There are various ways to educate deaf students and one method is called mainstreaming.
Mainstreaming is when a student with a disability, in this case being hearing impaired, is taught in
a class with hearing students. Mainstreaming is supposed to be beneficial for the deaf student in
both a social level, as well as on an educational level. Focusing on the social aspect of
mainstreaming, it is important to look at deaf interactions with peers in the mainstream setting as
well as the acceptance of deaf peers from the hearing students. Deaf students are more likely to
succeed academically in the mainstream environment, but when it comes to peer relations and

Automatic Stroooding
The aim of this experiment was to test how the automatic processing of reading interferes with the
controlled processing of naming a colour. The findings support the original previous research
(Stroop, 1935) as a significant difference was found which indicates that when the controlled
process of naming a colour is not interfered with then it can be recognized faster whereas when the
automatic processes of reading words is involved then the time taken to name the colour is slower
due to the interference.
The results also support Teccee Happ, 1964, whose experiment used a different method of using
colour cards instead of non words but still helped to support their conclusions. They found that
participants responded faster with matching the colour with the colour cards as there was no
automatic process involved compared to the participants who had to match the colour ink of the
word to the colour card. This took the participants longer due to the interference of the automatic
process of reading which was what this experiment also found, further supporting the automatic
process interference theory.

Chess is an original musical with music by Benny Andersson and BjГ¶rn Ulvaeus, with book and
lyrics by Tim Rice. The story follows an unexpected relationship between a Soviet chess
grandmaster and a woman who manages his opponent during the World Chess Match in Bangkok,
Thailand. The significance of the World Chess match in this story is tremendous because it takes

from America and the U.S.S.R, and each country wants their grandmaster to win for propaganda
purposes. The main characters in the story are not representations of real people, but are thought to

Chess was first released as an album in 1984 before any stage productions were attempted, partly

INTRODUCTION:
A mobility scooter is a mobility aid similar to a wheelchair but configured like a motor scooter. It is
often referred to a power operated vehicle or electric scooter.
A mobility scooter has a seat over two rear wheels, a flat area for the feet and handlebars in front
to turn one or two steerable wheels. The seat may swivel to allow access when the front is
blocked by the handlebars. Mobility scooters are usually battery powered. A battery or two is
stored on board the scooter and is charged via an onboard or separate battery charger unit from
standard electric power. Gasoline powered scooters are also available; through they are rapidly
being replaced by electric models.
Assistive and small sit down motor scooters provide important advantages to people with mobility
problems throughout the world. A scooter is useful for persons without the stamina or arm/shoulder
flexibility necessary to use a manual wheelchair. Also, swiveling the seat of an electric scooter is
generally easier than moving conventional wheelchairs. A mobility scooter is very helpful for
persons with systemic or whole body disabling conditions who are still able to stand and walk a
few steps, sit upright without torso support and control the steering tiller.

at the time. They disregard any footage from the event, believing that NASA and the US
government created a fake set in an undisclosed location and used special effects to make the
footage seem more believable. All of the claims made by these hoax believers can be refuted with
science and common sense, and that is what this paper sets out to do.
The Apollo missions were huge efforts that required thousands of scientists, workers and

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, or so it seems. Society implements the standard of beauty in
our everyday lives. It controls what roles women are expected to perform. A similar anticipation
goes for men, but for masculinity . Every individual man is supposed to be masculine and have

expected to meet society s standards of masculinity. He as well mentions his reasoning on why that

unfeeling, obedient, soldierly, and stop thinking (1). Having such cold and negative qualities is

Disregarding the fact that I ve been gone quite a long time, San Antonio, Texas remains where I
call home. As far as recalling my child hood, I was raised Catholic and followed many traditions

In my opinion, without any previous knowledge, my assumption would be that the earliest
civilizations created the Bible to a certain extent to explain the teachings of a higher being. I
believe that we are all born with a mindset to survive and grow as a civilization, that being said I

retirement savings. Any resident of Canada under the age of 71 who has earned income may

RRSPs are the Canadian government s way of helping citizens save their money for retirement.
Saving for 30 to 40 years of retirement may seem like a long task, but well planned contributions

My conclusion is that RRSPs benefit Canadians by reducing their taxes and allowing their
savings to compound tax free. Individual RRSP s are the most common type of RRSP s. RRSP
contributions are deducted from earned income before it is taxed, so the money that you put into
an RRSP is not taxed until it is withdrawn. Taking money out of an RRSP account before
retirement can be very expensive because withholding taxes often apply. The RRSP Home Buyer s
Plan allows contributors to borrow RRSP funds to finance the purchase of a home. Also that it
would be the best to start making contributions early to avoid early withdrawals.

In the book Reading the World Ideas that Matter explains how there are three moderns of persuasion
which are; ethos, pathos, and logos. Aristotle states that ethos is more about communicating with
your audience. An ethos speaker would use such as, changing their tone of voice, physical

Sometimes pathos can be manipulative, but if its use correctly it can help you connect with the
reader and exemplify the emotional piece of a topic. Pathos emphases on emotion, imagination
and sympathy. In the book, Austin gave us a list that can be used as emotional appeals, sympathy,
fear, anger, belonging and pride/vanity. Logos is more about logic and reason, according to
Aristotle. Logic speakers have a reason and evidence behind an argument which makes the
