This helped facilitate new elections for the LMA board. 2. Revenue from the market is shared 50/50 between the LMA and county government. In 2013, the LMA used its funds to pay school fees for 75 students, employ ECD teachers, fund water projects, and pay hospital bills. 3. Since interventions by the KRDP1 program, the number of traders and livestock at the market has increased. Livestock prices have been stable and revenue for the market has risen due to higher sales and capacity.
