The document discusses the history of e-governance in India from 1947 to 2007. It is divided into three phases: Phase I from 1947-1984 covers informatics-based e-governance using early computers for data processing and planning. Phase II from 1984-1995 covers the introduction of personal computers and networks. Phase III from 1995-2007 covers the rise of internet and web-based e-governance with the launch of programs like the National e-Governance Plan. The presentation provides details on the key developments and policies that shaped each phase of e-governance in India over the past 60 years.
The Digital Divides or the third industrial revolution: concepts and figuresIsmael Peña-López
It is usual to think about the digital divide as a very concrete aspect of the impact of ICTs, mainly concerning whether there is an existence of infrastructures (sometimes computers, sometimes computers connected to the Internet).
It is usual to think about digital literacy as the ability of someone to switch on a computer and playing some cards game, sending an e-mail and, optimistically, run some word processor and type in a love letter.
It is usual to think about ICTs as something that won’t make disappear the hunger in the world or heal the thousands of people suffering from countless diseases, specially in places where citizens live with less than one dollar a day.
It is usual to think about the digital divide as something that does not affect me, as I live on the sunny side of the world, in a developed country that will last this way for centuries.
With the aim to dismantle all these (almost) false assumptions, the seminar will try and give "correct" definitions for concepts such as Digital Divide, Digital Literacy, eReadiness or eAwareness and show examples on how ICTs can help underdeveloped and developing countries to reach higher quotas of welfare… and how so-called developed countries can exchange places with the lesser developed ones in case they do not pay attention to what is happening in a global world.

Internet of Things IoT Meaning, Application and Challengesijtsrd
The idea of making self- communicating devices conceived back in 1999 however it caught attention only after the British Entrepreneur Kevin Ashton christened the term Internet of Things. Since then, many distinguished researchers and other academicians of this domain have been adding significant knowledge on the fundamental concepts of IoT in the form of extensive researches, review papers and visual presentations. Here, in this paper, we are shedding light on the core concepts of Internet of Things. We further examine the potential impact of other existing or establishing technologies on IoT. We are presenting an extensive multi-facet report on the implementation of IoT while addressing many probable challenges that may occur in future. In June, the United Nations E-Government Survey 2014 was released. Its theme is “E-Government for the Future We Want.” The report provides a comprehensive collection of U.N. global surveys regarding the status of e-government and related practices around the world. South Korea once again topped the report’s rankings. Many countries have climbed the standings since release of the last report in 2012. This indicates worldwide growth in e-government. The leaders in e-government have many lessons to teach those grasping the concept. This paper will deliver an unbiased view of these e-government leaders. It also will detail the critical elements other countries must adopt in their drive for e-government.
A framework for IoT-enabled environment aware traffic management IJECEIAES
Vehicular traffic has increased across all over the world especially in urban areas due to many reasons including the reduction in the cost of vehicles, degradation of the quality of public transport services and increased wealth of people. The traffic congestion created by these vehicles causes many problems. Increased environment pollution is one of the most serious negative effects of traffic congestion. Noxious gases and fine particles emitted by vehicles affect people in different ways depending on their age and present health conditions. Professionals and policy makers have devised schemes for better managing traffic in congested areas. These schemes suffer from many shortcomings including the inability to adapt to dynamic changes of traffic patterns. With the development of technology, new applications like Google maps help drivers to select less congested routes. But, the identification of the best route takes only the present traffic condition on different road segments presently. In this paper the authors propose a system that helps drivers select routes based on the present and expected environment pollution levels at critical points in a given area.

Environmental and economic development in Newark, NJhmendoza716
A green city promotes economic development by providing an environmental friendly framework that encourages new trends that will provide monetary and social investment into the city, which creates a healthy and sustainable community. Environmental conservation and economic development are not conflicting but can be mutually reinforcing, as environmentalists have prompted calls for "environmentally sustainable" economic development. Economic development can be made progressive by reducing some of the detrimental effects of global warming, which for the most part, are man-made. By improvising on behaviors and understanding the need for a more environmentally friendly atmosphere, economic development can go green. Environmental sustainability can best spur regional development and economic growth by creating green jobs through retrofitting buildings in using renewable energy, cleaning-up and reinvesting in brownfield sites to create green space for mix-used communities, and to strengthen the public transportation infrastructure to bring commerce activity.

Contextualised Service Delivery in Internet of Things, Smart Parking for Smar...Ali Yavari
The Internet of Things (IoT) plays an important role in the development of smart cities. In this paper we focus on the development of IoT-based smart services for solving urban problems that involve IoT-enabled Observation, Orientation, Decision, and Action (OODA) loops. We also focus on how to efficiently support such OODA loops in situations where such loops involve internet-scale data. More specifically, IoT supports Observation via the discovery of sensors and the integration of their data. It supports Orientation via a contextualisation process that refines such data to include only those that are relevant to the situation and/or activities of each specific individual or group. As IoT contextualisation potentially involves internet-scale data, performing this process efficiently allows for fast decision making, and this in turn permits carrying out a timely Action.
Cybersecurity in the Age of the Everynet Bill Harpley
This presentation argues that Internet epoch has come to an end and that we are now entering the Age of the Everynet. In this new epoch, we can in principle connect every 'thing' to the global internet, thus producing the ubiquitous Everynet.
The author reviews the development of cyber security over the last few decades and asks how we can defend ourselves from cyber attacks in the hyper-connected world of the future. It concludes with a summary of the challenges which the Cybersecurity profession will face over the coming decade.
Nothing epitomizes modern life better than the
computer. Computers are such an integral part of our everyday
life now most people take them and what they have added to life
totally for granted. Even more so the generation who have grown
from infancy within the global desktop and laptop revolution
since the 1980s. The history of computer development is often
referred to in reference to the different generations of computing
devices. A generation refers to the state of improvement in the
product development process. This term is also used in the
different advancements of new computer technology. As new
technology was emerging, it was being used in the making of
computer. With each new generation, the circuitry has gotten
smaller and more advanced than the previous generation before
it. As a result of the miniaturization, speed, power, and com-
puter memory has proportionally increased. New discoveries are
constantly being developed that affect the way we live, work and
play.
Jadi infrastruktur TI berjalan diatas infrastruktur publik seperti listrik, gedung dll. Dalam infrastruktur TI dapat dilihat tidak hanya terdiri dari perngakta keras tapi juga terdiri dari perangkat lunak seperti OS, aplikasi middleware dan database.
Kecenderungan infrastruktur semakin hari semakin merambat naik.
