Introduction
Lupin Human Welfare & Research Foundation is started
on 2nd October, 1988 with an objective to provide an
alternative model of rural development which is
sustainable and ever evolving. This was a humble
tribute to the father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi on
his birth anniversary.

It is an independent entity of Lupin Limited,
implementing Lupin CSR activities all over India. This
organization has been registered under Societies Act/
Trust act and exempted under 35 AC and 80 G. LHWRF
is also entitled to take foreign funding through its
Foreign Contribution Regulation Act account.
Mission and Objectives
MISSION: To provide an alternative model of rural
development which is sustainable and ever evolving
essentially empowering under privileged and marginalized
sections of society and providing basic infrastructure and
balanced ecological base to the villages.
Objectives
To help create more employment opportunities particularly for unemployed
youth and women.
To develop an attitude towards living a healthy life and taking concrete
steps in that direction.
To strengthen primary occupations like agriculture and animal husbandry
through increased output & value addition.
To create basic infrastructure facilities for the community such as:-Provision for
drinking water, Building internal roads, Basic sanitation, Formal education
