1. Students are tasked with developing an original concept for a video game that could be pitched to a local game company. They must research existing similar games, plan and visualize their concept, and provide documentation of the planning process.
2. The tasks involve generating initial ideas, researching the market, experimenting with game production techniques, formally proposing the concept, pre-production planning, producing the game, getting peer feedback, and evaluating their work.
3. Students will be assessed based on criteria including developing ideas, researching the market, using appropriate production methods and skills, contextual awareness, and assessing the effectiveness of their planning and finished product.
