This project is the design and construction of double acting hacksaw for Cutting wood and metal to different length. The power is given by a motor it drives the pulley which holds the main screw. The main screw holds two connecting rods. The other ends of the connecting rods are connected to the frame of the hack saws. The hacksaws are constrained to move in a straight path with the help of sliders. The frame is designed to provide the necessary motion . In this double acting hacksaw machine we can able to cut materials such as wood, steel, etc. This machine makes the cutting operation much easier and also it reduces the production time. Since two work pieces can be cut at the same time the total time is also reduced. The handling of the machine is much simple.

This paper is to discuss to design and fabrication of a manual spring rolling machine by a simple mechanism arrangement for the production of closed and open coil helical springs. This machine is operated by manual method. This machine produces closed coil helical spring of different diameter and different length. Rolling is the process of bending metal wire to a curved form. The article in the shape of round is made by spring roller shaft. Rolling operation can be done on hand or power operated rolling machine. It can make a spring from a shaft. A shaft is a rotating machine element which is used to transmit power from one place to another. A bearing is machine element which supports another moving machine element. Guider is used to guide the raw material (spring wire). This guider moves on the shaft automatically. This self-movement is achieved by the lead of spring. Handle is used to operate the rolling machine manually, without electric power frame is carries an all parts of the machine, it is made up of mild steel. A work holding mechanism is used to hold the mandrel; it is attached to the main shaft of machine. Mandrel is fitting in the work holding mechanism, the mandrel’s outer diameter is known as internal diameter of the spring.

As digital technology becomes more deeply embedded in power systems, protecting the communication
networks of Smart Grids (SG) has emerged as a critical concern. Distributed Network Protocol 3 (DNP3)
represents a multi-tiered application layer protocol extensively utilized in Supervisory Control and Data
Acquisition (SCADA)-based smart grids to facilitate real-time data gathering and control functionalities.
Robust Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) are necessary for early threat detection and mitigation because
of the interconnection of these networks, which makes them vulnerable to a variety of cyberattacks. To
solve this issue, this paper develops a hybrid Deep Learning (DL) model specifically designed for intrusion
detection in smart grids. The proposed approach is a combination of the Convolutional Neural Network
(CNN) and the Long-Short-Term Memory algorithms (LSTM). We employed a recent intrusion detection
dataset (DNP3), which focuses on unauthorized commands and Denial of Service (DoS) cyberattacks, to
train and test our model. The results of our experiments show that our CNN-LSTM method is much better
at finding smart grid intrusions than other deep learning algorithms used for classification. In addition,
our proposed approach improves accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score, achieving a high detection
accuracy rate of 99.50%.

Embedded machine learning-based road conditions and driving behavior monitoring
Car accident rates have increased in recent years, resulting in losses in human lives, properties, and other financial costs. An embedded machine learning-based system is developed to address this critical issue. The system can monitor road conditions, detect driving patterns, and identify aggressive driving behaviors. The system is based on neural networks trained on a comprehensive dataset of driving events, driving styles, and road conditions. The system effectively detects potential risks and helps mitigate the frequency and impact of accidents. The primary goal is to ensure the safety of drivers and vehicles. Collecting data involved gathering information on three key road events: normal street and normal drive, speed bumps, circular yellow speed bumps, and three aggressive driving actions: sudden start, sudden stop, and sudden entry. The gathered data is processed and analyzed using a machine learning system designed for limited power and memory devices. The developed system resulted in 91.9% accuracy, 93.6% precision, and 92% recall. The achieved inference time on an Arduino Nano 33 BLE Sense with a 32-bit CPU running at 64 MHz is 34 ms and requires 2.6 kB peak RAM and 139.9 kB program flash memory, making it suitable for resource-constrained embedded systems.

- 4. ABSTRACT In our project explains about the pipe cutting by using the mini cut off machine. It is focused only for small diameter of pipe. At present electricity are used in a large amount for cutting both small size and large size diameter of pipe. But in our project we use only less amount of power. Vibrations are controlled due to the limited weight imposed on the machine. Since it is easily portable it shall be used by a plumber or an electrician and it is even used in small cottage industries.
- 5. INTRODUCTION One day our house was undergone with water leakage maintenance. The plumber cuts the PVC pipes with hacksaw blade, but while cutting the G.I pipes he measured the pipe and took it to the lathe and then he cuts the pipe. At that time I thought to overcome this problem. I decided to design a mini cutoff machine. That resulted in our project. This was designed mainly for Non-technicians such as electrician and plumber.
- 6. COMPONENTS •Electric Motor with Accelerator •Cross Slider •Vise •Abrasive Saw •Stopper •Safety Guard
- 7. ELECTRIC MOTOR WITH ACCELERATOR This is the main component in this machine. This motor rotates at the speed of 6500 per minute. It requires low power. The accelerator is used to control the motor speed.
- 8. CROSS SLIDER The cross slider function is to provide cutting action to the saw and the action of cutting saw will be perpendicular to center line of machine.
- 9. VISE A vise is a mechanical apparatus used to secure an object to allow work to be performed on it.
- 10. ABRASIVE SAW An abrasive saw, also known as a cut-off saw is a power tool which is typically used to cut hard materials, such as metals.
- 11. STOPPER It is used when we need number of products with the same length. It is made up of an adjustable screw.
- 12. SAFETY GUARD This is one of the important measures in a machine. There are two safety guards in this machine. One is for belt safety and the other is for spark protection.
- 13. WORKING Cut off machine operation is based on circular-saw blade movement. Depending on the work piece type, various kinds of blades with different rpm are selected. There is no feed motion. The part is fixed firmly to the table to avoid uneven cut in case of loosening. Preliminary process stages include precise examination. First, the part is fixed and tested for security. Then the circular-saw blade is inspected for security, integrity and sharpness of blade. Next, the blade is switched on. The cutting process starts only when the required rpm is reached. It is a crucial point, since when the blade does not speed up enough it can make an uneven cut or damage work piece edges. Every type of cut requires a specific kind of blade. Thus, thin-walled parts and work pieces require a fine-pitch blade. To cut a solid part, it is reasonable to use a wide-pitch blade.

- 17. APPLICATIONS Since the machine is portable, Non technicians like a plumber and an electrician can take this machine to the required site and cut the G.I and PVC pipes for the required size. A PVC bend manufacturer shall use this machine to cut the PVC pipes for the required bend size, though we can cut almost 650 pieces in an hour. A motor key manufacturer uses this machine to manufacture keys. A carpenter uses this machine to cut wood reapers.
