When I read Heart of Darkness, I did think it was a racist book. The story revolves
around a character named Marlow, who goes to work in the Congo. The labor for
the company he works for comes from the slavery of the native people. The author,

when he refers to them, he uses a racial slur, rather than calling them black people

Why Drawing Is Drawing
A person can have many skills, whether it be good or bad. Someone could paint
really well or could be a disastrous cook. There are many common skills such as

I will admit, drawing is hard when you first attempt it, but drawing is made up of
building blocks. You start out with a pencil sketch, and start adding new edits and
textures to make it more and more vivid and detailed. I don t usually color

In the wide spectrum of politics, there are many manipulative tools that can be used
to persuade an audience. In communist countries, such as Russia, government leaders
use propaganda to convince their citizens to believe their actions are right. Just like
in Animal Farm by George Orwell, Squealer consistently spreads propaganda to the
other animals throughout the book. Similarly, Frank Luntz, a pollster and political
consultant, often spreads his opinionated thoughts to the public. Using propaganda as

Psychology is one of the youngest lines of science and there is still a lot to be
learnt about it. Before the use of anti depressants, one of the first treatments used by
psychologists was psychoanalysis which was founded by Sigmund Freud in 1852.
Then later treatments such as electroconvulsive therapy formally known as electro
shock therapy were used. Currently the most common treatment for depression is
medication such as antidepressants as they are proven to be extremely effective in
