for service providers delivering marketing intelligence products and services selling B2B products and/ or services. My 
background in Marketing and Business Development represent a unique combination of disciplines. I have the drive

WORK EXPERIENCE 
February 2013-April 2014 Arab Media Forum for Environment and Development (AMFED), Cairo-Egypt 
Arab Media Forum for Environment and Development (AMFED) is a non-profit Arab media organization advocating a 
culture of dialogue in the Arab world by bringing together the media and various stakeholders through discussion and 
the exchange of ideas and also operates in areas of women empowerment (political and economic). 
Division: Business Development Title: PR, Communication and Advocacy Officer 
 Communicated and drafted different proposals and concept notes presented to embassies and large donors 
and received funds from the Swiss and British embassies, I secured half a million dollars’ worth (Cash and 
activity participation) 
 Opened new channels of cooperation with donor Agencies, Embassies, USAID, European Commission and 
WorldBank 
 Managed procedures and implemented AMFED media-related functions, like developing the press releases 
and writing newsletter for running programs updates on the website. 
 Analysed different Media press releases related to running programs and provided concurrent feedback 
needed to meet pre-set objectives.

January 2010-January 2013 Care Direct Egypt LLC. Cairo – Egypt 
Care Direct is a direct marketing services Agency operating in BTL (below the line advertising); Care Direct operates in 
23 countries doing sampling activities for multinationals for different products in all the Hospitals in a given country 
to enable clients to achieve maximum market penetration. 
Division: Business Development Title: Operations and Business Development Manager 
 Initiated new business with new clientele (Sekem and Reedy group) and increased the span of the the existing 
program. 
 Established company assets in the start-up phase and in cooperation with the Project manager recruited 180 
Health Educators within 16 governorates 
 Created Surveys to measure growth rates and penetration rates and analysed feedback from Poof Of Delivery 
cards to monitor health educators performance. 
 Successfully managed the facilities and managed the move from the establishment facility to the current 
office as well as the ware house where a second ware house was added to facilitate the operations 
 Lead a team of Operations-logistics, CRM, Data management 
 Created payroll sheets & collective monthly analysis for POME (Point Of Market Entrance) Project and 
supervised the CRM process.

IFC is the private sector arm of the World Bank group and Business Edge Program is IFC brand name of management 
training program for SMEs. I escalated from a researcher to an Analyst to Business development officer. 
Division: Technical Advisory Services-SMEs Pillar Title: Researcher /Analyst/ Corporate Relation-ship officer 
 Managed the content development process for 30 trainer manuals & 36 workbooks for Small and medium 
Enterprises, Business Edge, IFC owned brand name for SMEs as a researcher 
 Created Surveys to analyse different industries performances on a macro level 
 Orchestrated with the team the production and re-launch the Business Edge new communication concept 
and BE new promotion material as a marketing analyst 
 Designed and implemented promotion campaigns to create demand within the SME target group and 
implemented seminars with 3rd parties in different regions in Egypt & MENA Region 
 Identified business opportunities to further develop the SME market either through business associations or 
relevant active organizations (EJB in Egypt, SMEPS in Yemen) 
 Structured a highly successful model responding to needs of corporate clients to improve the business 
performance of SMEs in their value chain with large Corporate clients like Unilever, Microsoft, Mobinil and 
Novartis, as well as for other corporate clients in other parts of MENA region like Riyadh bank in KSA, HSA
