2. Ondansetron (Zofran ODT)
MOA : Antiemetic medication.
It works by blocking the action of a chemical
messenger (serotonin) in the brain that may
cause nausea and vomiting

3. Metoclopramide ( Metochem )
MOA : The antiemetic action . Its antagonist
activity at D2 receptors in the chemoreceptor
trigger zone in the central nervous system —
this action prevents nausea and vomiting
triggered by most stimuli.

4. Pantoprazole (Protonix)
MOA : An antacid, proton-pump inhibitor,
prescribed for gastroesophageal reflux disease
(GERD), ulcers, Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome,
and erosive esophagitis.

5. Ranitidine (Zantac)
MOA : Antacid, Histamine H2-receptor
antagonist, Antihistamine

6. Pheniramine (Avil)
MOA : Antihistamine and Antiallergic medication.
It works by blocking the action of a chemical
messenger (histamine).

7. Lignocaine (xylocaine)
MOA : Amino amide class of local anesthetics.
Local anesthetics block the generation and the
conduction of nerve impulses by increasing the
threshold for electrical excitation in the nerve.

8. Paracetamol (Dymadon)
MOA : Non Steroidal Anti Inflammatory
Drugs, analgesic effect that is
mediated through activation of descending
serotonergic pathways.

9. Ceftriaxone (Axocare - Evershine)
MOA : 3rd generation cephalosporin antibiotics. It
works by killing bacteria. selectively and
irreversibly inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis
by binding to transpeptidases.

10. Levocetrizine ( Xyzal )
MOA : Antihistamines. It works by blocking
the action of histamine, a substance in the
body that causes allergic symptoms.

11. Azithromycin (Azithral)
MOA : Macrolide-type antibiotic.
It works by stopping the growth of bacteria.

12. Phenergan (Phenothiazine)
MOA : Antipsychotic derivative with very weak
dopamine receptor antagonism, that also blocks
H1 receptors.
It produces clinically useful anti-emetic and
sedative effects.

13. Frusemide (Lasix)
MOA : Potent loop diuretic that works to increase
the excretion of Na+ and water by the kidneys by
inhibiting their reabsorption from the proximal and
distal tubules, as well as the loop of Henle.

14. Torsemide (Demadex Oral)
MOA : pyridine-sulfonylurea type loop diuretic,
prescribed for hypertension, congestive cardiac
failure, chronic renal failure and hepatic cirrhosis.

15. Diclofenac ( Voltaren - XR)
MOA : NSAIDs, diclofenac exerts its action
via inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis by
inhibiting cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) and
cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2)

16. Tramadol ( Ultram )
MOA : Opiate (narcotic) analgesics. It works by
changing the way the brain and nervous system
respond to pain. It's used to treat moderate to
severe pain

17. Atropine ( Tropine )
MOA : Anticholinergic, Antispasmodic Agents.
Competitively blocks the effects of acetylcholine

18. Adrenaline - Epinephrin (Atrotas)
MOA : alpha- and beta-adrenergic agonists
(sympathomimetic agents).

19. Dobutamine ( Dobusol )
MOA : Synthetic catecholamine that acts on
alpha-1, beta-1 and beta-2 adrenergic
receptors.

20. Nitroglycerine (Nitroglyn)
MOA : Vasodilators. It works by relaxing
the blood vessels so the heart does not need to
work as hard and therefore does not need as
much oxygen.

21. Hydrocortisone (Hydrocort)
MOA : Corticosteroids. It works by
activating natural substances in the skin
to reduce swelling, redness, and itching.

22. Levosalbutamol (Levolin)
MOA : also called as levalbuterol, is a short-
acting β2 adrenergic receptor agonist used in
the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive
pulmonary disease (COPD).

23. Budecort (Budesonide)
MOA : Corticosteroids, potent topical anti-
inflammatory agent. It works by decreasing
swelling and irritation in the airways to allow
for easier breathing.
