Synopsis Guidelines
A synopsis with not exceeding 500 words and minimum 250 words is to be
submitted on or before 1stFebruary 2021.
Format of Synopsis
 The first page carries the Name of the student, Registration Number, and Title of
dissertation.
The subsequent pages should contain:
 Title of the study
 Need for the Study
 Statement of the problem
 Objectives
 Sampling
 Sources of Data
 Tools for data collection
 Plan of Analysis
 Expected outcome like publication of articles in the peer reviewed journals
 This has to be approved and signed by the student, Faculty Guide and HOD.

 Dissertation work must be in their area of specialization.
 Duration of the work shall be from 25th January to 31st March
2021.
 maintain regular contact with guide
 Compulsorily submit work progress on weekly basis to their
guide on every FRIDAY, which starts from 29th January 2021.
 Reporting time starts from 9am to 4pm on every Friday.
 Minimum of 90 per cent attendance is required to submit
dissertation.
 Any issues with regard to internet will not be acceptable while
reporting to Faculty guide.
 Need to take individual project work.
 The plagiarism, should not be more than 25 per cent.
 Students can publish their research work in any of the referred
journal.
