essays or other writing tasks, a reliable resource

Expository Essay on Texas Hold Em Poker
To any sports fan, names such as Babe Ruth and Joe Namath are synonymous with
gods, geniuses and pioneers in their respective sports. However, amongst poker
players; the name Doyle Brunson can often be referenced in the same manner as the
Lord in Church. Brunson, now an old man with gray balding hair and more money
than he could count, is still to be found at one of the many pokertables in the oasis in
the desert we call Las Vegas. In fact, Brunson is so good, about twenty years ago
he wrote a book to strengthen his competition. The book Super System is
considered to be the poker bible as well as the foremost learning tool used by
professional poker players. To this day it is the greatest publication on No Limit

Community cards are cards that the whole community can use and there is five of
them. Together will your two hole cards whoever makes the best five card hand
wins. In regards to the community cards, they are dealt face up in the middle of
the table. The first three cards dealt are known as the flop, then the turn and finally
the river. The river is your last chance to catch the card you have been waiting for
to make your hand a winner. Before and after the flop as well as before and after
the river there are rounds of betting. The first two people to the left of the dealer
must place a forced bet called the blind. Blinds are to assure there is always money
in the pot. In order to see the flop everyone must call the amount of the blind or
fold depending on their hole cards. There are four ways to bet, Check, Raise, Fold
and Call. Checking means you are betting nothing and passing bet to the next
player. Raising is obvious, it means you are putting more money into the pot.
Folding is when you do not want to call or your cards are so bad you don t even
want to check. And finally, calling is when you match the raise made by another
player to see the next card. You have all four options to choose from except when a
player has bet before you and then you cannot check.
In order to make the best five card hand you must take a minute to learn how the
hands rank. All of these can be winning hands but I will list
The Progressive Montessori School System
Perhaps it was an unintentional cruelty on the part of my parents to enroll me first
in the progressive Montessori school system that encouraged critical thinking and
creativity, followed by an evening catholic school program that required
unquestioning obedience to a monolithic religious dogma. When I began the sixth
grade the window of an English professor and a family friend gave me access to his
extensive library and personal text notes because of my growing interest in
literature. In the first few months of my library visits, the Catholic program phoned
my mother to discourage my further attendance in both the church and the
educational program. I had begun incessantly probing my young Catechism
instructor about the faith, and his unsatisfactory response had prompted my
protests and refusal to participate in any religious ceremonies or sacraments. I had
discovered both the Antichrist and Civil Disobedience during my forays into the
library, and though I was unable to grasp the intricacies of these texts, the basic
messages resonated with my experiences of perceived oppression and religious
conditioning. The library was my Pandora s Box, and it allowed me to escape into
places and ideas far removed from what I thought to be a banal existence in a small
historic village in the Appalachian Mountains. My youthful rebellions, and
inquisitiveness, though often misguided and misplaced, were not to be tempered in
my adult life. As a high school student I was emboldened by an

was in Shopra Elkhiema electrical power station, Figure 1 shows the noise spectra
measured at control rooms, laboratories and offices within frequency range of 16

laboratories and offices is usually generated from the air conditioning or ventilation
system, turbines, transformers and water pumps which presents in the station. Table

The Theory And General Strain Theory
A theory is described, as an idea or set of ideas generally intended to explain, to
prove facts or events. Theory can be an idea that is suggested or presented as
possibly true, that is not an ideas that relates to a particular subject (Merriam Webster,
2015). Theory is an explanation of something. Theories in criminal behavior explains
why an individual commits criminal and delinquent acts. This paper will compare
and contrast two theories of crimeor criminal activities that was discuss in this course.
The two theories identified are Strain theory and General strain theory. Strain
theories are indicated when certain strains or stressors are increased, there is a
probability for a person to commit a crime. According to Robert Merton, strain
theory is a form of adaptive problem solving behavior that is committed in response
to problems involving frustrating and undesirable social environments
(Schmalleger, 2011). Strain results from an individual failure to achieve one s
goals, such as money, status/respect, autonomy, loss of a positive (death of a
friend or love one), and loss of value possession. Strain can be thought of as
pressure that individuals feel to reach socially determined goals (Agnew, 2015). A
person who experience these strains become upset, which they may turn to crime in
an effort to cope. By doing so, crime may be an escape or reduction for them to
escape this feeling.
Historically in 1960s and 1970s, the thoughts of several criminologist such as
Articles on Cows and Methane Gas
Article Summary of articles on Cows and Methane Gas Summary: Imagine a cow
polluting our atmosphere all the time? It is a very real possibility. According to the
article, Methane emissions from cattle , cows produce anywhere from 250 to 500
liters of Methane per day. Although they aren t currently polluting as much as cars,
that doesn t mean they won t eventually. Many might think that cows emit more
methanegas from flatulence (or farting) but they actually emit more from belching.
(1) This problem is an important issue around the world. In 2003 New Zealand
even tried to put a tax on cow flatulence. In New Zealand cows and other livestock
produce 34% of their greenhouse gasses. It is said that by 2030, the percentage of
gas created by cows could be up by 60%. A cow is a type of animal called a
ruminant. Ruminants eat their food and throw it up as cud. After they have thrown
it up as cud they eat it again. Cows have four stomachs that they use for digestion
and they digest similarly to humans. The stomach of a cow is filled with bacteria
that helps them digest foods. Those bacteria also create massive amounts of
methane. (1) Scientists are searching hard to find a way to stop or reduce the gases
cows give out. The Carbon Farming Initiative even offers farmers money and other
incentives if they feed their cattle a certain way. They want cows to be eating more
tannins or oil. Tannins help lower the amount of methane significantly. Cows have an

The U.s. Marine Corps
The U.S. Marine Corps is thought to be one of the five free standing military
departments, but in all actuality there is only three departments. The U.S. Army, U.S.
Air Force, and the U.S. Navy are the only branches of the military that are correctly
recognized as their own departments. There are two other Branches of the military
that are under the U.S. Navy, one is the United States Marine Corps. They were
created to protect, but now they need protecting from budget cuts and disbanding. In
order to protect the Corps , they need to become their own U.S. Department, with
their own funding and supplies.

There is the Infantry that has been nicknamed the Grunts of the Marine Corps .
The Corps contains jobs from mechanics to recruiters, from Combat to desk top
jobs, but unlike some Branches of the Military all of the Marines go through the
same boot camps. The Marine Corps has a twelve week required boot camp. When
the New Marines, also known as Pullies, first arrive to either Paris Island or Sand
Francisco, they have one scripted phone call to allow their families to know that
they made it safely. For the first two weeks the new Pullie, cannot have outside
communications to family or friends. When those two weeks are up they are then
aloud to send letters, but they have to earn the credits to purchase the stamps and
such needed. At the end of the eleventh week the Pullies go through what is called
Hell Week, where they are not allowed to sleep for two days and nights, and still
much preform at maxim compasity. When they are finished with their boot camp
training they are allowed to see their family for a short amount of time before they
graduate. After their graduation they have a ten day leave before they have to eather
be deployed or continue on to a Marine Occupations Specialty School, MOS school.
The Marine Corps budget for the MOSs comes from the Navy. Contrary to popular
belief the Marine Corps does not have their own funding from the U.S. Navy
(Odom). When the U.S. Navy s budget gets cut they do not
Structural Failure And Its Effect On The Building
Architects need to aim to have structurally sound buildings in order to prevent loss
of money, supplies, and most importantly, loss of life. Structural failure occurs
when a structure or structural member is unable to perform its intended purpose.
This usually happens because of outside forces that the structure was not equipped
to handle. Different causes for failure may be miscalculations of loads, incorrect
materials, unskilled workers doing the construction work, or improper site analysis.
Too often the site s weather is overlooked, and possible natural disasters, and the
loads and stresses they effect on the building, are not planned for. When designing
for earthquakes, the structure needs to be able to twist and sway with the ground.
For tornadoes, the structure needs to be secured to the ground and have impact proof
glass. When designing for buildings that will come in contact with large amounts of
water, the structure needs to either be airtight, or sit above the predicted waterline.
One of the worst things is when the reason for failure is understood, but then is
allowed to occur again out of want for a lower cost or quicker finish date. Thankfully,
many design and construction regulations are in place nowadays in order to help curb
any structural failures that might occur when designing or while on the construction
site. In the case of the AlexandriaLighthouse, the building was not designed to be
able to withstand multiple earth tremors and excessive water damage,
Small and Medium Enterprise
INTODUCTION Small and medium enterprise(SME s) in India have a very
important place in the Indian economy. Their contribution in terms of production,
export, export, employment generation and all round growth of the country is well
known. The role of SME sector in the nation building is well recognized not only in
India, but also across the globe. The industrial engines of Japan, china, US, Germany
and Taiwan are also driven by the SME sector. Finance/credit is the most critical
component in any business process. Any industrial sector cannot work to its full
capacity without adequate flow of funds. The SME sector is working with low
capacity utilization, which, however, has now improved from 33.34% to around 52%
percent. Still these... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Nevertheless, the spread of SMEs is a fact, which enhances their attraction from a
national or regional policy. SIGNIFICANCE OF SMEs SMEs are considered the
engine of economic growth in both developed and developing countries, as they:
Provide low cost employment since the unit cost of persons employed is lower for
SMEs than for large size units. Assist in regional and local development since
SMEs accelerate rural industrialization by linking it with the more organized urban
sector. Help achieve fair and equitable distribution of wealth by regional dispersion
of economic activities. Contribute significantly to export revenues because of the
low cost labour intensive nature of its products. Have a positive effect on the trade
balance since SMEs generally use indigenous raw materials. Assist in fostering a self

various lending and skill enhancement schemes. Impart the resilience to withstand
economic upheavals and maintain a reasonable growth rate since being indigenous

The major problems in the map that he made were the streets labels; they were all

The Importance Of Plagiarism In Writing
Choices Plagiarism is when you take any form of writing and make it your own
without giving proper credit to the owner. You can also be plagiarizing if you use
some of your old work without the teacher knowing you did so. In universities across
America about Вѕ of people are involved in some kind of academic dishonesty
(Heckler, Rice, and Bryan 229). Many students have different reasons as to why
they had to cheat on an assignment and they range from not having enough time,
not getting the sufficient information from the teacher or for the assignment, and
sometimes some students also say that the teacher almost gives them no choice
(Puka). RO In The Words [Be sure this text is properly titled in your writing] the
main character is struck with an important realization; that his writing will never
be as good as the owner of the manuscript he found. In a simple confusion between
him and his wife he makes a split moments decision and decides that he will take
ownership of the manuscript. His wife pushes him to show it to someone and he
ends up giving it to a publisher. Months pass by since he has given it and he almost
forgets about it until the publisher comes back and tells him he loves the book and
he wants to publish it. Years pass by and the man is now very well known author
and has made a name and money off of someone else s manuscript and no one but he
knows what he has done. One day this old man confronts him about what he has done

Quality Checks
To manage and maintain safe working practices, management should carry out quality

Quality standards are sought after by sports organisations that can use the
achievement of high standards to promote the safety of their facility
Safety checks
Safety checks should be carried out to eliminate the risk of putting the safety of
people attending a sporting event at risk.
A football stadium could carry out safety checks in a number of areas, prior to a
match, to ensure its health and safety procedures are in place. A pro forma
checklist should be provided and should link directly to standard operating
procedures/safe systems of work. Safety checks carried out include ensuring that: *
Fire escapes are clear * First aid boxes are full * Steward ratios to spectators are
correct * Steward duties and rosters fully
God Is Sending A Rescue Mission For You
When Allister set eyes on him, deep concern for his well being overtook him. It was
evident that Tank had not taken a shower and was unshaven for several days.
John had called Allister and told him that Tank asked him to prepare a will for his
signature. He also knew that for a long time Tank felt guilty and worthless igniting
Allister s alarm. He plucked up the courage and asked him.
Tank, you wouldn t think of doing anything rash, such as hurting yourself? Would
you tell me if you came to that place? God is sending a rescue mission for you. Just
hold on a little longer.
Tank knew that if he ever did come to the end and gave up, he wouldn t tell anyone.
He would just find a quiet place and do it in silence.
I m nowhere even close to that, Allister.
He should have spoken to his friend about the recovery of his repressed memories
about his past with Ellie. Instead, Tank took the opportunity to ask Allister for a
second opinion about the lights in his apartment. His question he calculated to draw
Allister away from his concerns.
Allister, what is your understanding on all the talk floating around the churches about
Orbs of Light? The sophistication of his question took Allister aback. It worked and
carried him far away from any idea that Tank was even remotely self destructive.
Why are you asking about that Tank? It s a rather strange question.
I have been seeing them in my apartment for the past few of weeks.

Domestic Violence Analysis
Safety is a powerful word. It is a word that can be described as the mental emotion
of being in a state of protection. This protection is most commonly provided by a
significant other, or a place where you feel warmth and a sense of security. This
place is most commonly called home. However, this is not always the case. Over
half a million Australian women reported that they had experienced physical or
sexual violence in the past 12 months. While this is a substantial amount, reports
reveal that one in three domestic violence victims are male. This proves that there
is a possibility of every one of us being at risk of experiencing domestic violence.

Working in domestic violence, Dennis has focused on the effects of domestic abuse
and the way it impacts the workplace and those around the victim. I have worked to
educate business leaders and others to understand that domestic violence is not just
a personal matter in which we should not be involved; rather it has a profound
impact on our ability to get out jobs done, and everyone needs to see it exists, name
it for what it is, and respond appropriately when it occurs . With this statement we
can be assured that Dennis, as a member of the Catholic religion that he believes that
everyone needs to be educated and acknowledge the effects of domestic abuse.
With this in mind Dennis is questioned on what he wishes in regards to how the
Catholic Church should react in response to domestic violence, this was his response.
Pastors, priests and Catholic leaders speak out on this important issue on a regular
and continuing basis. Dennis gives suggestions such as incorporating programs in
Catholic schools, this ensures youth to be educated to recognize the signs of abuse in
relationships. This will help their fellow students, parishioners and themselves to
respond appropriately to assure the safety of the victim in a way that is consistent to

Women s Rights And Equality
Although women s rights and equality is progressing in the United States, there are
progressing countries trying to achieve their overall gender index rank, which
measures the human development of a country. From 2006 to 2014, Egypt s
inequality gender gap index rank has increased significantly from 109 to 129 out of
173 countries of the world (Bekhouche, Hausmann, Tyson, Zahidi). During Ancient
Egypt, women and men had the same rights to resources such as personal health,
work, and education. But today, Egyptian women are suffering from sexual assault
and sexual harassment everyday.

As defined by the World Health Organization, female genital mutilation is a process
that alters and causes pain to the female genital organs, usually for non medical
reasons. Although this practice is banned and illegal in most countries, this is still
happening behind doors in Egypt for traditional reasons.
The problem with modern Egypt is that women s rights have been deteriorated
over the decade. Today, sexual harassment has become a social norm in Egypt. It
does not matter if the victim is young, old, married, not married, or dressed
appropriately because they will become a victim of sexual harassment. Since
sexual harassment and assault is being silenced and overlooked around Egypt, it is
slowly becoming socially acceptable to do this act. Because of FGM, women
cannot control or have a say of what they can do with their own body. It also causes
long term effects that will harm their health in the genital area. In order for women
and girls to feel safe in Egypt, sexual assault needs to be recognized and laws
against it should be appropriately enforced by free resources and help, and fix the
streets of Egypt by adding a police force. Also, FGM should not be overlooked
because even though there is a law against it in Egypt, it is still happening behind
closed doors and creating an unhealthy procedures for girls and women.
One of the best solutions to stop sexual harassment and assault is to have resources
and help regarding those two
The Impact Of The Tang Dynasty On China
China, one of the world s first civilizations. Today, it is widely known for it s
cultural and technological advances. China has a captivating and rich history. China
s rulers known as emperors had a long rein over China. Approximately 2000 years
expanding over thirteen dynasties. Out of those dynasties, the Tang was the most
glorious of all. First off, the Tang dynastyhad the greatest impact on Chinabecause it
greatly influenced in China s peace and prosperity, and was even referred to as the
Golden Age . The silk road was thriving between the east and west, causing the
economy of the empire to improve. Along with the establishment of the Tang
Dynasty (618 907) and a great prosperity in the economy, the Silk Road rose to its
peak in history. Before the An Lushan Rebellion (755 762), this world famous road
experienced its Golden Age of development, (TravelChinaGuide). The empire of
China was peaceful and celebrated; which meant everyone, peasants and even the
emperor, were content and happy.
Another reason that the Tang dynasty was the greatest is its many incredible
achievements. Some of these achievements include the development of medicine and
astronomy. One example of medicinal advancements is the smallpox vaccination that
was developed. In addition to the smallpox vaccine, they also discovered the source
of diabetes, The study of medicine is one of the highest contributions of Tang

to betrayal. In the words of Paul Laurence Dunbar in the poem We Wear the Mask,
he believes We wear the mask that grins and lies, / ... This debt we pay to human
guile; (534: lines 1 3). This means that people hide his or her true emotions to
disguise what they are feeling. In the short story The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte
Perkins Gilman, the narrator throughout the story always hide what she was truly

In Gilman s short story the first symbol that occurs is the yellow wallpaper. When
the narrator entered the nursery where she was going to reside for the rest of her
stay, she states that the windows are barred and the yellow on the walls were both
flamboyant and lame (78). This is a representation of herself. She feels confined to
the sanctions of what society thinks a woman in that time period should do, hence
the barred windows. The yellow wall color represents her personality. She is a
person who has a very intricate and has a lot of original ideas but this side of her is
masked by the fact that she is a woman who cannot express herself to her full
potential. This symbol helps to move the story forward because it helps express
her individuality and a person she could be. On the other hand, in Poe s literary
work Montresor is described in a unique way. Poe wrote Thus speaking, Fortunato
possessed himself on my arm. Putting on a mask of black silk, and drawing a
roquelaire closely about my person, I suffered him to hurry me to my palazzo (15).
This quotation is describing the attire Montresor is wearing, which the author took
time to explain showing its significance. Montresor is portrayed wearing a black
mask with a cloak, which one can assume is black as well. Montresor is

Cambodian Refugee s and their adjustment to American Society One of the youngest
ethnic groups of Southeast Asians migrated to the United States during the mid 1970s
was the Cambodian population. They are considered one of the youngest generations
of immigrants in American society along with the rest of the Southeast Asians or
Indo Chinese; Vietnamese, Lao, and Hmong. All of the ethnic groups in the Cold
War era were seeking political asylum to the States from their respective homeland
caused by a Civil War spreading across Vietnam. Nearly hundreds of thousands of
Cambodians refugees fled to Thailand, Europe and other safe haven Asian countries
but majority had escaped to the United States. Unlike earlier Asian immigrants like

Therefore many fled, seeking political asylum during the reign. But prior to the event,
the American and Cambodian countries have already established a relationship with
one another. A small number of Cambodians lived in the Long Beach area where
Cambodian students attending schools such as California State University of Long
Beach (Kitano and Daniels 74). The presence of settled Cambodians within U.S. soil
attracted many of the 1975 refugees to the Long Beach area. Thus it sparked a huge
migration movement, but many foreigners faced even greater challenges in their new
home. It should be noted that measuring the demographics of the Cambodian
American community has historically been challenging; it is widely suspected that
the community is repeatedly undercounted by the Census Bureau. A 1992 report of
the Census Bureau identified several problems that lead an inaccurate count of this
particular ethnic group (Bunte and Joesph Cenus data). They include language
barriers, mistrust of strangers and the government due to the post traumatic effects of
the Khmer Rouge also known as, Pol Pot Syndrome and the unusual residence and
household composition as significantly affected Census counts. To sum it up, the
statistics are usually generalized as a whole to easily identify the migration patterns,
social behaviors and economic resources of the Cambodian Americans. The,
Speech On Surrogate Mother Surrogacy
SURROGATE MOTHERHOOD CHANGING PARADIGM IN INDIAN SOCIAL
SCENARIO
In all cultures of the world, motherhood is something which is considered to lie at the
heart of the meaning of love. The concept of a woman s love for her children is
viewed as the most powerful, ferocious, tender and unconditional love that exists.
Motherhood for Indian women is a psychospiritual phenomena and not just a
psychosexual one. This psychospiritual meaning of all the institutions of
socialization, particularly marriage of which a child is the outcome, makes the Indian
context different from other societies. The preparation for mother baby interactions
begin much before a woman actually attains motherhood. Now the term motherhood
is expanded to the surrogate motherhood, which means that a women helps women
i.e. if any women, couple cannot conceive on their own and want a baby, they now ...

of both (husband and wife) intended parents are implanted into the uterus of surrogate

TYPES OF SURROGACY
(i) Commercial surrogacy: The surrogate mother is paid over and above the necessary
medical expenses according to a contract between surrogate and intended parents.
(ii) Traditional surrogacy: Surrogate mother is artificially inseminated with the sperm
of intended father as sperm from a donor when the sperm count is low, in either case
the surrogate s own eggs are used.
(iii) Gestational surrogacy: In Gestational surrogacy the surrogate mother has no
genetic ties to the off spring. Eggs and sperms are extracted from the donors
(intended parents) and in vitro fertilized and implanted into uterus of the surrogate
The Quotation Of Church Going
The title of the poem is ambiguous because two different approaches can be
understood by Church Going . The title could refer to the visit of the church by the
speaker of the poem. But it also could refer to the fact that the religious custom of
going to church is in danger of disappear.
5 All the quotations of the poem Church Going are extracted from: Larkin, P. The

In the first stanza, the speakers enters the church after making sure there is no one

Comparing A Letter Home And Waiting For Dan
In the two passages A Letter Home and Waiting for Dan, protesters stand up for what
they believe in and make it known. There have been many occasions on this world
where unjust events caused protests to occur. In A Letter Home, Kara writes to her
parents about the angry students protesting at Kent State Universitybecause of the
Vietnam War. In Waiting for Dan, activists fought for equal rights for all races by
participating in the Freedom Ride. Between these texts, there are multiple similarities,
as well as differences.
To start off, one similarity the protesters had were that they both were letting the
government know that they were against the current events of their time. In Kara s
letter to her parents she writes, Many students ... Show more content on

. . Before he left, he justified his decision by saying the Freedom Ride would bring
the race issue to the forefront of American politics. In this particular example, the
reader learns that although the government had laws to say that segregation was
illegal, it was still practiced in Southern states. As a result, protesters had to express
themselves to the government. Another similarity between the protesters in the texts
is that they were both standing up for peace. During the Civil Rights Movement,
African Americans were violently treated inferior. Their petitions and rallies
struggled to stop the brutality so the environment would be more peaceful. In
Waiting for Dan, the text states, A group of African Americans and whites would
board buses and ride through the Southern states. Inside the bus, the whites would
sit in the back of the bus and the blacks would sit in the front. In this case, the
Freedom Ride represented the opposite end of segregation; where everyone was
equal. While these activists were protesting to end brutality towards blacks, students
at Kara s University stood up to stop the Vietnam War. Many college scholars were
angry because the U.S.
Global Climate Change And Creating A Sustainable
Energy...
Energy efficiency is a key step in reducing our impact on global climate change and
creating a sustainable energy future. Electricity production is the number one source
of greenhouse gases and the leading cause of industrial air pollution in the United
States. Most of our electricity comes from coal, nuclear, and other non renewable
power plants. Producing energy from these types of sources takes a severe toll on the
environment by polluting the air, land, and water supply. In order to stop polluting
the atmosphere and the environment around us, we must take action and implement
the use of renewable resources into our electricity grid and overall economy.
Renewable energycan be used to produce electricity with less environmental impacts

Power plants that use coal leak toxic metals into local groundwater and produce a lot
of additional waste. Gasoline that is burned in combustion engines emits large
amounts of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere thus contributing to climate change.
Natural Gas is mostly made up of methane, which is a lot more effective at trapping
heat than carbon dioxide, making it more problematic as a greenhouse gas (What
Are Non, 2013). There are also the impacts of nonrenewable resources in terms of
health risks for individuals living across the globe. Uranium, which is used in nuclear
power plants, can cause numerous health issues. Including, major birth defects and
abnormal heart, liver and kidney functions with overexposure (What Are Non,
2013). Also, coal miners that inhale dust can contract black lung disease, which
kills around 4,000 miners per year in the United States. Finally, there is the issue
of supply and demand as they are nonrenewable resources; once they are gone there
is no way to create new ones. Thus, they are more and more expensive as they are
used. Due to this and the price increase, the technologies that we use to make our
lives easier will become useless if the fuel that is used to power them ceases to exist.
If alternatives are not pursued and perfected, a shortage would result in chaos.
However, in order to achieve the switch from nonrenewable resources to renewable
resources, it is important to understand what it is. Renewable energy is energy
The Bourne Identity Critical Analysis Essay
A sense of belonging will often emerge from the connections made with people,
places, groups, communities, and the larger world. The Bourne Identity is a novel,
written by Robert Ludlum. The main character in this novel is Jason Bourne, a
broken man, not only in the physical, but also in the emotional and psychological
sense. Throughout the entire novel we see a man who is attempting to put the
pieces of his life back together after suffering from a sudden onset of amnesia.
There are several ways that this text relates to belonging and not belonging, all of
which become increasingly obvious as the novel progresses. Through the loss of
memory every aspect of an individual s sense of belonging is completely removed,
and as Bournestruggles... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
You came for me. You came back for me, and saved ... my ... life. This extreme turn
of events creates a connection between Bourne and Marie, one that time develops into
a very close and intimate relationship. She knew Jason Bourne, or the man called
Jason Bourne, and she held on to the decency she knew was there. Oh, God, how
she loved him so! . And then he would leave; she would never know when and he
could never tell her why. He owed her that; it would hurt deeply for a while, but the
ultimate pain would be far less than that caused by the stigma of Cain. Cain! Marie.
Marie! What have I done? This is an example of a narrative technique used
throughout the text. The author uses italics to show what Bourne is thinking, in
doing this a deeper connection is created between the reader and the character, by
revealing how Bourne really feels. This technique is used in other instances to show
Bourne s raw emotion and distress.
A man in the text know only as Carlos is another individual of whom Bourne has a
deep connection with. However, this connection and the sense of belonging that is
derived from it, is of a very different nature, to the one he shares with Marie. Carlos
is a central figure in Bourne s fragmented memory, however he cannot place where,
how or why he knows this man. Again the narrative technique using italics to show
Bourne s thoughts is used. Carlos. Find Carlos! God in heaven, why? Delta.
Hinduism And The Indian Culture
After reading the article, I think rituals have some basic structures of meaning, and
there are number of ways to show that rituals are meaningful. In the following thesis I
choose Hinduism as an example to show how rituals are meaningful, how it relates to
the living context of the Indian people, how the Indians enact the Hindurituals, and so
on.
India is a country full of mysteries and differences. It has a long history, a profound
yet unique culture, with diversified nationalities, races, religions, languages and a
huge population. The pursuit of secularism and inveteracy of sectarianism have
brought huge influence to the Indian society. As the mainstream culture in India,
Hinduism plays an important role in the Indian society and has dominated almost
2000 years of its history. Although in the following years since, the Indian culture
gradually becomes a combination of different races, religions and languages,
Hinduism still remains to be the key to dig into the development of the culture and
society of India.
First, the Hindu s worship of the imperishability of gods is the spiritual power for the
Indians faith and persistence in overcoming difficulties and obstacles in the long
history of development.
There are numerous gods in Hinduism, in which the most important ones including
the Creator Brahma, the Preserver Vishnu and the Destroyer Siva. Brahma created the

Privacy In Canada Essay
As a Canadian in today s society we believe we have a certain set of inalienable
rights. One of those rights that seem to be at the forefront of the 2015 Canadian
election is privacy. As Dr. Kent Roach and Dr. Craig Forcese state, privacy is, in
our society, the right to be left alone by the state. The Conservative upbringing of
Bill C 51 challenges the ideology around our right to be private, as well as our
government s role in the protection of Canadafrom threats of terrorism. The Harper
government essentially, will increase their role in national security to keep a
constant watchful eye on potentially harmful situations and end them before
anyone is hurt or killed. If passed, the bill would allow the government to arrest
anyone suspected of terrorism without that person even committing a crime.
Furthermore, the language used in the bill is extremely vague and makes one
question, where the line will be drawn? Will our basic rights to peaceful protest
and free speech be affected? Unfortunately perhaps they will. One of the most
concerning parts of the bill in regard to privacy is the fact that the government will
now be able to access several sensitive documents about citizens from top agencies
such as the Public Health Agency, Canadian Border Services Agency as well as the
Canadian Border Services Agency. Privacy is changing in Canada. This is a
landmark bill and as such it is creating quite a splash in the ongoing Canadian
Election.

Data management/customer privacy laws When it comes to data management the

The Common Types Of People
A very common thing for people of all ages to do is go online and try to find answers
for their symptoms. Sometimes they find answers to their questions or they find the
solution to their problem. Often times, however people research their symptoms and
end up paranoid and scared thinking there might be something seriously wrong with
themselves. While some people feel the need to find answers, others argue that the
internetisn t always as reliable as people like to believe.
There are many reasons why people look up their symptom and there are three very
common types of people that research their health problems. The first type being the
people that find good results and end in relief. This is because they realize that the
problems they re having aren t serious, or that the solution to their problems is fairly
easy to accomplish.
The second type is the people that have been diagnosed with an actual health problem
and go online to find answers to their question. Researching helps them to know
what to expect. It may help them regain a sense of control during a scary and
sometimes helpless time (Weiser). For this type of people knowing information
whether it be good or bad, helps them to feel comfort.
The third and what I personally think is the most common type is those that don t
have a lot of knowledge on their health issues. They don t know how serious their
problems really are, well because they aren t doctors to really know. These are the
type of people that google
Character Analysis of Emily Grierson Essay
The Character Analysis of Emily Grierson In William Faulkner s A Rose for Emily
the story is revolved around the character Emily Grierson. The story is told by the
townspeople where Emily lives. These people are attending her funeral and
pitching in memories and tales they remember from Emily s life. It is through the
collective voices and opinions of the crowd that the reader is able to interpret Emily
s struggles. With Emily Grierson s choices the reader can tell that she is a dependant

rejection lightly. Emily is a very dependant woman who can t take care of herself.

The townspeople felt bad for Emily and thought the reason for her craziness was
because her family had a history of it. Emily also waits three days before revealing
the death of her father. Emily allows the dead body of her father to lie in her home
rotting away. Another crazy action that Emily does is when she goes to the
pharmacy to purchase rat poison . When Emily goes to buy the arsenic she doesn t
tell the druggist what exactly she is going to use it for, but stares him down
making him feel uncomfortable. Miss Emily just stared at him, her head tilted
back in order to look him eye for eye, until he looked away and went and got the
arsenic and wrapped it up (213). One of the most extreme actions Emily performs
is being responsible for Homer Barron s death. But, after fully reading the story the
reader understands that Emily not only kills Homer but sleeps with his corpse.
What was left of him, rotted beneath what was left of the nightshirt, had become
inextricable from the bed in which he lay... Then we noticed that in the second
pillow was the indentation of a head. One of us lifted something from it, and
leaning forward, that faint and invisible dust dry and acrid in the nostrils, we saw a

Discussion of the Importance of Economic Factors in the Changing Nature of Jew
hating
At times of bitter distress, fury against him [Jew] breaks out and the plundered and
ruined masses begin to defend themselves against the scourge of God [1]
The religious based Jew hating, termed as Judeaphobia , existed during times of bitter
distress within society whereby Jews were often the victims of sporadic violence and
consequent restriction to their rights. Segregation was often considered the only
option creating the Pale of Settlement (Russia) which restricted the Jews to live and
work within this territory. These aforementioned elements of Jew Hating coincided
with pogroms and repulsions, thus ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In Prussia, for every 100,000 Jewish males, 519 went through higher education; for
a similar number of Catholic males, the figure was 33; for Protestants, 58[2]. It has
been estimated Jews owned 45% of banks by 1900 the biggest department stores in
Berlin and Hamburg were Jewish owned; yet still represented a mere 1% of German
population. Jews were considered to have taken advantage, rose beyond their position
and consequently caused the Depression that banished Germany into economic,
industrial ruin and bitter distress. Beforehand, the Jews had been the victims of
Judeaphobic sporadic violence during the famine of 1816 which produced a string
of pogroms and the Hep Hep! riots of 1819. The 1873 depression acted as a catalyst
for anti Semitic political parties which emerged during 1880s; one being that of
Georg von Schonerer, who gained backing from German farmers whose agriculture
was suffering economically. This ascertained the sheer economical effect in which
Jews had appeared to introduce into all sections of public life . This particular
economic crisis triggered off the change in Jew hating because the Jews had suddenly
risen to success, overpowering the Gentiles.
In contrast to Germany, the nature of Jew Hating in Russia in the 19th Century was

They have a sense of enjoying what they are doing and in turn this would lead to
their promotion or growth within the business or the relative field due to the love or
passion they have. An evident change in the dragging, below average work and

Respect
You firstly have to have respect for yourself before you can earn respect of others,
in saying this you have to see yourself as someone worthy of respect. This quality
of management includes consideration for other people s privacy, their physical
space and belongings. In the same light it also includes respecting different
viewpoints, philosophies, physical ability, beliefs and personality. Regardless of the
quality or standard of work of the employee, respect still has to be shown and the
corrective procedures should be followed where need be but negative criticism should
definitely not be tolerated.
From experience in my market existence I have gathered that i still have quite a bit
of learning to do before I will excel at being a high quality and effective manager.
When I measure my emotional intelligence up to what it effectively should be then I
can comfortably say that I am not too far off from where it should be. I do
understand that all humans bleed and have feelings therefore I base my decisions on
my judgement. I am to a great extent able to manage

the target intakes of the food groups, it appears that I would need to greatly
increase my consumption of food, as I only met the requirements of two of the five

accurate for me is because these recommendations reflect my age, gender, and
activity level. With these three considerations, exact serving sizes were created to
meet the recommended requirements, to prevent disease and promote health. The
recommended serving sizes would accurately provide the necessary vitamins and

How closely are you connected with those around you? How much do you rely on
your phone not just for communication but also for finding answers to questions or
even keeping a schedule? Have you consulted artificial intelligence about your
dating questions? We as a society have moved into this dependence on everything
technology, artificial, and social media. We would much rather message or post a
question about a certain topic than actually ask somebody in person. And it s not
just for convenience, as we become more and more dependent on social media,
texting, posting, and technology in general, we subconsciously continue to wear
down our ability to communicate and trust one another on a physical level. A
simple conversation with another person can go a lot further than an email or text

communication that simply does not have the lasting impression that a physical
interaction has? As stated by Sherry Turkle, in her article Flight From

Rhetorical Strategies In Jessica Grose

argues that while the men in our lives recently commenced taking on more of the

Adscititiously, her last verbalization in the article refers to her husband in a way that
emasculates the argument. While returning to the introduction s hook in the
conclusion is a frequently used strategy, Grose opts to return to her discussion of
her husband in a facetious way: Grose discusses solutions, and verbally expresses
there is a immensely colossal, untapped market ... for toilet scrubbing iPods. I bet
my husband would buy one. Returning to her own espousement and husband is an
appeal to ethos or personal credibility, and while that works well in the prelude, in
the conclusion, it lacks the vigor and solemnness that the topic deserves and was
given earlier in the article. Though Grose commences the essay by efficaciously
persuading her readers of the inequitable distribution of home maintenance cleaning
labor, she loses her potency in the terminus, where she most needs to drive home her
argument. Readers can visually perceive the quandary subsists in both her

Future Development of Telepathology
With telemedicine becoming so popular in the healthcare system, it is not
surprising that telepathology is also becoming more and more popular. Technology
has been, and continues, to improve on a regular basis. Telepathology is not a new
concept in the telemedicine arena. Even with the wide availability to doctors and
physicians, there has been a slow adoption of telepathology in everyday practice.
High operating and maintaining costs used to be the main reason physicians gave
for not accepting telepathology, but now most of the negative attitudes are
contributed to the lack of education and clear guidelines (Cross, 2002, p. 14) for
new incorporators of telepathology. There is no secret that the current system has
problems, including incompatibility within systems, and the expensive microscopes
that are dedicated to telepathology, but future developments are being researched
and produced to help offset the high costs. Low cost internet solutions,
videoconferencing, integrated digital pathology workstations, and virtual
microscopes are just a few of the developments in the works. Low Cost Internet
Solutions One of the most ideal situations for the future of telepathology would be
the creation of one universally compatible system that wouldn t require expensive
microscopes to be dedicated exclusively for the field of pathology (Cross, 2002).
Professor Peter Purness and Dr Jeremy Rashbass researched the vision described
above. They discovered that creating a new

After some research, I found out that cardinal sine could not be solved by elementary
means and that its integral was, in fact, a crucial part of the Gibbs phenomenon,
which will be expanded upon in the Applications section (Pg. 8) of this investigation.
My aim for this investigation is to prove the integral of cardinal sine to be sine
integral and to approximate five (5) values of the sine integral function. Afterwards, I
will show how this is relevant in both mathematics and other, more practical,
applications. Exploration In order to organize the mathematical exploration most
effectively, the exploration will begin with the following problem: Prove that
∫в
–’sinвЃЎx/x is equal to Si (x). Approximate Si (0), Si (ПЂ/6), Si (ПЂ/4), Si
(ПЂ/3), and Si (ПЂ/2) using a Taylor polynomial of order 3 at 0 for f(x) = Si (x). In
order to verify the results of the approximations, Wolfram Alpha, an online calculator
capable of processing the sine integral function, will be used.
To begin with, the Taylor series representation of the sine integral function is as such:
Si (x)=∑_(n=0 )^в€
ћв–’(( 1)^n x^(2n+1))/(2n+1)(2n+1)! At this point, it is
necessary to find the Taylor series representation of sinвЃЎx/x. First, the Taylor series
representation of sin (x) is:
∑_(n=0)^в€
ћв–’(гЂ–( 1)гЂ—^n x^(2n+1))/(2n+1)!
Therefore, sinвЃЎx/x is equal to:
1/x ∑_(n=0)^в€
ћв–’(гЂ–( 1)гЂ—^n x^(2n+1))/(2n+1)!
Which is equal to:
∑_(n=0)^в€
ћв–’(гЂ–( 1)гЂ—^n x^(2n+1))/x(2n+1)!

The Use Of Satire In Jon Stewart s The Daily Show
Satire is the use of humor and or sarcasm to expose bigger issues. Jon Stewart
addresses topics through his talk show on the Daily Show. He brings up important
arguments that are going on in our country and shows how ridiculous they are by
his use of humor. Through his political influence and controversial work, Jon
Stewart renewed the success of The Daily Show with his unusual use of satire that
connected with the younger generation. Before Stewart made his big break on the
Daily Show, he was a stand up comedian doing all shows that he could. This led
him to the network, Comedy Central, with his own show called The Jon Stewart
Show. After it failing, Stewart had the opportunity to replace Craig Kilborn on the
Daily Show, the proposal was outstanding and could not be passed up. Stewart
offered the show a faultless new outlook on comedy that Kilborn could not bring,
politics. The new content led to a spike in views from all ages. Due to his success
on the Daily Show, Marc Peyser and Sarah Childress from Newsweek wrote, The
program... is becoming the coolest pit stop on television. And it does it the hard
way. Unlike late night talk shows that traffic in Hollywood interviews and stupid pet
tricks, the Daily Show is the fearless social satire (D Angelo 534). Stewart s nature
of humor brought a new type of show that Comedy Central had never seen before. He
has the power to influence millions of people through his hour long segments.

Due to French history and tradition it was possible to gain a strong image in regard to
vinery and example, which can be highlighted might be the invention of Champaign.
The experience of France as a quality wine producer going back to the middle ages
can be regarded as a source of competitive advantage. Another source is the strong
wine culture in France creating a positive image for customers. The wine industry by
itself is a very important economic factor in France, in the mid 18th century the wine
industry accounted for 17% of the overall industry. As a consequence, in 1855 the
government classified wine yard into five different levels of quality. This helped the

4.
a. Australian Minister of Agriculture:
The labeling of wine according to regions in Australia has been already done but not
with protection by law. Tighten laws in relevance of how to label wines can be
beneficial in the long run when it comes to value creation, as can be successfully
recognized in France.
Simultaneously, a financially subsidy should support wine yards with their surplus
production hence the successful long term strategy Directions to 2025 , which
foresees value growth by 2015 and global leadership on the wine market by 2025
might be eased. This is necessary since Australia will cannot compete on price in the
long term bringing to mind low cost production countries such as Chile.
b. Australian wine industry association
Align marketing activities with the plan of Direction to 2025 . Support the Australian
s wine image from cheap and cheerful into a classified and recognizable labeling
scheme. It might be added that the new scheme can be restructured in a way that it
does not mix up psychographic targeting with regional ones, since this might be
confusing. The

Abigale Greedy Dance
Over the past several weeks, I have been working with a determined group of girls
to create a fun piece for a school dance battle. Abigale, Sophie, Kadey, Jesseca,
Libby and I put our heads together and formed an epic mashup. Our process, while
sometimes slow, will be beneficial to future projects. We ve shared ideas for
choreography, songs, and concepts to result in our 1 minute and 30 second piece.
The six of us wanted to choreograph a sassy routine that would be upbeat and
exciting. We decided to mash two songs together so we could use the element of
surprise to win our audience over. The song Greedy by Ariana Grande is bold and
lively. Abigale thought it would be perfect to cut the song before the chorus and
replace the rest with Cake By The Ocean by DNCE. In my opinion, this was a
strong decision because it opened some doors for us choreography wise. We were
able to manipulate the tone of the piece to social and uplifting than strictly sass and
jazz. While this was the basis of the dance,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

After realizing this song wouldn t be appropriate for a high school setting, we
went back to the drawing board. Two of our girls, Sophie and Abigale, attended
Showchoir Camps of America this summer. At this intensive, they learned a dance
to Greedy ; this was the main inspiration for our piece. From what I heard, it was
sassy and boisterous. While we didn t recycle the choreography (to my
knowledge), we wanted to include a similar dynamic. By putting all our energy
into the dance, we made the piece entertaining and upbeat. Another decision we
made was to use all the space provided. When possible, the six of us want to travel.
We are doing this all the time, except when travelling to our formations. Our process
for actually choreographing the songs took a bit longer than expected. I don t
believe this served us as a downfall; a lot of time was spent cleaning before moving

Development of a Lab-on-a-Chip Device to Detect DNA
Double...
Proposal Summary
We propose to develop a lab on a chip device for the detection of DNA double
strand breaks in situ. Current technology requires laborious manipulation of the cell
sample by fixation and staining with antibody and an optical based detection. All in
all, the process may take up to several days before results are retrieved. The
development of an on site, immediate monitoring system will greatly benefit our
understanding of DNA damage causes and prevention as well assessment of
radiation risk by tracking such events instantaneously. Our proposed device is
based on individually addressable carbon nanotube (CNT) array capable of
multiplexing for detection of multiple analytes and targets from a biological
sample. The impact of this device in our information based world is manifold. Not
only will the device make it accessible for the user to track, assess and follow trends
of their own DNA damage levels but also empowers the user in making more
informed lifestyle choices. Introduction
With rising urbanization, the DNA in our cells is increasingly being exposed to
DNA damaging agents such as UV light, mutagenic chemicals, reactive oxygen
species generated by Ionizing Radiation (IR) or redox cycling by heavy metal ions
and radio mimetic drugs etc. DNA Double strand breaks (DSBs) occur when
reactive oxygen species react with DNA bases causing lesions in the chromosomes
and the formation of foci known as Radiation induced foci (RFI). RFI are marked by

Social Change in a Network Society The Role of Information Technology in the
Formation of Social Networks
Contemporary society has built itself around new networks, both social and physical,
which allow for more and more information technology to facilitate interaction. How
will society instigate social change in a world where networks shape how we interact
and the technology driving these networks is shaped and controlled by a specific
group in society. The fact is, communication is increasingly dependent on information
technology, which has been monopolized by a relatively few, largely american
corporations. More and more information is produced and distributed at a global
level, by means of new forms of communications and media ... Show more content on

The emmergence of new social networks has been noticed throughout the world, and
organizations have sprung up to address these concerns. There are symposiums of
computer professionals addressing the affect of networks, along with the National
Communications Associaton, and in particular there is an online journal,
Connections which is devoted to social network analysis. One article in this journal
discussed the role of networks in matching political media opinions and perspectives
with individuals and their corresponding social groups. The article says that society s
concept of itself has been expanded and fractured by new social networks, and that
these social links can be analyzed to better understand societies inner workings.
Each individual, each social group, possesses a network of opinions on social
conflicts that are not arbitrary but tied to one another to form specific, coherent
networks whose ties show a strong resistance to deformation by external events.
Specific networks of opinions on social conflict can be associated with individuals
and social groups, and the network ties show strong resistance to change over time.
There is even the possibility of measuring the resilience of these network ties. (4)
The network ties refered to in this quote are increasingly reliant on information
technology, thus the strength of this technological infrastructure corresponds with the
Hilary Clinton Accomplishments Of President Bill Clinton

Cause Of Sports In Sports
See you at practice! most people will say this phrase to their friends throughout
childhood. Thirty six million children in the United States play a sport. That is over
half the children in the United States. However, even with that statistic, some
children still stay inside all day watching television or playing video games. Many
parents do not enroll their children in a sport because they believe it will result in
injury, or the childmay feel left out. Some even believe that their child will be
looked down upon if they are not as good as everyone else. They believe that if the
child has more time on schoolwork it will raise their grades. But most children love
to playoutside and learn new sports. It has always remained a part of a child s
nature to run around and have fun. Only some parents realize that children who
play a sport can have more discipline than those who don t. Sports can also give
children experience working with others as a team as well as confidence in
themselves. Children and teens who play sports have an increased likelihood to
possess higher confidence, act more disciplined, and work better with others.
Those who play any type of sport in their childhood can have a higher confidence
level. Confidence tends to reoccur as something that some kids and teenagers
struggle with while growing up. They struggle with who they are and their purpose.
Playing a sport can give a child a sense of accomplishment. They can set a goal and
then beating that goal

The rise of the Safavids in the 15th century led to the reestablishment of a unified
Iranian state and national identity,[4] which followed the country s conversion to
Shia Islam, marking a turning point in Iranian and Muslim history.[5][23] By the 18th
century, under Nader Shah, Iran briefly possessed what was arguably the most
powerful empire at the time.[24] The 19th century conflicts with the Russian Empire
led to significant territorial losses.[25][26] Popular unrest culminated in the
Constitutional Revolution of 1906, which established a constitutional monarchy and
the country s first legislature. Following a coup instigated by the United Kingdom
and the United States in 1953, Iran gradually became closely aligned with the West,
and grew increasingly autocratic.[27] Growing dissent against foreign influence and
political repression led to the 1979 Revolution, which followed the establishment of
an Islamic republic,[28] a political system which includes elements of a
parliamentary democracy vetted and supervised by a theocracy governed by an
autocratic Supreme Leader .[29] During the 1980s, the country was engaged in a
war with Iraq, which lasted for almost nine years and resulted in a high number of
casualties and financial loss for both sides.

The Strength Of An Induced Magnetic Field
Magnet Drop
Introduction
Throughout this report the strength of an induced magnetic field will be explored,
this will be achieved through dropping a rare earth magnet through an aluminum
tube and testing whether the velocity of the magnet will move at a constant rate and
whether the velocity of the magnet will continue to move at a constant rate once
more and more weight is added to the magnet, and discovering why the magnet
moves at a constant rate even when weight is added or whether the magnet moves at
a continuously accelerating rate as more and more weight is added. This will be
done by looking at various physics concepts these concepts include; Lenz s law,
Faradays law of electromagnetism, Newton s first law of motion, induced ... Show
more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Lenz s law can be seen to state that when a the north or south pole of a magnet is
approaching the nonconductive tube, the induced current flows in such a way as
to make the side of the tube that is nearest to the pole of the magnet to oppose the
approaching magnet. Upon withdrawing the magnet from the tube, the induced
current can be seen to reverse itself, and the near side of the coil switches poles to
produce an attracting force on the receding bar magnet. This effect can be seen in
the diagram below: From analyzing the above diagram it can be seen that the above
statements can be perceived in a far clearer manor as the effect of the induced emf
can be understood far more easily.
Furthermore Lenz s law also states that an induced current will only be formed if a
magnetic object is passed through the nonconductive tube or coil, which then creates
a magnetic field that is equal and opposite to the direction of the magnetic field as
stated above. However if the magnetic object is increased in velocity then the
magnetic field strength will also be increased, which can be seen to not only support
Lenz s law but also faradays law of electromagnetism
Lensky s Aria From The Opera Eugene Onegin
Lensky s Aria from the opera Eugene Onegin
A novel by Alexander Pushkin adapted for opera by Pytor Tchaikowsky in 1825
Arranged for flute and piano by Guy Braunstein; edited and revised by Emmanuel
Pahud in 2009
Performed by Emmanuel Pahud and Fuminori Tanada
As does any opera, Tchaikowky s Russian Opera Eugene Onegin portrays a
storyline overrun with tragedy. Eugene Onegin has inherited his uncle s estate
giving him access to acres of hunting ground on which he meets Lensky, whom he
becomes rather good friends with. The friendship does not last long however, as a
vast misunderstanding comes between them. Lensky had recently been engaged to
Olga, a neighbor of Onegin s, and finds himself incredibly joyful and very much in
love. Lensky sees Onegin dancing with his fiancГ© , and takes Onegin to be
attempting to seduce his fiancГ©, yet this is not the case. Onegin was only
dancing with Olga to be cruel to her younger sister Tatyana who has recently
expressed her love for Onegin. Lensky will not here of Onegin s explanation and
challenges Onegin to a duel. It is in the scene of the duel where Lensky performs
his aria. The aria is the last lyrical piece in the opera at the end of Act 2. The aria is
heard by the audience just before the battle and just before Onegin loses his life.
Lensky s Aria has been performed by many vocalists both on stage and as a solo
work accompanied only by the piano. The lyrics tell of how Lensky wishes he were
young again and had only

Most Memorable Experience Essay. My Favorite Memorable Experiences in Life: Essay Example, 478 words ...

  • 1. Most Memorable Experience Essay Crafting an essay on the theme of a "Most Memorable Experience" is both a challenging and rewarding endeavor. The difficulty arises from the inherently personal nature of the topic, demanding introspection and the ability to articulate emotions and thoughts with clarity. Unlike more objective topics, this essay requires the writer to delve into their own memories, navigating the vast landscape of experiences to pinpoint one that stands out above all others. The challenge lies not only in the selection of a memorable experience but also in the storytelling process. Effective narration demands a delicate balance between engaging the reader and maintaining authenticity. The writer must convey the significance of the chosen experience, capturing the essence of the moment in a way that resonates with the audience. Furthermore, the challenge extends to the emotional vulnerability that such an essay may entail. The writer must be willing to open up about personal experiences, exposing themselves to potential scrutiny or judgment. This vulnerability, while challenging, can also be a source of strength, as it allows for a deeper connection between the writer and the reader. The difficulty in writing a "Most Memorable Experience Essay" is also rooted in the subjective nature of memory itself. Memories can be elusive, and the challenge lies in accurately conveying the nuances of an experience that may have occurred in the distant past. The writer must grapple with the limitations of memory, striving to present a vivid and authentic portrayal. Despite these challenges, the process of writing such an essay can be incredibly rewarding. It provides an opportunity for self-reflection, allowing the writer to revisit and make sense of significant moments in their life. Additionally, successfully conveying the essence of a memorable experience can evoke powerful emotions in the reader, creating a shared connection through the written word. In conclusion, crafting a "Most Memorable Experience Essay" is no easy feat. It demands a careful balance of introspection, storytelling, and emotional vulnerability. However, the rewards are significant, as it offers a chance to explore and share the profound moments that shape our lives. For those seeking assistance with similar essays or other writing tasks, a reliable resource like HelpWriting.net can provide valuable support and guidance. • 2. Expository Essay on Texas Hold Em Poker To any sports fan, names such as Babe Ruth and Joe Namath are synonymous with gods, geniuses and pioneers in their respective sports. However, amongst poker players; the name Doyle Brunson can often be referenced in the same manner as the Lord in Church. Brunson, now an old man with gray balding hair and more money than he could count, is still to be found at one of the many pokertables in the oasis in the desert we call Las Vegas. In fact, Brunson is so good, about twenty years ago he wrote a book to strengthen his competition. The book Super System is considered to be the poker bible as well as the foremost learning tool used by professional poker players. To this day it is the greatest publication on No Limit Texas Hold `em... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Community cards are cards that the whole community can use and there is five of them. Together will your two hole cards whoever makes the best five card hand wins. In regards to the community cards, they are dealt face up in the middle of the table. The first three cards dealt are known as the flop, then the turn and finally the river. The river is your last chance to catch the card you have been waiting for to make your hand a winner. Before and after the flop as well as before and after the river there are rounds of betting. The first two people to the left of the dealer must place a forced bet called the blind. Blinds are to assure there is always money in the pot. In order to see the flop everyone must call the amount of the blind or fold depending on their hole cards. There are four ways to bet, Check, Raise, Fold and Call. Checking means you are betting nothing and passing bet to the next player. Raising is obvious, it means you are putting more money into the pot. Folding is when you do not want to call or your cards are so bad you don t even want to check. And finally, calling is when you match the raise made by another player to see the next card. You have all four options to choose from except when a player has bet before you and then you cannot check. In order to make the best five card hand you must take a minute to learn how the hands rank. All of these can be winning hands but I will list
  • 3. The Progressive Montessori School System Perhaps it was an unintentional cruelty on the part of my parents to enroll me first in the progressive Montessori school system that encouraged critical thinking and creativity, followed by an evening catholic school program that required unquestioning obedience to a monolithic religious dogma. When I began the sixth grade the window of an English professor and a family friend gave me access to his extensive library and personal text notes because of my growing interest in literature. In the first few months of my library visits, the Catholic program phoned my mother to discourage my further attendance in both the church and the educational program. I had begun incessantly probing my young Catechism instructor about the faith, and his unsatisfactory response had prompted my protests and refusal to participate in any religious ceremonies or sacraments. I had discovered both the Antichrist and Civil Disobedience during my forays into the library, and though I was unable to grasp the intricacies of these texts, the basic messages resonated with my experiences of perceived oppression and religious conditioning. The library was my Pandora s Box, and it allowed me to escape into places and ideas far removed from what I thought to be a banal existence in a small historic village in the Appalachian Mountains. My youthful rebellions, and inquisitiveness, though often misguided and misplaced, were not to be tempered in my adult life. As a high school student I was emboldened by an

Theory can be an idea that is suggested or presented as possibly true, that is not an ideas that relates to a particular subject (Merriam Webster, 2015). Theory is an explanation of something. Theories in criminal behavior explains why an individual commits criminal and delinquent acts. This paper will compare and contrast two theories of crimeor criminal activities that was discuss in this course. The two theories identified are Strain theory and General strain theory. Strain theories are indicated when certain strains or stressors are increased, there is a probability for a person to commit a crime. According to Robert Merton, strain theory is a form of adaptive problem solving behavior that is committed in response to problems involving frustrating and undesirable social environments (Schmalleger, 2011). Strain results from an individual failure to achieve one s goals, such as money, status/respect, autonomy, loss of a positive (death of a friend or love one), and loss of value possession. Strain can be thought of as pressure that individuals feel to reach socially determined goals (Agnew, 2015). A person who experience these strains become upset, which they may turn to crime in an effort to cope. By doing so, crime may be an escape or reduction for them to escape this feeling. Historically in 1960s and 1970s, the thoughts of several criminologist such as

According to the article, Methane emissions from cattle , cows produce anywhere from 250 to 500 liters of Methane per day. Although they aren t currently polluting as much as cars, that doesn t mean they won t eventually. Many might think that cows emit more methanegas from flatulence (or farting) but they actually emit more from belching. (1) This problem is an important issue around the world. In 2003 New Zealand even tried to put a tax on cow flatulence. In New Zealand cows and other livestock produce 34% of their greenhouse gasses. It is said that by 2030, the percentage of gas created by cows could be up by 60%. A cow is a type of animal called a ruminant. Ruminants eat their food and throw it up as cud. After they have thrown it up as cud they eat it again. Cows have four stomachs that they use for digestion and they digest similarly to humans. The stomach of a cow is filled with bacteria that helps them digest foods. Those bacteria also create massive amounts of methane. (1) Scientists are searching hard to find a way to stop or reduce the gases cows give out. The Carbon Farming Initiative even offers farmers money and other incentives if they feed their cattle a certain way. They want cows to be eating more tannins or oil. Tannins help lower the amount of methane significantly. Cows have an easier time with fiber

  • 8. Structural Failure And Its Effect On The Building Architects need to aim to have structurally sound buildings in order to prevent loss of money, supplies, and most importantly, loss of life. Structural failure occurs when a structure or structural member is unable to perform its intended purpose. This usually happens because of outside forces that the structure was not equipped to handle. Different causes for failure may be miscalculations of loads, incorrect materials, unskilled workers doing the construction work, or improper site analysis. Too often the site s weather is overlooked, and possible natural disasters, and the loads and stresses they effect on the building, are not planned for. When designing for earthquakes, the structure needs to be able to twist and sway with the ground. For tornadoes, the structure needs to be secured to the ground and have impact proof glass. When designing for buildings that will come in contact with large amounts of water, the structure needs to either be airtight, or sit above the predicted waterline. One of the worst things is when the reason for failure is understood, but then is allowed to occur again out of want for a lower cost or quicker finish date. Thankfully, many design and construction regulations are in place nowadays in order to help curb any structural failures that might occur when designing or while on the construction site. In the case of the AlexandriaLighthouse, the building was not designed to be able to withstand multiple earth tremors and excessive water damage,

In A Letter Home, Kara writes to her parents about the angry students protesting at Kent State Universitybecause of the Vietnam War. In Waiting for Dan, activists fought for equal rights for all races by participating in the Freedom Ride. Between these texts, there are multiple similarities, as well as differences. To start off, one similarity the protesters had were that they both were letting the government know that they were against the current events of their time. In Kara s letter to her parents she writes, Many students ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... . . Before he left, he justified his decision by saying the Freedom Ride would bring the race issue to the forefront of American politics. In this particular example, the reader learns that although the government had laws to say that segregation was illegal, it was still practiced in Southern states. As a result, protesters had to express themselves to the government. Another similarity between the protesters in the texts is that they were both standing up for peace. During the Civil Rights Movement, African Americans were violently treated inferior. Their petitions and rallies struggled to stop the brutality so the environment would be more peaceful. In Waiting for Dan, the text states, A group of African Americans and whites would board buses and ride through the Southern states. Inside the bus, the whites would sit in the back of the bus and the blacks would sit in the front. In this case, the Freedom Ride represented the opposite end of segregation; where everyone was equal. While these activists were protesting to end brutality towards blacks, students at Kara s University stood up to stop the Vietnam War. Many college scholars were angry because the U.S.
  • 24. Global Climate Change And Creating A Sustainable Energy... Energy efficiency is a key step in reducing our impact on global climate change and creating a sustainable energy future. Electricity production is the number one source of greenhouse gases and the leading cause of industrial air pollution in the United States. Most of our electricity comes from coal, nuclear, and other non renewable power plants. Producing energy from these types of sources takes a severe toll on the environment by polluting the air, land, and water supply. In order to stop polluting the atmosphere and the environment around us, we must take action and implement the use of renewable resources into our electricity grid and overall economy. Renewable energycan be used to produce electricity with less environmental impacts ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Power plants that use coal leak toxic metals into local groundwater and produce a lot of additional waste. Gasoline that is burned in combustion engines emits large amounts of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere thus contributing to climate change. Natural Gas is mostly made up of methane, which is a lot more effective at trapping heat than carbon dioxide, making it more problematic as a greenhouse gas (What Are Non, 2013). There are also the impacts of nonrenewable resources in terms of health risks for individuals living across the globe. Uranium, which is used in nuclear power plants, can cause numerous health issues. Including, major birth defects and abnormal heart, liver and kidney functions with overexposure (What Are Non, 2013). Also, coal miners that inhale dust can contract black lung disease, which kills around 4,000 miners per year in the United States. Finally, there is the issue of supply and demand as they are nonrenewable resources; once they are gone there is no way to create new ones. Thus, they are more and more expensive as they are used. Due to this and the price increase, the technologies that we use to make our lives easier will become useless if the fuel that is used to power them ceases to exist. If alternatives are not pursued and perfected, a shortage would result in chaos. However, in order to achieve the switch from nonrenewable resources to renewable resources, it is important to understand what it is. Renewable energy is energy
  • 25. The Bourne Identity Critical Analysis Essay A sense of belonging will often emerge from the connections made with people, places, groups, communities, and the larger world. The Bourne Identity is a novel, written by Robert Ludlum. The main character in this novel is Jason Bourne, a broken man, not only in the physical, but also in the emotional and psychological sense. Throughout the entire novel we see a man who is attempting to put the pieces of his life back together after suffering from a sudden onset of amnesia. There are several ways that this text relates to belonging and not belonging, all of which become increasingly obvious as the novel progresses. Through the loss of memory every aspect of an individual s sense of belonging is completely removed, and as Bournestruggles... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... You came for me. She knew Jason Bourne, or the man called Jason Bourne, and she held on to the decency she knew was there. Oh, God, how she loved him so! . And then he would leave; she would never know when and he could never tell her why. He owed her that; it would hurt deeply for a while, but the ultimate pain would be far less than that caused by the stigma of Cain. Cain! Marie. Marie! What have I done? This is an example of a narrative technique used throughout the text. The author uses italics to show what Bourne is thinking, in doing this a deeper connection is created between the reader and the character, by revealing how Bourne really feels. This technique is used in other instances to show Bourne s raw emotion and distress. A man in the text know only as Carlos is another individual of whom Bourne has a deep connection with. However, this connection and the sense of belonging that is derived from it, is of a very different nature, to the one he shares with Marie. Carlos is a central figure in Bourne s fragmented memory, however he cannot place where, how or why he knows this man. Again the narrative technique using italics to show Bourne s thoughts is used. • 26. Hinduism And The Indian Culture After reading the article, I think rituals have some basic structures of meaning, and there are number of ways to show that rituals are meaningful. In the following thesis I choose Hinduism as an example to show how rituals are meaningful, how it relates to the living context of the Indian people, how the Indians enact the Hindurituals, and so on. India is a country full of mysteries and differences. It has a long history, a profound yet unique culture, with diversified nationalities, races, religions, languages and a huge population. The pursuit of secularism and inveteracy of sectarianism have brought huge influence to the Indian society. As the mainstream culture in India, Hinduism plays an important role in the Indian society and has dominated almost 2000 years of its history. Although in the following years since, the Indian culture gradually becomes a combination of different races, religions and languages, Hinduism still remains to be the key to dig into the development of the culture and society of India. First, the Hindu s worship of the imperishability of gods is the spiritual power for the Indians faith and persistence in overcoming difficulties and obstacles in the long history of development. There are numerous gods in Hinduism, in which the most important ones including the Creator Brahma, the Preserver Vishnu and the Destroyer Siva. Brahma created the earth, the mortal world and the heaven, Vishnu safeguards the world and preserves the order and peace in

  • 28. Privacy In Canada Essay As a Canadian in today s society we believe we have a certain set of inalienable rights. One of those rights that seem to be at the forefront of the 2015 Canadian election is privacy. As Dr. Kent Roach and Dr. Craig Forcese state, privacy is, in our society, the right to be left alone by the state. The Conservative upbringing of Bill C 51 challenges the ideology around our right to be private, as well as our government s role in the protection of Canadafrom threats of terrorism. The Harper government essentially, will increase their role in national security to keep a constant watchful eye on potentially harmful situations and end them before anyone is hurt or killed. If passed, the bill would allow the government to arrest anyone suspected of terrorism without that person even committing a crime. Furthermore, the language used in the bill is extremely vague and makes one question, where the line will be drawn? Will our basic rights to peaceful protest and free speech be affected? Unfortunately perhaps they will. One of the most concerning parts of the bill in regard to privacy is the fact that the government will now be able to access several sensitive documents about citizens from top agencies such as the Public Health Agency, Canadian Border Services Agency as well as the Canadian Border Services Agency. Privacy is changing in Canada. This is a landmark bill and as such it is creating quite a splash in the ongoing Canadian Election. Perhaps to Harper s disdain the bill

This is because they realize that the problems they re having aren t serious, or that the solution to their problems is fairly easy to accomplish. The second type is the people that have been diagnosed with an actual health problem and go online to find answers to their question. Researching helps them to know what to expect. Technology has been, and continues, to improve on a regular basis. Telepathology is not a new concept in the telemedicine arena. Even with the wide availability to doctors and physicians, there has been a slow adoption of telepathology in everyday practice. High operating and maintaining costs used to be the main reason physicians gave for not accepting telepathology, but now most of the negative attitudes are contributed to the lack of education and clear guidelines (Cross, 2002, p. 14) for new incorporators of telepathology. There is no secret that the current system has problems, including incompatibility within systems, and the expensive microscopes that are dedicated to telepathology, but future developments are being researched and produced to help offset the high costs. Low cost internet solutions, videoconferencing, integrated digital pathology workstations, and virtual microscopes are just a few of the developments in the works. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... After some research, I found out that cardinal sine could not be solved by elementary means and that its integral was, in fact, a crucial part of the Gibbs phenomenon, which will be expanded upon in the Applications section (Pg. 8) of this investigation. My aim for this investigation is to prove the integral of cardinal sine to be sine integral and to approximate five (5) values of the sine integral function. Afterwards, I will show how this is relevant in both mathematics and other, more practical, applications. Exploration In order to organize the mathematical exploration most effectively, the exploration will begin with the following problem: Prove that ∫⠖’sinвЃЎx/x is equal to Si (x). Approximate Si (0), Si (ПЂ/6), Si (ПЂ/4), Si (ПЂ/3), and Si (ПЂ/2) using a Taylor polynomial of order 3 at 0 for f(x) = Si (x). In order to verify the results of the approximations, Wolfram Alpha, an online calculator capable of processing the sine integral function, will be used. To begin with, the Taylor series representation of the sine integral function is as such: Si (x)=∑_(n=0 )^в€ ћв–’(( 1)^n x^(2n+1))/(2n+1)(2n+1)! At this point, it is necessary to find the Taylor series representation of sinвЃЎx/x. First, the Taylor series representation of sin (x) is: ∑_(n=0)^в€ ћв–’(гЂ–( 1)гЂ—^n x^(2n+1))/(2n+1)! Therefore, sinвЃЎx/x is equal to: 1/x ∑_(n=0)^в€ ћв–’(гЂ–( 1)гЂ—^n x^(2n+1))/(2n+1)! Which is equal to: ∑_(n=0)^в€ ћв–’(гЂ–( 1)гЂ—^n x^(2n+1))/x(2n+1)!

Advice to the French Minister of Agriculture Help your producers sell their vine: provide more funds for marketing campaigns and fund workshops on how they can identify their target group and do targeted, cost efficient marketing 4. a. Australian Minister of Agriculture: The labeling of wine according to regions in Australia has been already done but not with protection by law. Tighten laws in relevance of how to label wines can be beneficial in the long run when it comes to value creation, as can be successfully recognized in France. Simultaneously, a financially subsidy should support wine yards with their surplus production hence the successful long term strategy Directions to 2025 , which foresees value growth by 2015 and global leadership on the wine market by 2025 might be eased. This is necessary since Australia will cannot compete on price in the long term bringing to mind low cost production countries such as Chile. b. Australian wine industry association Align marketing activities with the plan of Direction to 2025 . Support the Australian s wine image from cheap and cheerful into a classified and recognizable labeling scheme. It might be added that the new scheme can be restructured in a way that it does not mix up psychographic targeting with regional ones, since this might be confusing. The

  • 46. Abigale Greedy Dance Over the past several weeks, I have been working with a determined group of girls to create a fun piece for a school dance battle. Abigale, Sophie, Kadey, Jesseca, Libby and I put our heads together and formed an epic mashup. Our process, while sometimes slow, will be beneficial to future projects. We ve shared ideas for choreography, songs, and concepts to result in our 1 minute and 30 second piece. The six of us wanted to choreograph a sassy routine that would be upbeat and exciting. We decided to mash two songs together so we could use the element of surprise to win our audience over. The song Greedy by Ariana Grande is bold and lively. Abigale thought it would be perfect to cut the song before the chorus and replace the rest with Cake By The Ocean by DNCE. In my opinion, this was a strong decision because it opened some doors for us choreography wise. We were able to manipulate the tone of the piece to social and uplifting than strictly sass and jazz. While this was the basis of the dance,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... After realizing this song wouldn t be appropriate for a high school setting, we went back to the drawing board. Two of our girls, Sophie and Abigale, attended Showchoir Camps of America this summer. At this intensive, they learned a dance to Greedy ; this was the main inspiration for our piece. From what I heard, it was sassy and boisterous. While we didn t recycle the choreography (to my knowledge), we wanted to include a similar dynamic. By putting all our energy into the dance, we made the piece entertaining and upbeat. Another decision we made was to use all the space provided. When possible, the six of us want to travel. We are doing this all the time, except when travelling to our formations. Our process for actually choreographing the songs took a bit longer than expected. I don t believe this served us as a downfall; a lot of time was spent cleaning before moving onto the next

Current technology requires laborious manipulation of the cell sample by fixation and staining with antibody and an optical based detection. All in all, the process may take up to several days before results are retrieved. The development of an on site, immediate monitoring system will greatly benefit our understanding of DNA damage causes and prevention as well assessment of radiation risk by tracking such events instantaneously. Our proposed device is based on individually addressable carbon nanotube (CNT) array capable of multiplexing for detection of multiple analytes and targets from a biological sample. The impact of this device in our information based world is manifold. Not only will the device make it accessible for the user to track, assess and follow trends of their own DNA damage levels but also empowers the user in making more informed lifestyle choices. Introduction With rising urbanization, the DNA in our cells is increasingly being exposed to DNA damaging agents such as UV light, mutagenic chemicals, reactive oxygen species generated by Ionizing Radiation (IR) or redox cycling by heavy metal ions and radio mimetic drugs etc. DNA Double strand breaks (DSBs) occur when reactive oxygen species react with DNA bases causing lesions in the chromosomes and the formation of foci known as Radiation induced foci (RFI). RFI are marked by the

Social Change in a Network Society The Role of Information Technology in the Formation of Social Networks Contemporary society has built itself around new networks, both social and physical, which allow for more and more information technology to facilitate interaction. How will society instigate social change in a world where networks shape how we interact and the technology driving these networks is shaped and controlled by a specific group in society. The fact is, communication is increasingly dependent on information technology, which has been monopolized by a relatively few, largely american corporations. The emmergence of new social networks has been noticed throughout the world, and organizations have sprung up to address these concerns. There are symposiums of computer professionals addressing the affect of networks, along with the National Communications Associaton, and in particular there is an online journal, Connections which is devoted to social network analysis. One article in this journal discussed the role of networks in matching political media opinions and perspectives with individuals and their corresponding social groups. The article says that society s concept of itself has been expanded and fractured by new social networks, and that these social links can be analyzed to better understand societies inner workings. Each individual, each social group, possesses a network of opinions on social conflicts that are not arbitrary but tied to one another to form specific, coherent networks whose ties show a strong resistance to deformation by external events. Specific networks of opinions on social conflict can be associated with individuals and social groups, and the network ties show strong resistance to change over time. There is even the possibility of measuring the resilience of these network ties. (4) The network ties refered to in this quote are increasingly reliant on information technology, thus the strength of this technological infrastructure corresponds with the

  • 51. Cause Of Sports In Sports See you at practice! most people will say this phrase to their friends throughout childhood. Thirty six million children in the United States play a sport. That is over half the children in the United States. However, even with that statistic, some children still stay inside all day watching television or playing video games. Many parents do not enroll their children in a sport because they believe it will result in injury, or the childmay feel left out. Some even believe that their child will be looked down upon if they are not as good as everyone else. They believe that if the child has more time on schoolwork it will raise their grades. But most children love to playoutside and learn new sports. It has always remained a part of a child s nature to run around and have fun. Only some parents realize that children who play a sport can have more discipline than those who don t. Sports can also give children experience working with others as a team as well as confidence in themselves. Children and teens who play sports have an increased likelihood to possess higher confidence, act more disciplined, and work better with others. Those who play any type of sport in their childhood can have a higher confidence level. Confidence tends to reoccur as something that some kids and teenagers struggle with while growing up. They struggle with who they are and their purpose. Playing a sport can give a child a sense of accomplishment. They can set a goal and then beating that goal

The rise of the Safavids in the 15th century led to the reestablishment of a unified Iranian state and national identity,[4] which followed the country s conversion to Shia Islam, marking a turning point in Iranian and Muslim history.[5][23] By the 18th century, under Nader Shah, Iran briefly possessed what was arguably the most powerful empire at the time.[24] The 19th century conflicts with the Russian Empire led to significant territorial losses.[25][26] Popular unrest culminated in the Constitutional Revolution of 1906, which established a constitutional monarchy and the country s first legislature. Following a coup instigated by the United Kingdom and the United States in 1953, Iran gradually became closely aligned with the West, and grew increasingly autocratic.[27] Growing dissent against foreign influence and political repression led to the 1979 Revolution, which followed the establishment of an Islamic republic,[28] a political system which includes elements of a parliamentary democracy vetted and supervised by a theocracy governed by an autocratic Supreme Leader .[29] During the 1980s, the country was engaged in a war with Iraq, which lasted for almost nine years and resulted in a high number of casualties and financial loss for both sides. • 53. The Strength Of An Induced Magnetic Field Magnet Drop Introduction Throughout this report the strength of an induced magnetic field will be explored, this will be achieved through dropping a rare earth magnet through an aluminum tube and testing whether the velocity of the magnet will move at a constant rate and whether the velocity of the magnet will continue to move at a constant rate once more and more weight is added to the magnet, and discovering why the magnet moves at a constant rate even when weight is added or whether the magnet moves at a continuously accelerating rate as more and more weight is added. This will be done by looking at various physics concepts these concepts include; Lenz s law, Faradays law of electromagnetism, Newton s first law of motion, induced ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Lenz s law can be seen to state that when a the north or south pole of a magnet is approaching the nonconductive tube, the induced current flows in such a way as to make the side of the tube that is nearest to the pole of the magnet to oppose the approaching magnet. Upon withdrawing the magnet from the tube, the induced current can be seen to reverse itself, and the near side of the coil switches poles to produce an attracting force on the receding bar magnet. This effect can be seen in the diagram below: From analyzing the above diagram it can be seen that the above statements can be perceived in a far clearer manor as the effect of the induced emf can be understood far more easily. Furthermore Lenz s law also states that an induced current will only be formed if a magnetic object is passed through the nonconductive tube or coil, which then creates a magnetic field that is equal and opposite to the direction of the magnetic field as stated above. However if the magnetic object is increased in velocity then the magnetic field strength will also be increased, which can be seen to not only support Lenz s law but also faradays law of electromagnetism

Eugene Onegin has inherited his uncle s estate giving him access to acres of hunting ground on which he meets Lensky, whom he becomes rather good friends with. The friendship does not last long however, as a vast misunderstanding comes between them. Lensky had recently been engaged to Olga, a neighbor of Onegin s, and finds himself incredibly joyful and very much in love. Lensky sees Onegin dancing with his fiancГ© , and takes Onegin to be attempting to seduce his fiancГ©, yet this is not the case. Onegin was only dancing with Olga to be cruel to her younger sister Tatyana who has recently expressed her love for Onegin. Lensky will not here of Onegin s explanation and challenges Onegin to a duel. It is in the scene of the duel where Lensky performs his aria. The aria is the last lyrical piece in the opera at the end of Act 2. The aria is heard by the audience just before the battle and just before Onegin loses his life. Lensky s Aria has been performed by many vocalists both on stage and as a solo work accompanied only by the piano. The lyrics tell of how Lensky wishes he were young again and had only
