Celador Films is a UK-based global film and radio company founded in 1983. It has produced successful projects like Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and The Descent films. Though smaller than Sony, Celador has found success through strategic distribution deals and lower production budgets. In addition to films, Celador operates radio stations and develops other entertainment properties like a musical based on Slumdog Millionaire.

Celedor entertainment is a global film and radio
company which is located in the united kingdom. It was
founded in 1983 by Jasper Carrot and Paul Smith. They
are known for producing Who Wants To Be A
Millionaire and The Descents. They have won 7 Baftas ,
4 Golden globes and 8 Oscars which include Best
Director and Best Picture. They became independent
after complete communications brought them out in
1991 . They brought there self back out in 2007. they do
not have high lancers to help them.

There are lot of ways production company's make
money . They might sell rights to other people and
make a money chain. They more then likely do not
make money selling tickets. They receive money by
selling the distribution rights. In this case they have sold
the rights to Pathé. Sometimes they might do co
productions. They operate through distribution fees by
selling the project. They could also give the project to a
bigger company. Co funding could also be the case.

Compared to Sony who have made several successful films over a decade , celador have
only made 7 films . These include The Descent and Slum Dog Millionaire. Sony's production
values compared to celador is much more. Celador has less production value due to not
having the equal amount of successful films compared to Sony. Other company's including
Sony , don’t compare to the little distribution cost that celador has.
• Sex tape which came out this year and was distributed by Sony .it cost £$38,543,473 to
make. It grossed $109,043,473.
• 28 Days later which came out In 2002 was distributed by dna productions. It only cost
$45,064,915 to make. It grossed $82,719,885
• 12 years a slave which came out in 2013 was distributed by film 4 and grossed
$187,733,202 world wide. It cost $56,671,993.
These have been successful films made by other film production companies. Celador films is
as successful as these ones.
• The Descent is a film made by celador which was made in 2005 but didn't’t make as
much until 2006.. It cost 3.5 million to make. It grossed £ 57,051,053.

Celador productions isn’t just a movie company. It does a wide variety of
things including theatre productions and cd sales.
For instance they are making a musical for slum dog millionaire. They also
manage to maintain 2 radio stations called the breeze and 106.5 jack. They
started up in 1991 and manage to make seven successful films.
