3. OTITIS EXTERNA – refers to the infection in the outer canal of the outer ear.

3. 1.ASTIGMATISM – this is a condition wherein the person experiences blurry or distorted vision.
2. MYOPIA – this is a condition wherein a position has trouble clearly seeing distant objects
“near-sightedness”.
3. HYPEROPIA – has difficulty seeing of focusing on nearby objects “farsightedness”.
4. XEROPHTHALMIA – a condition wherein the eyes fail to produce tears because of the
abnormal drying of the conjunctiva, also known as “dry eye”.
5. STRABISMUS – a condition in which the eyes do not align with each other properly when
looking at an object, also known as “crossed eyes”.

4. 1. SUNBURN – refers to the damage of the skin caused by ultraviolet rays from the sun.
2. DANDRUFF – is the flacking of the skin on the scalp and is commonly accompanied by itchiness.
3. CORN AND CALLUSES – calluses are dry, hardened, thick bumps on the skin that usually develop on the soles of
the feet, under the heels or balls or on the palms or knees.
4. INGROWN TOENAILS – this happens when the sides of a toenail grows through the soft skin surrounding it.
1. SCOLIOSIS – this condition in which the spine has an abnormal sideways curve.
2. HYPERLORDOSIS – this is the excessive inward arching of the lower part of the spine, causing pain and sometimes
immobility.
3. KYPHOSIS – this is the abnormal outward curving of the spine that creates a hump-like shape on the person’s
back.

5. 1. TOOTH DECAY – it is the gradual breakdown of the teeth caused by plaque.
2. GINGIVITIS – a disease wherein the gums become tender, red, swollen and starts to bleed.
3. PERIODONTITIS – occurs when the bones that support the teeth become inflamed.
4. MALOCCLUSION – a condition wherein the upper and lower teeth do not properly fit together.
5. HALITOSIS – this condition is caused by bacteria that proliferate in your mouth when you do not brush and
floss your teeth
1. BODY MASS INDEX – quantifies the amount of muscles, fats and bones that a person has based on his or
her height, weight and gender in order to determine whether he or she is within the
generally ideal weight range.
2. PLAQUE – sticky, slimy film of bacteria that clings to the teeth and causes tooth decay.
3. TARTAR – a mineral build just above the gums.
