Management Gurus
C. K. Prahalad
           Biography:-
           Prahalad was the ninth of eleven children born in 1941 in to
            a Kannada speaking family in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu
           . His father was a well-known Sanskritscholar and judge in Chennai.
            At 19, he joined Union Carbide, he was recruited by the manager of
            the local Union Carbide battery plant after completing his B.Sc degree
            in Physics from Loyola College, Chennai, part of the University of
            Madras.
           He worked there for four years.
           Prahalad called his Union Carbide experience a major inflection
            point in his life.
            Four years later, he did his post graduate work in management at
            the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
           At Harvard Business School, Prahalad wrote a doctoral thesis on
            multinational management in just two and a half years, graduating
            with a D.B.A. degree in 1975.
           Prahalad was co-founder and became CEO of Praja Inc.. The goals of
            the company ranged from allowing common people to access
            information without restriction (this theme is related to the "bottom of
            pyramid" or BOP philosophy) to providing a test bed for various
            management ideas.

           In 2009, he was awarded Pravasi Bharatiya Sammaan
           In 2009 he was awarded Padma Bhushan
           In 2009 he was named the world's most influential business thinker on
            the [Thinkers50.com] list, published by The Times .
Arindam Chaudhuri
        Occupation:-
        Prof. Chaudhari is Dean of IIPM, New Delhi

          Biography
             Arindam is the son of Dr. Malayendra Kisor
           Chaudhuri, who founded the Indian Institute of
           Planning and Management (IIPM) in 1973.
          He received his Post Graduate Diploma in Planning
           and Entrepreneurship from IIPM in 1992.
          He later became the Honorary Dean for the IIPM
           Centre for Economic Research and Advanced
           Studies.
          Also in 2004, Arindam Chaudhuri was appointed as a
           member (social and agricultural sector) of the
           Consultative Committee for the Planning
           Commission, Government of India.

DEBASHIS CHATTERJEE
           Qualification:-
           Ph. D. (Management),
           Master Degree (Personnel Management)
           Occupation:-
           He is currently the Director of the Indian Institute of
            Management, Kozhikode .
           Founder of the Global Center for Leadership and Human
            Values


           Biography:-
              Debashis Chatterjee has been a professor for about fifteen
            years in IIM, Lucknow and IIM, Calcutta.
            He pioneered and founded the global Center for Leadership and
            Human Values at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM).
            Chatterjee's professional career included experiences in India, the
            United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, South East Asia and
            South Africa. Chatterjee was a Fulbright Fellow at Harvard University
            and MIT.
           He was recently a Visiting Fulbright Professor at Harvard University's
            Kennedy School of Government.
           He also taught in the MBA programs at the University of St. Thomas,
            Minnesota and at the Harvard Graduate School of Business.
            Chatterjee was formerly the Dean, Leadership Centre, S.P. Jain
            Centre of Management, Singapore. Currently he is the Director
            Indian Institute of management Kozhikode.
