Preparation  You are only as good as your answers at the interview  Tell your manager/referees  Learning about the challenges facing the Organisation and the Profession  Your Competencies:  Your past achievements  Your background and work history  Understanding the job requirements  Job description  Competencies required – align  Future proof
  • 8. Internal Candidate  No life lines  Research extensively – no assumptions  Arrange a mock interview – interview room  Annual Leave ?  Professional approach
  • 9. External Candidate  Research the organisation extensively  Visit – pre-book  Contacts within organisation - mentor  Contact HR if you require further clarification on process
