We’re all busy—and it’s a common theme in most professional workplaces—with people trying to get more done with finite time and resources. For a lot of firms today, a major challenge is making sure we’re spending our precious time making the most of every business opportunity by maximizing client relationships. Marketing & BD teams need to know if they’re focusing on the opportunities, RFI’s and RFP’s with the best potential; that they are managing their firm pipeline effectively; and they are giving everyone on the team the best tools for the job—wherever they are.
That’s why firms today are focused on creating great client relationships – they need to try to reduce complexity and make it easier to maximize opportunities, provide excellent client experiences, and grow the firm.
Why should a legal or accounting firm care? Because client experience and knowledge is increasingly important for firms of all sizes – across all client interactions.
Client experience…
…is what differentiates your firm
…is how you win and keep clients for the long-term
…is how you grow your firm …and in a world where clients are mobile and social, your reputation (& brand) is more important than ever.
Today you don’t have as many contact points as you used to have, and you have to make every one count. To thrive in this ultra-competitive environment firms of all sizes have to make client experience a priority. That is why you need Dynamics 365 and xRM! Creating an Effective MDM Strategy for SalesforcePerficient, Inc.
As Salesforce has grown from a simple, standalone tool to a platform that touches every customer interaction, the data has grown more complex. This problem happens for many reasons including user error, adding other cloud apps requiring data integration, and business mergers and acquisitions that create multiple instances of Salesforce within an organization.
A master data management (MDM) strategy is critical to helping companies solve challenges like providing enterprise analytics and creating a 360-degree view of the customer. With Informatica Cloud, companies are learning to address the challenges and explore alternatives including a cost-effective cloud MDM versus a full-blown MDM solution.
During this webinar, our experts demonstrated the Informatica cloud MDM solution in action and showed how with an effective strategy, you can:
-Support the business case for MDM consolidation of multiple instances
-Create a customer 360-degree view in the cloud
-Understand the use case, reference architecture, and why companies are choosing cloud-based MDM

Microsoft Viva. Viva is an employee experience platform that empowers people and teams to be their best, from anywhere.
Viva brings together communications, insights, knowledge, and learning within the flow of everyday work and collaboration, in Microsoft Teams.
Microsoft Teams is where most remote and hybrid work happens these days. And, Teams has become a hub where we can bring all these resources together into an integrated system of engagement – what Gartner calls a new work nucleus or digital workplace hub.
Importantly, with Microsoft 365 we already have foundational capabilities in each of these areas like Yammer, SharePoint, Stream, Workplace Analytics, Microsoft Search, LinkedIn, Glint and more.
Microsoft Viva builds on this foundation by adding innovative new services and insights focused on people development and success.
Connections is a company branded employee app in Teams. It is a gateway to your employee experience, with personalized news, communications, tasks, people and resources. It provides a single curated employee destination that can be configured for specific roles like frontline workers. So, leaders can communicate and engage their employees, and employees can get easy access to the tools and resources they need from one place.. Connections builds on existing capabilities in Microsoft 365 like SharePoint and Yammer. And it pulls your communications together into a pre-configured app in Teams, designed for both desktop and mobile workers. It also acts as a launching pad to the other 3 Viva modules
Insights brings together Workplace Analytics, MyAnalytics and Glint into a unified insights app in Teams to provide data-driven and privacy-protected insights for individuals, managers and leaders. For example, employees get personalized insights, only they can see, that help them protect their time for breaks, focused work, and learning in order to promote improved productivity and wellbeing.
Topics focuses on knowledge and expertise. Topics applies AI to identify knowledge and experts and organize them into shared topics. AI automatically creates a topic page for each topic. It’s like Wikipedia for the enterprise where AI does the first draft. And these topic pages are surfaced as Topic Cards right in the flow of work in Office and Teams.
Finally, Learning allows employees to easily discover informal and formal learning in the flow of work. It aggregates content from LinkedIn Learning, Microsoft Learn and 3rd party training content and your own organizations content – all in one place. Along with providing aggregation and recommendations, it also allows managers to assign and track training, as well as report on training within and across teams.

Maximize ROI of Insurance Digital Transformation Initiatives with Proven Data...Precisely
Many insurance carriers are transforming the way they do business by deploying new software technologies, migrating data and services to the cloud, and leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to speed decision-making. Data is at the heart of all these initiatives, and it has a direct impact on success or failure. When that data is integrated into upstream or downstream processes, it can also have a broader impact on the operational, analytical, and compliance needs of the organization. The traditional, and often ad-hoc, tools and processes that organizations employ to support data quality, data integrity, transaction reconciliation, and exception management are often inadequate. They do not provide the speed, technical agility, and intelligence demanded by digital transformation initiatives.
Join us to explore proven methods of how insurance carriers are maximizing ROI and minimizing the time-to-value of digital transformation initiatives by:
• Aligning data governance with organizational and project objectives to reduce implementation effort and duration
• Leveraging automated controls for data quality, including balance and reconciliation of data in motion to avoid operational disruptions and maintain regulatory compliance
• Increasing efficiency and capability through centralized data integrity solution

Unlocking Greater Insights with Integrated Data Quality for CollibraPrecisely
Data is arguably your company’s greatest asset, and a thoughtful data governance strategy, along with robust tools like Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC), is essential to getting the most value from that data. However, even the best data governance programs will falter without data quality.
Data governance systems provide a framework for the policies, processes, rules, roles and responsibilities that help you manage your enterprise data. But they don’t give you insight into the characteristics and quality of that data – such as errors, outliers and issues – nor how the data changes over time.
During this webinar, we discuss how seamlessly integrating Trillium DQ with Collibra DGC creates a complete data governance solution that delivers rapid insights into the health of your data, ensuring trust and compliance with organizational policies and plans. We demonstrate how data is automatically exchanged between the tools so users can:
• Quickly establish the rules needed to support policies
• Evaluate their data against those rules on an ongoing basis
• Identify problems or improvements with their data quality to take action
(Data) Integrity Matters: Four Ways You Can Build Trust in Your DataPrecisely
According to the Harvard Business Review, 47% of newly created data records have at least one critical error. For many organizations, the ability to trust their data seems almost impossible. Data lives in silos, is stale, unstandardized, full of duplicates, incomplete, or lacking in the insights required to make it truly valuable.
That’s why focusing on achieving data integrity – data with maximum accuracy, consistency, and context – drives better, faster, more confident decisions for your business.
During this on-demand webinar, you will learn how Precisely defines data integrity and how we can help you:
• Effectively integrate data from multiple data sources like mainframes, relational databases, or enterprise data warehouses into next-generation platforms
• Improve the quality of your data by making sure your data is complete, verified, and validated
• Incorporate third-party data to provide location, business, or demographic context
• Turn data into actionable insights using location – a straight-forward way to organize, manage, enrich, and analyze business data
Data governance and data quality are often described as two sides of the same coin. Data governance provides a data framework relevant to business needs, and data quality provides visibility into the health of the data. If you only have a data governance tool, you’re missing half the picture.
Trillium Discovery seamlessly integrates with Collibra for a complete, closed-loop data governance solution. Build your data quality rules in Collibra, and they are automatically passed to Trillium for data quality processing. The data quality results and metrics are then passed back to Collibra – allowing data stewards and business users to see the health of the data right within their Collibra dashboard.
View this webinar on-demand to see how you can leverage this integration in your organization to readily build, apply, and execute business rules based on data governance policies within Collibra.
How to Build Data Governance Programs That Lasts: A Business-First ApproachPrecisely
Data analytics and Artificial Intelligence play an increasingly pivotal role in most modern organizations. To keep those initiatives on track, enterprises must roll out data governance programs to ensure optimal business value. Data governance has become a fundamental element of success, a key to establishing the component of the data integrity framework in any business. The most successful data governance programs use a business-first approach, delivering quick wins and cultivating sustained success throughout the organization. Unfortunately, many organizations neglect to implement such programs until they experience a negative event that highlights the absence of good data governance. That could be a data breach, a breakdown in data quality, or a compliance action that highlights the lack of effective controls. Once that happens, there are several different paths a data governance initiative might take. A typical scenario often plays out this way: The executive team calls for implementation of a company-wide data governance program. The newly-minted data governance team forges ahead, engaging business users throughout the organization and expecting that everyone will be aligned around a common purpose.

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.

Search and Society: Reimagining Information Access for Radical FuturesBhaskar Mitra
The field of Information retrieval (IR) is currently undergoing a transformative shift, at least partly due to the emerging applications of generative AI to information access. In this talk, we will deliberate on the sociotechnical implications of generative AI for information access. We will argue that there is both a critical necessity and an exciting opportunity for the IR community to re-center our research agendas on societal needs while dismantling the artificial separation between the work on fairness, accountability, transparency, and ethics in IR and the rest of IR research. Instead of adopting a reactionary strategy of trying to mitigate potential social harms from emerging technologies, the community should aim to proactively set the research agenda for the kinds of systems we should build inspired by diverse explicitly stated sociotechnical imaginaries. The sociotechnical imaginaries that underpin the design and development of information access technologies needs to be explicitly articulated, and we need to develop theories of change in context of these diverse perspectives. Our guiding future imaginaries must be informed by other academic fields, such as democratic theory and critical theory, and should be co-developed with social science scholars, legal scholars, civil rights and social justice activists, and artists, among others.
