This is my masthead for my contents page. I
believe this is a suitable masthead as it seeks
attention but also matches with my
background picture. I also think that the colors
will look very good and suit well with my text.
Its not very bold and big but I think it still looks
good because it looks strong and does suits
well with my genre. Another reason I believe
this is a successful masthead is because it is
simple and effective.

3. 2.LOGO AND PICTURE
I have chosen to use this picture as I believe it suits
with my music genre. This is because the outfit I
have used matches with r&b music. Also I think the
model suits well with the genre. Therefore I believe
it is successful. Moreover the background looks
simple and this makes the model stand out due to
this I think this picture will be good for a contents
page because there is not much going on
additionally its easier to use my fonts and colors
effectively. Therefore this picture will be a suitable
for a contents page. This is my logo for my magazine.
I have used a logo because it looks professional and
also matches with my front cover masthead. This is
because I used the letter D from my masthead on
my front page. This Looks suitable and also makes
the magazine more realistic.

4. 3.BOX
I added this box because It is hard for me to add text on this
Background because the background color is not very suitable for text. Additionally
because It’s a brick background when I add text the text does not look appealing and
the page does Not look like a real magazine. Therefore I added this transparent
background to help me add My text. I think this would make my magazine look more
effective as I could use many colors Because it is white. Therefore I added this white
box. I added the white box by first cutting The model out and then doing another layer
of her. Once I did this I did this white box. I put the Under the model. Which looks more
effective and attractive. It was abit time consuming But I think the outcome is very
good.

5. 4.BANNER
In this screen shot I added another very small
Box and a banner. I think these are essential
Because it makes the page look more attractive
And it’s important that my readers see the key
Information. Therefore I added a black box and white
And pink text which I think goes very well. Therefore
Both the key information stands out and the magazine
Looks attractive. Therefore I think this looks successful.

6. 5.TEXTS
This is my texts for the contents page. I used black font color because I think it matches well with the background which makes
the font stand out. Moreover I used a dark tone of grey for the numbers because I wanted them to be different because it looks
very boring when all text is just one color. I try to use interesting information on my contents page as I think the contents page is
important and should include conventional information. I included key features such as interview, competitions and MTV
awards which will be very useful to attract target audience. Therefore I done them in bright pink which I think looks very
sophisticated. I also think that by adding the pink text it goes well with my genre. Additionally I used banner at the bottom of the
page to take attention of readers. I also did it white and big font so that it could appeal to my audience. To add on I noticed that
most magazines have website on the contents page. I used pink for that too to make it seem as a essential and key information. I
also think that by adding that the magazine looks more professional.

7. 6.SMALL PICTURE
I added a small image at the end of the page as
I think it will look appealing and also most
R&B magazine include small picture. To add on
because all of the contents page is full with
writing I think by adding a small picture it
would make the page more engaging. The
small picture would prevent the page looking
boring and dull therefore I adding a small
picture makes my page look more effective.
Overall I think it looks good and I have placed it
correctly on the page.

8. 7.FINAL OUTCOME
Overall I believe this is a successful outcome
and looks very attractive. This is because I
believe it does suit with R&B genre and the use
of the colors also match. Therefore the
magazine overall looks very conventional and
realistic. I believe I have used good information
which is useful such as interviews ,quote and
awards etc which instantly attracts the reader.
Additionally I believe it looks professional as I
used key elements from music magazines such
as I created my own magazine logo. Therefore I
believe it looks good and refers to my genre.
