American Video Game Company is accepting proposals to develop a new customer relationship
management (CRM) system. This document is a business vision document that includes key
business requirements for the new system. It does not provide detailed system requirements.
This document provides enough information for a vendor to provide a recommendation for a
system to fit the American Video Game Companys needs. The proposal provided by the vendor is
required to be comprehensive and include enough detail so American Video Game Company can

Background
American Video Game Company is planning to launch an internal CRM system to allow for better
management of several disconnected manual and automated processes. The system should be
able to be integrated with other systems now and in the future to maximize and improve the
efficiency of data sharing, reporting, and business process flows.
The company is a premier developer and publisher of computer games. The games are well
designed and highly enjoyable for the customer. The company is known for the quality of its
games and has been ranked #1 for several years. The games are purchased through different
mediums, including an online game service. There are mobile options for some, but not all, of the
games the company develops and sells. The company also offers products such as action figures,
novels, comics, board games, and apparel. Future endeavors may include working on producing
movies based on the characters and plots in the games.
Sales have been up by 42% in the past two years, so the company is currently outgrowing its
existing systems for managing all aspects of CRM. The new system will be a crucial tool in being

In this presentation we will share our experiences around getting started with the Globus Compute multi-user endpoint. Working with the Pharmacology group at the University of Auckland, we have previously written an application using Globus Compute that can offload computationally expensive steps in the researcher's workflows, which they wish to manage from their familiar Windows environments, onto the NeSI (New Zealand eScience Infrastructure) cluster. Some of the challenges we have encountered were that each researcher had to set up and manage their own single-user globus compute endpoint and that the workloads had varying resource requirements (CPUs, memory and wall time) between different runs. We hope that the multi-user endpoint will help to address these challenges and share an update on our progress here.

Providing Globus Services to Users of JASMIN for Environmental Data AnalysisGlobus
JASMIN is the UK’s high-performance data analysis platform for environmental science, operated by STFC on behalf of the UK Natural Environment Research Council (NERC). In addition to its role in hosting the CEDA Archive (NERC’s long-term repository for climate, atmospheric science & Earth observation data in the UK), JASMIN provides a collaborative platform to a community of around 2,000 scientists in the UK and beyond, providing nearly 400 environmental science projects with working space, compute resources and tools to facilitate their work. High-performance data transfer into and out of JASMIN has always been a key feature, with many scientists bringing model outputs from supercomputers elsewhere in the UK, to analyse against observational or other model data in the CEDA Archive. A growing number of JASMIN users are now realising the benefits of using the Globus service to provide reliable and efficient data movement and other tasks in this and other contexts. Further use cases involve long-distance (intercontinental) transfers to and from JASMIN, and collecting results from a mobile atmospheric radar system, pushing data to JASMIN via a lightweight Globus deployment. Cross-facility research orchestration comes with ever-changing constraints regarding the availability and suitability of various compute and data resources. In short, a flexible data and processing fabric is needed to enable the dynamic redirection of data and compute tasks throughout the lifecycle of an experiment. 3. DYNAMIC 365 FOR FINANCIALS
Dynamic 365 for Financials formerly known as project Madeira shed light on the
financial part of an organization. This solution is introduced in the newly developed
Dynamic 365 family for the small to midsized organization. The potential customer

and excel. It also provide a rich ERP product for the users within their range of small

4. FUNCTIONALITIES OF DYNAMICS
365 FOR FINANCIALS
The functionality of dynamics 365 for financials is break down into three parts :

• Purchase
5. 1. FINANCIALS
Finance is a stream that deals with the study of investment. It deals with the study
of assets and liabilities over the time under the condition of risk. It can also be
termed as the field of Money management. Finance can be classified into three sub
categories: public finance, corporate finance Personal finance.
6. 2. SALES
A sale is the transaction of goods and services between two parties first one is
buyer and second one is seller. It can be termed as a mutual agreement between
the two parties. A core entity of sale cycle is customer which asks for a quote from
the dealer or a supplier and starts the whole cycle from sales quote to invoice
generation.
7. 3. PURCHASE
Purchasing is the process of buying goods and services from a vendor (core
entity).it can vary from organization to organization but the key element remain
same. it all start with a demand and requirement that could be any goods or
services. . A request for proposal (RFP) or request for quotation (RFQ) is then
created. Suppliers usually send their quotations in response to the quotes, and a
review is undertaken where the best offer (typically based
on price, availability and quality) is given the purchase order.
9. 1. MULTI CURRENCY
The software allows users to buy and sell in currencies that are different to local
currency. Currencies can be linked to exchange rate services to automatically update
the rates in the system.
10. 3. OUTLOOK INTEGRATION
The Outlook add-in allows the user to manage customer and vendor activities
directly from Outlook. Financial information from vendors and customers can be
accessed and documents such as quotes and invoices can be sent directly to clients.
11. 5. MS WORD TEMPLATE
Users have the option to use RDLC layouts (modified using SQL Server Report Builder)
or a simple MS word template. A Word report layout is a based on Word document
(.docks file type). Word report layouts enable the user to design report layouts by using
Microsoft Word 2013 or later. A Word report layout determines the report’s content –
controlling how that content elements are arranged and how they look. A Word report
layout document will typically use tables to organize content, where the cells can contain
data. Reports layouts can be exported or imported at any time.
12. 6. WORKFLOWS
When a record, such as a purchase document or a customer card, needs to be
authorized by someone in your organization, you send an confirmation request as
part of a workflow. Based on how the workflow is set up, the appropriate approver is
then notified that the record requires their approval.
13. PRICING AND LICENSING
For a full user or admin- leverages the majority of business apps’ functionality. They
have also been invoked to as “power users.” All licenses include automatic product updates.
The Full User license includes the rights for one external accountant user to access the
service at no additional cost. The license for this user has to be requested separately.
