INTRODUCTION
• Microsoft has rebranded Dynamics CRM as Dynamics 365 for Sales in
Dynamics 365. it is design to support the record keeping of the entire sale
process. Dynamics 365 for Sales is an easy, agile and integrated CRM
solution that enables you and your employees to make well-founded
decisions, increase your turnover and provide a superior service to your
customers.
WHY WE USE IT ?
• MS Dynamics Sales enables sales team to track down Customers complete
profile i.e. Account or Contact.
• MS Dynamics Sales benchmarks performances against key sales performance
indicators to inform sales directors, managers and other sales professionals
with easy to follow charts and reports for real-time monitoring of individual
and team progress towards sales goals.
• By using MS Dynamics Sales, you can build out complete profile of your
competitors including known accounts they work with and which active sales
opportunities you are competing on.
• By using MS Dynamics Sales you can easily assign tasks and responsibilities
to sales individuals or teams giving them responsibility for ensuring a
positive outcome.
ENTITIES
• Dynamics 365 Entities are used to store and manage records. In
Dynamics 365 Entities are similar to Tables available in
Database. There are several entities available in different
Dynamics Modules i.e. Account, Contact, Lead, Opportunity,
Marketing List etc.

1. Lead : A lead represents any person or organization that a company
might have the potential to do business with.
2. Opportunity :When you qualify a lead, it becomes an opportunity, or a deal
that you’re getting ready to close.
3. Account : Account contain information about the companies you do business
with.
4. Contact : Contact contain information about the people you know and work
with. Usually, multiple contacts are associated with one account.
5. Quote : A quote is a formal offer letter for products or services proposed by
a organizations at specific prices and related payment terms that is sent to a
prospective customer. You can create a quote, save it as a draft, and specify
whether it is active (presented to the customer) or closed (completed, either
as an order or not).
6. Order : Whenever customer accept a quote its converted to sale order.
7 . Invoice : An invoice is an sale order that has been billed.
8. Sales Literature : Sales Literature provides sales team a place to store sales
information for your organization in Dynamics CRM. It gives sales team a place to store,
access brochures, promotional materials, pricing structures and other related literature. By
sales literature sale person can easily send leads and contacts information right from within
Dynamics CRM.
9. Product : Products are the soul of your business. They can be physical products or even
services—whatever your organization sells. The sales reps of your organization use the
products you create in Microsoft Dynamics 365 to generate sales quotes, marketing
campaigns, orders, and invoices.
11. Goal : It gives you the actual figures, whether it is revenue or the number
of opportunities won.

closing the sale ( Invoice Paid ). Sales process flow give you a

1. Create a Lead : fill all the mandatory detail i.e. Topic, Name
2. Qualify a Lead : when a lead qualify then Opportunity, Contact and Account get created.
3. Create Quote
4. Create An Order : when we create a order from active quote for opportunity than
opportunity close as ‘Won’.
5. Create Invoice:
