Cinematography has the potential to be so much more than just a means to tell a
story. When applied correctly, cinematography has the capability of being like a
work of art hanging in a museum. Cinematography is also able to give a depth and

camera to merely exist, few professionals have mastered the skill and artistry that

started pouring into their countries, the foreign cinemas had to place tariffs and
restrictions on box office revenues being sent to America. And they even had to
place quotas on the amount of American films shown in foreign theaters. This

earned from the foreign market and Hollywood began to slowly decline. Overseas

Aerodynamics is known as the study of the different forces acting on an object and
the resulting motion of objects as they fly through the air. Today we know that
aerodynamics plays a major role in many sports, such as tennis, soccer, hunting, and

Like the drag, the amount of lift depends on several factors related to the
barometric conditions of the air and the shape of the object. Additionally the
velocity of the object and its relationship with the air plays a role as well. For a
spinning ball, the speed of rotation affects the magnitude of the aerodynamic force
and the direction of the force is perpendicular to the axis of rotation.
The orientation of the axis of rotation or spin axis can be varied by the pitcher
when the ball is thrown. If the axis is vertical, the lift force is horizontal and the
ball can be made to curve to one side. If the axis is horizontal, the lift force is vertical
and the ball can be made to dive or rise depending on the direction of rotation.
A baseball in flight is neither smooth nor symmetric because of the stitches. So the
center of pressure for a baseball moves slightly about the center of the ball with time,
depending on the orientation of the stitches. The lift coefficient Cl for the baseball
was finely determined by high speed photography of the flight of a pitched ball in
many laboratories.
The motion of the ball through the air depends on the relative strength and
direction of the forces. We will look at the pitching of a curve ball. The curve ball
problem involves all three forces with an additional force called the Magnus force.

Abstract
In this lab we looked at the mold on three different fruits in three different
environments to asses which fruit would have the most mold and in which
environment the mold would be present the most. For the experiment we used fruits
that were in season so that we could also compare organic and non organic fruit.
Because of this my group chose tomatoes, peaches and apples. We hypothesized that
peaches would rot the most out of each of the fruits and that the peaches would rot
the most in our warmest environment, the incubator. The fruits were then observed
over a period of weeks. At the end of this period of time the peaches had rotted the
most and burst and the peaches in the incubator were the first to go.

Many candles have been used for hundreds and thousands of years and ever since
the 1900 s it has been the only source of light. Present, not many people use candles
for their main light source. Some reasons why some people use candles is for
decorations, religious ceremonies, and to celebrate other people s birthdays. In
past years most candles were made from tallow. Tallow came from cows and sheep,
in the earlier times of the Egyptians and the Roman s. These early candles didn t
burn well and normally smelled worse. The Roman Empire was the first to provide
evidence of a candlethat resembles the candle today. They melted the tallow until it
was a liquid and poured it over fibers of flax, hemp, and cotton, which were used as a
wick. These candles were used in religious ceremonies as well as lighting for their

improvement from the tallow, but limited quantities were available. This made it

explain the causes of inter statewar, and to provide explanations of violence in the
modern global theatre. Overall, Waltz s argument of the three images is extremely
persuasive. The logical underpinnings of the models and the ways in which they
collaborate are, for the most part, concrete and well thought out. His theory
provides for three basic ideas through which the origins of all conflict can be
distilled. First, Waltz (1959) provides that thinkers such as Spinoza place the
responsibility of violence at the feet of human imperfection and lack of reason.
Secondly, he postulates that domestic policy of a state will lead to conflict (Waltz
1959). Finally, the theorist channels Rousseau s The Social Contract to explain

many plants that chemically repel ants, this project will test if there are any
household products, which contain some of the same naturally occurring repellents,
which ants will avoid. This paper will first identify what plants repel ants.
The herbs and plants that best repel ants are tansy, catnip, pennyroyal, peppermint,
sage, coffee, and spearmint. All of these but catnip have some of medicinal use.
Catnip and pennyroyal are both in the mint family. It is already known what makes
catnip a repellent nepetalactone, a chemical that simulates pheromones. It is
repulsive to insects, but attractive to cats. Tansy is also a repellent, and was used to
repel insects as early as the 19th century. However, this is for a different reason tansy
contains a volatile oil that becomes toxic when broken down. However, the
components of this oil, such as 1,8 cineole, thujone, camphor, and myrtenol all have
various chemical and pheromonal properties. The herb sage is more useful than
