OBJECTIVE Seeking a challenging marketing role where I can showcase my creative and management aspects and also grow
professionally in way that will benefit both, the organisation and my career.
PROFESSIONAL
EXPERIENCE:
42 MONTHS
Evam Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., Chennai and Bengaluru, July, 2012 – May, 2013 - Evam is a theatre company based
in Chennai focussing primarily on stage shows and stand-up comedy. My role as a project manager was conducting
all projects assigned to me from conceptualization to execution and taking care of the PR activities of the company
as was directly reporting to the creative head and COO of the company.
EVAM ENTERTAINMENT
Project Manager
 Spearheaded the MetroPlus Theatre Festival, which had a footfall of close to 4000 people in Bengaluru and
Kochi.
 Spearheaded the OmniBus theatre festival, which was one month of continuous stage shows by Evam across
Bengaluru city.
 Mentored about 50 interns whom I recruited for these festivals/shows.
 Was solely responsible for all the PR activities of the company during my term.
 Helped set up the Bengaluru office and was in charge of Evam's Bengaluru operations
Learning One of the most important things that I learned during my stint at Evam was to think quick and be prepared for
anything. Being a start- up there weren't too many guidelines as to how to do things and new issues cropped up
regularly which had to be resolved immediately due to time constraints related to hosting shows. Coming from a
corporate background this approach was fairly challenging to me but taught me to think on my feet.
Ernst & Young, Bengaluru, Jan 2012 – May 2012 – Ernst & Young is a multinational professional services firm and is
one of the BIG 4 audit companies. My role as an HR consultant was to close requirements for different service lines
and find suitable candidates that fit the job description. I was given a deadline to fill in these positions which was
supervised by the Assistant Manager.
ERNST & YOUNG
HR Consultant
 Sourcing profiles for different service lines including Resource Management, Information Technology Risk &
Assurance, etc. and coordinating and scheduling interviews for the same
 Pre-screening candidates before the HR interview
 Conducting telephonic interviews, processing shortlisted candidates for further rounds of interviews and
interacting with the hiring managers to understand the skill requirement and criticality
 Was part of the campus recruitment team and conducted various interviews and helped coordinate the same
Learning My term in EY, although short helped me improve my interaction skills and learn how to assess people. It helped me
be more intuitive since my role required me to go through almost 100 resumes a day and pick the ones which suited
the role aptly. Needless to say it also taught me a lot of patience.
Goldman Sachs, Bengaluru, Apr 2009 – Jul 2011 - Goldman Sachs is a leading global investment banking, securities
and investment management firm and my position was that of an operations analyst in the commodities section of the
brokerage team. I reported directly to my team manager.
GOLDMAN SACHS
Analyst II
 Validation, allocation and payment of brokerage fees for commodities products and resolving queries from
vendors, brokers and internal teams
 Maintaining the General Ledger and P&L for commodities products and creating procedure documents and
updating them on quarterly basis.
 Represented the team for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and was a key driver in time reduction efforts hereby
bringing savings to the firm
 Assigning daily targets for the team and conducting weekly/monthly team meetings and sending out monthly
reports
 Trained my peers and new hires alike through refresher trainings and spearheaded team bonding activities on
the floor
Learning Being my first job, Goldman Sachs taught me everything I know about professionalism. From time management to
interacting with clients it instilled in me a sense of responsibility and ownership for my actions.

a Finance Project done as part of the University Curriculum. Duration: 45 Days

MARKETING INTERN
RADIO INDIGO 91.9
Project 3: “Promotion of Events leading to increase in footfall for Radio Indigo 91.9” A Summer Internship project
undertaken as part of Post Graduate Degree Curriculum Duration: 60 Days
 To get as much information as possible for my project I structured a questionnaire which was mainly focussed
on what kind of promotions drew in more customers and what more could the company do
 The sample size was 100 which were distributed in various colleges and business parks including Mount
Carmel College, Embassy Golf Links and RMZ.
 I also had the added responsibility of forming a barter system partnership with different schools and colleges
where they would make us their radio partner for a year which included all the events and fests. In return we
would give them a specified amount of time on the radio. The terms of the agreement were negotiable on a
case by case basis.
Findings
There is a huge market for live events in the city and social media plays a huge part in promoting these events.
Coming in a close second is word of mouth and the ambience. Radio Indigo needs to work on these aspects primarily
and if done right could make a niche for itself in the market of live events.
