2013 for those interested in the digital media industry.
 You will develop a wide range of skills across a variety of units

using industry standard software including the Adobe suite.

Year 10 Units Understand structure of course Be able to work as a team Pre-Production Skills • 1hr 15min Exam • Understand purpose and use of planning methods • Moodboard, mindmap, storyboard, visualisation • Learn how to critically review products Digital Graphics • Coursework Unit • Understand basics of digital graphics editing • Learn about image types and properties • Develop a range of image editing techniques

Year 11 Units Understand structure of course Be able to work as a team Comic Strip Storytelling • Coursework Unit • Learn about the history of comic books • Understand use of software in comic book creation • Create original assets for characters and backgrounds 3D Game Design • Coursework Unit • Investigate game hardware, software and peripherals • Plan and create a game for a particular audien • Use a range of characters and edit environments
