It was originally self-published but is now owned by Vice Media. This was an advertising campaign for Tazo bottled iced tea and the project was created my Sophomore year. Our target markets were 18- 26 and 27-34 year old women. Adobe Photoshop, Indesign, and Qualtrics were used for this project.
This project focused on positioning and marketing for The Beverly J Martin enrichment program, an after-school elementary program located in the Ithaca area. Lead by Julia Kohn and Emily Dunn, they strategically delegated work to group members and focused their efforts on a social media presence, web presence, brand awareness and promotional materials for staff and parents.

For this project, team members collaborated to create a mobile marketing campaign for the Paleontological Research Institution. Julia Kohn strategically delegated work to group members and mock-ups for the new mobile website were created. Google Analytic was additionally used to strategize marketing plans and to increase website traffic.
This project was handed to half of the 451 Marketing interns. The interns worked with a non-profit client called Bina Farm Center, which is a equine-assisted horse therapy, and were lead by Jacob Ascoli. They delved into creating a stronger brand positioning and awareness for the client among the community and possible sponsors for their gala. Interns focused their efforts on marketing, design, public relations, social media and SEM.

• They are a multi-platform media group, with locations across the UK. Following their purchase of
Emap in 2007 (A British media company). Bauer has acquired a collection of media brands that
includes Heat and Grazia as well as a portfolio of national radio brands such as KISS FM UK and
Magic.
• Bauer are also involved in music publications such as Q magazine which Bauer took over from
EMAP. Other music magazines such as Kerrang and MOJO.
3. Independent Publisher i-D magazine
• i-D is a British magazine dedicated to fashion, music, art and youth culture. i-D was founded by
designer and former Vogue art director Terry Jones in 1980. The first issue was published in the
form of a hand-stapled fanzine with text produced on a typewriter. Over the years the magazine
evolved into a mature glossy but it has kept street style and youth culture central.
• In 1984, Tony Elliott became a publishing partner with 51% share of the company. Jones
remained editor-in-chief and creative director, but he also worked on other commercial
projects. In 2004, Jones - together with his wife Tricia, regained total control of the
company. i-D acquired in Vice Media.
After doing all of this research I would choose to publish my magazine with a big
corporation, as I believe that it would reach its full potential my magazine is very current and
new. Companies such as Bauer are already in partnership with similar magazines which
some I have took inspiration from. By signing with a big publisher I understand that they
may change my magazine or add to it but I think that would be a possible good thing as
they are expanding its success and also the company may have a different outlook on the
magazine.
