MOST (Media Oriented Systems Transport) is a network for distributing information within vehicles. It can connect up to 64 devices using three communication channels: a synchronous channel for audio, an asynchronous channel for packet data, and a control channel. There are two versions, MOST25 and MOST50, which differ in bitrate and frame size. MOST was founded by automotive companies including BMW, Daimler, and Audi to standardize in-vehicle infotainment networks.
