❖ A library management is a system that manages and stores books information
electronically according to students needs.
❖ It becomes necessary to keep a continuous check on the books issued and returned
and even calculate fine.
❖ This task if carried out manually will be tedious and includes chances of mistake.
❖ Thus this system reduces manual work to a great extent allows smooth flow of library
activities by removing chances of errors in the details

There is no renew options for books in library.
There is no reservation of books by the students ,which
enables the students for reservation of books

7. Objective of the proposed work
❖ The aim of the project is to design the software for the mentioned problems
❖ The library management system software helps in reducing operational costs.
❖ Incase if a student cannot appear in physical mode to library he/she may reserve books in
library .
❖ Fine and Due Date options may give the student a clear cut view of fine and due which
allows extension of due details too.
❖ QR code attendance and auto generated library card
