INTRODUCTION
 Marginalization is a social Process in
which specific members of society are
given less importance and their needs are
ignored In Other Words, they are
excluded with respect to some rights and
opportunities.
MEANING OF MARGINALIZATION-
 According to Merriam - Webster,
"To put in an unimportant position with in a society"
 According to yoursdictionary.com,
"The process of making a group of people less
important"
TYPES OF MARGINALIZATION-
 Marginalization is divided into four categories
which are given below –
1. Economic marginalization
2. Social marginalization
3. Religious marginalization
4. Language marginalization
ECONOMIC MARGINALIZATION-
 It is used to describe a group of people that are
excluded from participating equally in
economic system .
 For Example - Discrimination on the basis of
income levels
SOCIAL MARGINALIZATION
 Social marginalization is the concept of keeping a
person in an undesirable societal position. it is the
process in which individuals are blocked from various
rights, opportunities and resources etc.
 For Example:- Employment, Health, Democratic,
participation etc.
RELIGIOUS MARGINALIZATION
 Across societies, individuals, and communities can be
socially excluded on the basis of their religious benefits
and they deviates their religious teaching is know as
religious marginalization.
 For Example- Tradition, culture, language and religion
etc.
LANGUAGE MARGINALIZATION
 Language marginalization is defined as the deliberate
elimination of a language, without killing its speakers,
forcing speakers to give up a mother tongue.
 For Example:- Discrimination on the basis of language.
MEANING OF GENDER INEQUALITY
 When a community discriminate on the basis of gender, it
refers to gender inequality.
 For Example:- When one gender needs are ignored or
given less importance or preferences it is marginalized
environment with gender inequality.
CONCLUSION
 In marginalized environment one section of society
is experienced bad or wrong. This is not good for
the development of our nation in a positive
manner. So, providing equal opportunities and
rights to individuals is the best solution to over
coming the marginalization.
