doing my research on different

THE BEST MEDIA INSTITUTION FOR MY MAGAZINE
➤ The institution that I think will publish and distribute my magazine the best would be Bauer
Media.
➤ Firstly, as they publish a wide variety of different magazines that cater for many different
target audiences ranging from men, to women and older ages,to teenagers it suits my
magazines desired target audience. It will also help the distributors target the magazine at a
more specific audience.
➤ Secondly, the industry doesn't produce a magazine within the specific genre of pop, and
because Bauer have been running for a number of years (since 1875), I believe my magazine
would offer them a good direction into the British/American pop market to give them access
to a large genre and create more profit. To find a good distributors to find one that doesn't
already distribute a large number of magazines that are of a similar genre and target
audience. this is because the distributing company would want to offer a variety of styles of
magazines to stores and not all that are the same. Therefore this will also will give readers a
genre that is new and fresh in this institution and keep up with the latests genre trends.
➤ Thirdly, one of their magazines 'Kerrang!' is the world's biggest selling weekly music
magazine, which has a large, music inclined, dedicated audience.
➤ Furthermore, my magazine could benefit from being distributed by Bauer as they are known
worldwide, allowing them to be able to promote my product well nationally.
Why is it beneficial for the creator?
For me as a magazine creator, finding a large company is
beneficial because it will gain more contacts with other types of
companies and businesses and will earn money for the
magazine. This is one by earning contacts with companies that
will want advertisements put into my magazine to help to
heighten their platform and products and in turn, pay me for
including their advertisements.
