2. Responsibilities in the Technology Infrastructure Services (TIS) Horizontal as Project Manager
(April 2007-Sep 2011):
This break gave an International Exposure to my career path. My assignments
included:

Bucharest, Romania,
Recruitment/ training/Project proposals along with the Delivery head in
Romania,
Technical and startup issues relating to the potential of the Romania
Center for Product Support domain within TIS,
Involved in a lot analytics and timely / effective reports for top
management,
Involved with Quality Assurance and Delivery Excellence team and in
defining the operational excellence area for customer accounts and
statistical analysis,
Responsible for problem, incident, change , closure SLA, CSAT, Managed
Services and NOC,
Provided RCA for severity incidents and problems,
Responsibilities in the Manufacturing Vertical as Resource Manager
(Febā04-March ā07):
This position gave me an opportunity to move into a business operational
role. My contribution was to manage Staffing Resources. My work included:

3. WIPRO Academy of Software Excellence (WASE)
WASE is a collaborative program with BITS-Pilani which was highly successful.
My involvement in this initiative extended to managing the entire program
for about 600 students which included planning schedule of classes, time
tables, stipend inputs, HR issues, final induction/convocation and entry into the
organization. I was also involved in the faculty selection and evaluation process.
I inducted the staff and the WASEians and kept track of performances/grades as
per norms.
I was also a member of the Academic Advisory Council for BITS, Pilani
during the period and coordinated/pioneered all Chennai operations for
the program. This included the ground work for establishing and smooth
running of the program in Chennai and Hyderabad for the first time and handled
the respective location
coordination.

4. (Sept 1995-March 2001):
A part of the Training Group, to incorporate the training plans and needs within
the organization, I was able to support both induction and
technical/leadership programs and handled the lateral induction
process and sessions across Global R&D. I started to co-ordinate the
Training Programs and enhance effective training program and delivery.
Aside from this, I was responsible for:
ā Identification of Trainers- internal and external ,
ā Effective Training Delivery and operations,
ā Negotiation on training fees,
ā Maintaining and Co-coordinating with External Training Vendors,
ā Managing software and hardware Resources ,
ā Role based Training Needs and Delivery.
In systems management and planning, role involved to:
ā Maintain records and face quality audits,
ā Identify potential trainers and quality vendors in all areas
ā Participate in Quality Improvement Councils(QICs),
ā Collate information on Training Effectiveness,

As part of this one of its kind venture to train and recruit engineering graduates
who do not get an opportunity to join the company through campus recruitment,

ā Final Evaluation and Selection Process.
We implemented 26 successful programs in Chennai, Bangalore and
